Yeah. buit didn't Re/Blue/Yellow have weird mechanics? Eh. It could be argued that they all do.

I'm hoping that they don't have an y of that going on- and it should just make them evolve. I'm also worried if they give it to the wrong pokes... That would be garbage.

But they should certainly give it to Druddigon. That thing should've been Dragon/Rock.

Yhea, Mega Mawile will be scary... ;_;

But, it will probably be durable enough to take at least two hits. But if worst comes to worse... Mega Lucario.

Blaziken.

I'm curious what some of the exclusives will play like. And I'm also loving PWT, as you predicted. Rotation battles are rewarding and fun!

I understand that these guys will become uber powerful (which may or may not be literal) but the stone is literally just an evolution stone, however the Pokemon is required to hold it. There are no added benefits aside from the evolution which transform them into some really powerful mons.

They transform into something with different stats, and probably an overall higher BST (like base speed 80 will become 90 or higher, hopefully not above 95 for Blaziken). I highly doubt it acts like Griseous Orb - It has been stated repeatedly that they act as evolution stones but are required to be held in battle, leaving them with no other items. Furthermore, it reverts after battle, meaning if you wanted to give it an item you'd give up the mega form.

I just think Blaziken's Mega is redundant.

Awww... That sucks. I hate heat. It's been awfully cool for my area in Canada. Probably the coolest summer in a while.

I also used to be a cynical.... man, but that changed.

I've made a friend who lives in Texas that revealed to me that he is sort of like a punk because there's no one around his neighbourhood that really cares about anything artistic. But, he told me if someone were to enter his house and they were to act like that, he'd look at them and say:

Trust me, I'm not as judgmental as I seem. To be frank there's quite a bit you don't know about me either. I come across as kind of old-fashioned, perhaps, or very teacher-like, but to be honest I'm not really that type of person.

It's pretty absurd. Have you heard/seen Dragons Crown? That game is getting a beating for it's character design. One of the girls is just ludicrous, like the worst I have ever seen in a game. I found about this from my sisters and some comic-artist who apparently was not exaggerating when he drew a character.

It's painful, tis.

No you're not a horrible person. Tons and tons of people do it, including developers. But I suppose it can be horrible. You know, objectifying people and always wanting to have sex with them.

Some of my favourite characters are complex girl characters BUT NOPE. CAN'T SEE THEM AS COMPLEX CHARACTERS GOTTA DRAW THEM IN BIKINIS OR SOMETHING THOUGH THEY'RE 14-16.

Well, it may have to do with it being a fan-favourite, and being sort of eh in Gen 4. But it already became uber powerful (literally) in Gen 5, so it doesn't need the boosts.

Yeah, true, but at least it won't hit AS HARD immediately, actually giving some pokemon like Jellicent a chance.

Also, I'd like to see some Mega Defensive Pokemon. :B

The stat raises are more specialized, but I don't think it will become as broken as people might say... So long as the already good pokemon don't get it.

Well again, you can only have on your team at once, it's temporary, and you have to have the required evolution stone for it. Otherwise... it won't work.

And not having items is pretty flawed.

But Mega Mawile actulally looks dangerous. It's defences increase and it gets huge power, WHICH IS LUCRIOUS. Adamant nature 590 attack, and it's got a good movepool. Just. WHAT

They could be running out of ideas. Or, they could repeat the same thing over and over, and still not have any ideas.

Actually have you looked into mega-evolution? Some of it's really flawed.

Mega Blaziken would need a base attack of 170 to match Life Orb Blaziken's power. It's likely it won't drop that high. Plus it cannot have any held items, furthermore only one can be on your team at a time.

I'm starting to see it not being broken. And like you I hated it at first, but I grew to accept it. It may be interesting.

Some will definitely be banned from competitive play though. Adaptability Lucario? Geez.

Hopefully they distribute it to Pokemon that actually need it though.

Yeah. But I think the one that takes the absolute cake is Garchomp. While some shineys are different, Garchomp's is painfully difficult to notice.

A) Are we talking about the rematch? Because if so, then my strongest pokemon was an EV trained Rhydon at level 66. I'm specifically talking about the rematch. I was too lazy to train.

B) The first couple of matches were quite easy, because I had Pignite for the first one and Haxorus is over-powered, and cuts right through sturdy and the like.

The hardest trainer in the entire game of Black 2 was Ghetsis and Shauntel, only because of Cofagrigus (my entire team consisted of physical attackers). Aside from that I had no trouble whatsoever.

I see. In that case it was just unclear.

Though that happens for a lot of RPGS, using many tracks in many places. There needs to be a general theme that plays in many locations. I think that every town should have it's own theme, which gen 5 did, and characters do need their own themes.

I know what I disliked about Black 2 is some characters just used generic battle themes, like your first encounter with Colress and the battle with Alder. That bothered me.

Like, battling Plasma was also quite repetitive. As cool as their theme is, it gets annoying when you fight boring Pokemon (Liepard, Watchog, etc), and it bothered me further when I fought Zinzolin FOUR times, and he didn't have his own unique theme. He was boring. *lazy voice* Go emboar duuu yer shutff... I did it

N is just a cool character in my opinion. I also did really enjoy battling Colress, though even for a nerd like me he was kinda tough.

You're not the only weird person here.

I know exactly what you mean but your word usage made it unclear.

"overused" doesn't make sense because then it would mean it is cliche or done a lot, so no, it does not bear the same meaning. I only question it because of word-usage, not because I didn't understand you.

I think what Pokemon needs is just a tad more thematic music, not so much "gamey" music. Like N's battle theme and the like.

Final Fantasy usually is high quality for art and such. I've never been into it really but I respect it.

But this is because I want to try and have some quality, not just "OH IT JUST SO HAPPENS I'M FIRE DER HURR".

At the same, I don't want to stretch it out so bad.

But you can decide whether or not you'll take it. Just keep it mind it won't be "answer 7 generic questions to see your type! Oh you're fire! You're hotheaded and get angry easily!" No, it's more like answer 10-15 questions, and if you were to get fire it would be different.

Mega Pokemon would storm through the story mode for sure, so it's not a problem.

Just in competitive play, though, that could be a serious problem.

And at the very least, they won't be as broken as people might make them out to be.

Look at Rampardos. It's attack is huge and for that reason alone people thought it would be uber. But... Nope.

You spelled it right.

It's perhaps one of the more interesting ones, for it's ability n' such.

But, after thinking about it, some mega evolutions could potentially come out as detrimental.

Like Mega Blaziken could be inferior to regular Life Orb Speed Boost Blaziken. Reason? Mega Blaziken specializes in attack, but for it to match Life Orb Blaziken's attack, it's attack would need to be a whopping 170, which is a bit too high of a stretch. It may be faster, sure, but it loses out on that attack. But who knows.

Also, if you didn't know, mega pokemon cannot hold items, since they need to hold their evolution stone, which the more I think about it the more I realize it's a potentially crippling flaw. NO MORE LIFE ORB AND FOCUS SASH FOR YOU
