I think they'll disappoint you and just tag it in there.

But then again, this is coming from someone who said that Sylveon couldn't possibly be a new type. And when it was, I was kinda happy. But of course, I'm still concerned how it'll all pan out.

Hopefully they rework it though - that'd be either awesome or a mixed bag. But as long as Fairy is invulnerable to Dragon and resists fighting and is super effective on both, I will be happy.

Dark types were perfectly fine in Gen 4 and 5, they don't need to be nerfed. Plus it would be unfair to Yveltal.

To be honest, although Ghost represents death in the PokeVerse, Yveltal and Xerneas are death and life, respectively. So, to make one superior over to another is both nonsensical and just stupid, even though arguably neither types represent that.

As long as Ice isn't weak to it and Fighting is weak to it. I highly doubt they'll rework all the types... But it could be potentially fantastic or bad.

Although, I find it strange that they'd release a type chart featuring fairy (unless it's just fairy alone), because by this point many kids know how it all works. Or I do.

If Fairy is life, then it would make sense for Ghost to be immune, because it's the middle of the two (arguably).

If the rumour did say Fighting was weak to Fairy... THAT'D BE AWESOME.

It's not a fabrication, it's garbage.

It's almost as if they throw out the previous plot for an entirely new one, and just remember some details that they might play with from previous ones. Like, is it that hard to just MAKE A NEW CHARACTER?!

And the animation is worse. Good grief. Like, the animation in the special is nothing really special but it still looks nicer. Couple that with a character we know who is a good trainer and someone who ACTUALLY MAKES IT TO THE TOP AND HAS AN ENDING.

Yes it is exactly like Naruto. Like... Why can't a new show just use the trainers from the upcoming games?

Besides, if they care more, they work harder, get more views, which equals more mular and reception which equals... just outright more mular.

Yesh, it has been. But I'm confused how Fairy will work with Dark... But it better be weak to Ice, Ghost, and Psychic, because if so then it would work perfectly with Dark. There could be good team synergy there, especially with the likes of Bisharp and others that resist Ice and ghost.

If it's weak to Fairy I will not be a happy camper. It has absolutely no reason to be powered up any more than it is.

JUST DON'T DO IT GAME FREAK. FIGHTING TYPES ARE THE REAL DANGER, YOU JUST HAVE A TENDENCY TO MAKE DRAGONS OVER-POWERED STAT-WISE.

Yeah Mawile will be dangerous now. :3 I honestly thought it should have sheer force rather than huge power because of it's vast movepool, but eh...

Watched the trailer for the new X/Y anime. I mean wow. It's the same thing. But of course, that's to be expected.

And yet people are complaining that Origins will be the same, which it very may well be, but it's still a refreshing change of pace. AND IT ENDS. GEEZ.

I think Pokemon could easily make an unbelievably fantastic show, and a fantastic kid's show at that. but they don't even use their own resources as effectively as they could...

I personally do quite like Groudon, but yeah... Some serious type disadvantage there.

How I see it, fairies should actually be weak to ice, seeing as how Fairies could be seen as life (stares at Xerneas) and Ice mostly kills life. But then there's that moon stuff going on which... There is ice on the moon... I don't know what to say about that. I just hope Fighting isn't super effective on Fairy because that would be silly considering it's already effective on... Steel, Ice, Dark, Rock and Normal. It does not need to be effective on a sixth type, considering it is only resisted by Poison, Ghost, Flying (which doesn't fully count since most of them are normal types), and Ghost. Oh yeah and Bug. But even then Fighting types are always equipped to deal with them.

At the very least neither should be effective on another.

That is kinda true. But it also depends on how the type plays out. It has been confirmed that fairies, while not weak to fire, are not very effective against fire. If Fennekin turns out to be Psychic and that also resists fire, then that is good too.

BTW I still think that, of all types Fairy should be weak to... Grass.

Or at least, not very effective on it.

Dark is perfectly fine - if anything Fighting should be nerfed. I hate fighting that type. Hahaha no pun intended.

I suppose. I will be honest when I say she is one of my favourite characters, but mainly because of some good friends I've made that aren't in person that have come and gone, especially recently. She reminds me of a particular person, but I'll be clear that it's not in a romantic sense.

I still find it odd though.

But I'll be honest, it's not like type advantages haven't happened before. Groudon/Kyogre Palkia/Dialga.

Oh, okay. Well, it's a sidequest where you pick up an Xtransceiver in Nimbasa city. Apparently a character named Yancy/Curtis (opposite gender of your character), call you, revealing it's theirs. As you go to other specific locations and call them they will take it back and add you to contact. You need to talk to them in specific locations to get dialogue. Once you progress enough you can get DW Pokemon, such as Spiritomb, Snorlax, and Mawile.

but apparently, as it progresses, the Yancy/Curtis grows "feelings" for your character. ._.

Since I'm a male I get Yancy. NOW I CAN GET SPIRITOMB

Yes - but simulators will find it harder pressed to do certain things, like how happiness may actually be more than powering up return/frustration and the like. Now it actually improves performance...

I would actually be surprised if Megas redefine tiers... Because that's a drastic change. But we'll see what happens - but I'm sure there will be many complaints. Yes, I'm well aware that Mawile is ridiculously powerful - and when I looked at it's movepool I saw the elemental punches and sucker punch... WOW. Ouch. That's crazy.

We still are unaware what Fairy is weak to. Maybe some types will completely wall it?

To me, Mawile is the most interesting out of the bunch, because it's going to be incredibly deadly and such.

but, at least it doesn't have access to focus sash or the like, but that's what team support is for.

I understand your viewpoint. I don't want them to be game breaking but some of them will definitely be over-powered and some of them won't be.

Mawile may be like Marowak in the sense that it's modestly durable and packs a crazy punch, but it has exploitable weaknesses. Also, 6 v 6 Mega battles are not possible because only one is allowed either per match or per team, as officially stated by the Japanese website (though they didn't specify if it included both teams or only one).

But, I do see what you mean, game modes... They should incorporate that.

They're making an anime based off of Red in Gen 1. Despite not being a Genwunner as they say I am happy for it no longer centers around Ash.

Fennekin learns Psybeam. IT MAY JUST MEAN

Also what is up with the Yancy/Curtis side quests? I stumbled into that when I was looking at TMs and I never thought anything like that would exist.

Personally it's a step in the right direction, even if it is only a special. I really wish they put more effort into the show because it's a cool world and all, plus if they put more money into it more would watch it and it would get better rep which equals more mular for them.

Largely because Red is the only character aside from "That trainer" that has clearly been established and is a reocurring character.

I mean, respect the higher quality (likely, as Red is a strong trainer), at least.
