  1. Not likely. All games/systems have gotten better at preventing time-change shenanigans for quite some time. Such as noting if the clock is different, if being loaded on a different 3DS from the last time, etc.

Simply wait the two days. Your game isn't going to die or run away, and you can do other things while you wait. Like eat. or sleep. or whatever.

  2. As long as you are not making them not "legal" in the process, then the answer is obviously yes.

Of course, if you are going to edit it in X/Y, why waste time? Just make it in X/Y in the first place with your ORAS origin setup and then do whatever with it. There has never been anything special about which game it's in (other than if it has something that is not in the coding of a game).

  3. Obviously, that's what they are for. Like Victini's V-Generate, it was included for future use when they decided to do so. They may choose to never use them, just like the alternate form Floette. It's really entirely up to them whether or not they ever release them. If fans whine that they never get to use them despite being in-game data (like Arceus' Flute event in D/P/Pl), that's their own stupid fault for looking into the data, which they are not supposed to in the first place.

  4. Actually, that WonderCard is likely VERY widespread now. I can't believe none of you would be using personal Nintendo Zones? Since you can just streetpass TONS of people worldwide constantly every day, that Event should be well-spread all over the world already (I don't have my game yet, it'll be bundled with SmashWiiU-JP, so can't test; and my secondary wifi is being grumpy lately). Of course, if you don't actually get out and DO any of that easy streetpassing, yeah, cheating could your only way. >_>

But, a WC editor would be novel. Mostly useless (since you already can get whatever you want, and import the proper WonderCards), but novel.

As to all those Cyber Editor comments: Seriously, GIVE THEM SOME TIME. They supported Smash 3DS within several days, it really won't be long for OR/AS. You're not going to die from not hacking your game to pieces on DAY ONE. Why don't you try enjoying the game that you (I assume... [stupid Gateway and your blatant theft support]) paid for. Or did you really only buy it so you could just cheat in the newest game, story and whatnot be trash to you?

  5. If yours works when you do it, then it's probably fine. I doubt the save has anything to do with it, since the program isn't making any changes to the save itself at the time, and the save is an older pre-modding backup. Simply that when I click the "X" button to remove a Wonder Card ID from the "Received List" in Wonder Cards, it may crash.

In some tests I've done with it, it works fine (just now I did it successfully), so I'm not really sure what the problem itself is. Like I said, it's not really much of interest to me, since I don't really need to worry about that feature.

  6. ^_^; I doubt that'll fix it, I remember having this problem in past versions of PKHeX as well. Not a big one to me, since I can just reset my Y game and then it has a clean slate to work with. More of a nuisance to me, but possibly a problem for others, so i hope Kaphotics can fix this.
  7. Not a problem with loading them, with removing them. The game records which Mystery Gifts you've received, so you can't re-receive one even if you re-obtain the Wonder Card. The editor includes removing Wonder Cards from the list of those you've received, so you can re-receive them. But... it crashed as soon as I did.

  8. From my first looking at it, it does seem to be at least some of what I've been looking for. Thank you! (I just don't see why PP seems intent on not adding the files to the WonderCard page already) I'll have to watch that site and see if they keep up to date.

Huh, odd... a possible problem with PKHeX? When I tried to edit the "Received Card" list (removing one), the program crashed! Anyone else having this problem?

  9. Just because you edit something, doesn't necessarily mean it is RIGHT in the game. Just like how you have to deal with legal checks, in-game has specific set things too. Basically, if you want something you edit to be guaranteed no altered by any in-game check, you can't move it's location or use it at all. (naturally, that's only for things that might change, such as impossibly-set changeable-forms, stats that don't match what they are really, etc.)

Anyways, not all forms apply to everywhere. Just like Pokemon aren't meant to be Mega-evolved anytime outside of battle, certain forms have other restrictions (Arceus needs a Plate, Shaymin can't be in night or in the PC, etc)

That's common knowledge that you really should understand before you start to mess with data you're not meant to mess with in the first place (as well as a lot of other basics, really).

  10. To check legality, trade it online with your second game. Or a friends. Or whatever. If it trades, good, if not, bad.

Or just build it right the first time. If you do the research, it's perfectly obvious what a legal Pokemon will end up, since there are NO kind of things like "secret combos" or whatever. The rules are extremely simple and strict, so as to allow for so many possibilities.

  11. As I said, Facebook, PokeGen.

One of them you have to request to join. For both, if you want something, YOU make the Pokemon in PKHeX, make it properly Legal (don't expect anyone to do the work for you). Then, once you've made them, post a request linking the files. If someone is up to helping you, they will. If not, tough.

Notes: DO NOT accept someone's help who requires your Legends/Mega Stones/Events/etc. They ARE NOT trustworthy.

If you need help making the files, that is the real purpose of those groups in the first place. But remember, we don't do the work for you. We help you learn how to do it yourself.

  12. I've noticed that the Wondercard files for Gen VI are still not hosted, with this statement: "Files will not be hosted here until file editing becomes available."

Considering that PKHeX does exactly this, why isn't the Wondercard project moving forward as well? I can't believe I'm the only person who wants to get those Events that way.

I know many people can't use them as it is, since they don't have a Japanese game, but I don't really care about that, since the same applied in past generations with people who didn't have an Action Replay, price difference aside. Also, those could then be more easily used to start the design of that Pokemon as a file then given to someone who could Gen them for that person.
