Hey, my Pokemon have messed up EVs too. Then again, I'd probably have to choose a few Pokes I ditched on the way... I have a few here and there.

I think you get the VS. Seeker from the Subway, but I'm not entirely sure.

In my game I picked Carracosta. I was upset to learn that it was so unbelievably small, I thought it was Blasoise's height... Lowered the cool factor. I had it because Emboar, but I would've picked Archeops too if I could.

It's highly likely - after seeing how much damage Sylveon did I doubt there'll be an overhaul, which is okay... But I would like some pokes to have their attack stats lowered just a wee bit. I do want the pace slowed down so that not everything will one shot everything. Longer, more open ended battles are much more interesting than whoever gets the sweep boosts first.

it's a nice little distraction, but I don't see it being hugely necessary. It's fun to meddle around with a little.

Awww, that's cool.... I say awww because I want to battle you. I could attempt to give you my B2 code (as I didn't know there was such a thing) and maybe we could battle sometime. Just a thought.

I was meddling around with Pokestar Studios till four last night... Although I don't see it serving much purpose (why do they record money and yet I do not get paid?!?!?!?) But it's a fun little mini-game to play with.

I remember doing one where the objective of the script was to get knocked out, but when I did it again with my own Pokemon Braviary, it totally destroyed the opposition. The crowd was astonished - and I made a movie that had a surprise twist. It was a tragic twist, but it was funny. Also I like how in another one I made this Prince guy look like an idiot, I made him say:

"I"ll have to run by these Woobat and- (as opposed to taking them out or running), I'll use my POKEDEX"

Thus throwing the bad guy through a loop

"I'll make you my servant."

"But I'm rich!"

"W-what? I never said I wanted your money!"

Well, Archeops is a huge wrecking ball, and in the story mode you can get away with OHKOing a lot of things later on - so I suggest Archeops. Go with Carracosta if you want something not as OP. Plus with Archeops you get your flier, so you don't need to waste a slot on Mandibuzz, which is a pain to train.

Also, regarding X/Y damage reduction overhaul, I think it's largely unlikely as Politoed took some serious damage from just one of Sylveon's attacks. It's likely that it's staged.

I'm the opposite. I didn't like Black2 as much as Black, mostly for it's story. The gyms were also too short in Black 2, which upset me, and I hate how it all ended after I got all the gyms - that's annoying. I also disliked lower level count - that was eh. However, Reversal mountain in Black 2 has a superior theme. But I don't know about Opelucid city, Idon[t care for it in Black.

T_T Eh. Get a Krookodile.

So yeah, I'm the opposite. Sorry, I can't give you #2 or whatnot.

I'm well aware. Again, I said it was based on assumptions, taking into account the most likely stats. For instance, one top comment maxed out Politoed's special attack stat and and gave Sylveon a calm nature (or whatever boosts sp. def), 130 Sp. Def and 110 HP and it would have taken over 90%, potentially a OHKO.

I'm may not know much about these type of calculations but I'm well aware that there are things to be considered. Since you don't know, it is why I said you assume things and go with what seems reasonable - obviously Sylveon would not have survived were it's sp. def low, but it's HP looks a little lower as well, but it also doesn't look too weak as well.

It was mostly a joke, but if you were bored you could play around with the possibilities. It could also be Game Freak just making Sylveon look overpowered - both Pangoro and Sylveon lost half their HP and were hit by two criticals (although I can see it more with Pangoro's situation, it looks very bulky).

Other people have done some calculations based on assumptions. It's just figuring out what is the closest number to 51% with all those things in mind, I think. but, if you need other things involved, like type not mattering at all here (Fairy is not resistant to water).

Good! Now sir, do some calculations on one of the recent videos to show why Sylveon tanked a critical hit life orb and rain boosted hydro pump from Politoed and only took 51% of damage. It does not resist water.

I fought Cheren and won because my Azurill spammed Charm in B2. It was a good day.

In just two more days I can get my DW Sheer Force Mawile! And a day after that I can get DW Spiritomb (although I just never had a Spiritomb before so)...

Lenora was... Not too hard. Although I hate the fact Emboar only learns Arm Thrust upon level. They need to fix that.

Well it said on the official site it is raised. However, I still can see it not doing over half damage, but that's a little weird considering it's supposed to be a MEGA-GODLY-OVER-POWERED-MEGA FORM!

So it is bizarre to me.

I wouldn't mind an overall entirely, but... I can see why it would be a problem. I just do not like the insane pace of this gen. But, we'll see. At least it won't be as one-trick-pony gen, if it is so. There may be other things we are missing as well. so only time will tell.

6-7 painful weeks of waiting. I have to go back to school... for one more credit.

I suppose reducing the pace in half would be a bit much. Maybe 30% or 25%. I could very easily be eating my own words - but sweeps will be more rewarding, and tanks can actually tank. But there are still plenty of powerful Pokemon that will still dish out major hurt.

I don't know either. All I know is that I don't want the pace to be increased is all. Also, something to consider is that in one of the demo videos, Mega Mewtwo used Thunderbolt on Dragonite and it didn't even do half. If Mega Mewtwo's special attack is higher, much higher than say, Nidoking (with sheer force + life orb), why didn't it do Half? However Psyshock did KO it.

Something to consider. And I'm well aware Dragonite is not frail, but Mega Mewtwo's special attack is not slouchworthy either.

I don't have a Lapras, actually. I may accept the Lapras or Typhlosion - would you want them back at some point? I ask in case you want a way to get them into Gen 5.

Personally I think a slower metagame would be greatly appreciated. Like, not atrociously slow, but just slower so that not everything is One-hitting everything in the tier. It would also make more sense with things becoming Mega as having Megas may actually be more important than not as their power may actually serve quite a purpose. And having 590 attack may actually be very helpful. To be honest, I think slowing down the pace would actually make sense. Everything was too powerful in Gen 5 - like the ridiculous Conkeldurr and the like. Now, we might actually see less power creep... I'm all for that.

I just hope that really, really frail pokemon like Gengar don't survive Choice Band Earthquakes from Rampardos or something...

Also, regarding Sylveon:

For some odd reason, I would be overjoyed if moves dealt less damage, because Gen 5 was a bit too fast paced. Mega Evolutions may also be redundant as there are already a bunch of unstoppable sweepers. But, I highly doubt that. I want that, but I doubt it.

I'm assuming it's just that it's stats are distributed differently or that Politoed wasn't trained properly.

But I would love it if the pace was slowed down. I would cry in sheer joy.

Yeah, that's a big change... But hopefully they do more with the list than just add Fairy... But I doubt that. I don't want to hype it up and be proven wrong, though I did that with a new type overall...

Logic as in effectiveness. Like, I make my teams have this and that but I seldom consider actual weaknesses to the team, for instance I throw this poke because of it's stats but not how it correlates with the other team members.

Are you even allowed to do that? And I go back to school in September... Gah one month of painful waiting ;__;
