  1. there is a list of values that change in the shifting process on the first page of the thread i linked to in my previous post im not sure why it would whitescreen, you do realize that (if i remember right) all you do is drag and drop the pokemon you want onto the .exe file and the program will make a (orginal pokemon name)_shifted.pkm file in the same area that the original file is in
  2. the ARDSi instruction manual states that the ARDSi is completely incapable of running commercial roms, only homebrew
  3. there is a program here that can be used to simulate the effects of shifting from gen 4 to gen 5 it is in the second post on the second page
  4. i have had an m3 perfect lite for a couple years now and it has been working perfectly until recently. the cart boots fine in either mode but wont show the option to start a game. i was hoping someone may be able to help me figure out what's wrong. ps i have the newest firmware on it.
  5. I can't get this to load on my m3i zero (its gmp-z003 if that helps) i load the tool and it says "could not find dldi file" or something along those lines.
  6. your welcome, feel free to pm me if you have any problems with that method
  7. there is a hole above the pin that connects to the ds, i thread one end of the wire through the hole, then i just bend the other end till it connects to the save pin then i tape it down
  8. thank you for supplying images evandixon. i use this method because my cart broke open anyway and i dont have the money to buy an adapter plus. as a side note, i don't solder when using this method
  9. I have the exact same problem using the unofficial cheat db from gbatemp. i really want this problem resolved too
  10. I have an M3i zero and it is by far my favorite flashcart. a word of advice though, if you get one use sakura not touchpod. it has an odd method of flashing firmware but i like it because you don't need a ds to do it so you can still use the cart (once you have flashed new firmware to the cart) even if a firmware update blocks the cart without needing an un-updated ds or an older ds.
  11. there is another way using rudolphs tools. however it involves opening your ds cartridge. to do this you open the cartridge, then bridge the 6th pin from the right side of the card to the top left pin on the top left chip. when done properly this allows you to use any method to backup and restore your save file. i recommend using rudolph's wifi backup tool or and ARDSi when working with saves. in order to use the wifi backup tool you need a program called small ftpd. there are plenty of sites around with instructions on how to set up the small ftpd and the wifi backup tool. if you decide to use one of these methods and get confused PM me

  14. i have been trying to get a worms open warfare 2 (U) rom to work on my m3i zero but every time i try to use it it throws a save file format error even when i arm7 patch it. anyone have any ideas how to fix it? EDIT: figured it out, my firmware and system folder didn't match
  15. as far as i know, in the chained sync section, valid means that synchronize worked and the pokemon has the same nature as the syncher and invalid means that synchronize didnt work and the pokemon doesnt have the same nature as the syncher
