  1. The Aurora Ticket was NEVER distributed for Emerald, not even in Japan. Shocking, I know.
  2. Plus his tool would allow for the creation of custom Wonder Cards, such as the unused Trainer Battles.
  3. Nope. They were from carts that loaded them into your party (like AURA Mew).
  4. The "Absolutely no idea" check box is so you can reset your in-game clock. Handy if you replaced your battery.
  5. We could always see how many times the e-Reader Eon Ticket can be shared.
  6. Easiest way will be lostaddict's tool, whenever he gets the time to release it. Plus it'll also let you create Wonder Cards.
  7. I just thought of something. Since the Wonder Card program is almost done, would it be possible to create a DS homebrew version that injects Wonder Cards through Slot 2? It'd solve the problem with the lack of a GBA distro ROM better than the Share function AND make the injection process feel more like an actual event (similar to the former PCNY's Gotta Catch 'Em All Station or the DS Download Play events Japan had toward the end of Gen 3). It's just an idea I had after remembering that DS homebrew version of Pokesav.
  8. So did the person with the US Aurora Ticket distribution cart try downloading it to English Emerald? Just wondering for the sake of completeness.
  9. Since nothing else is going on, I'll repost the updated tutorial for Takasan's Japanese tools since it's been long enough. Just to note, the R/S tool ONLY injects the Eon Ticket. 1. Get AppLocale if you're not on Japanese Windows and point it to the location of the tool you want to use. You will NEED this for the Japanese text to show up properly. 2. Go on someplace like Bulbapedia to get the Japanese name for the ticket you want then select it. If you just replaced your R/S/E battery and want to reset your clock, click the box to make a checkmark appear. 3. Drag your Japanese save over the window. It will generate a .dat file matching your save's name. 4. Change the file extension to .sav and load it onto your cart or emulator.
  10. Good to know. I just don't want anyone I share Trainer Wonder Cards with to be confused at the mention of passwords that are useless. In fact, I normally don't care about unused events, but I'm making an exception for these Trainer Wonder Cards since they're the same as the e-Reader Trainers for R/S (IE, a "for fun" thing that won't affect anything major).
  11. Will the tool support editing what the Delivery Man says? Since we can't use the password system for the Trainer Event, I want to change the text to something that'll make more sense, like this: Thank you for using the MYSTERY GIFT System. A TRAINER has arrived in the SEVII ISLANDS looking for you. We hope you will enjoy battling the visiting TRAINER. You may invite other TRAINERS by downloading other BATTLE WONDER CARDS.
  12. An all-in-one Gen 3 event tool with support for all six languages would be amazing. But for now, I think e-Reader should have its own tool.
  13. That's understandable. The reason I'm so focused on the e-Reader is because it's the only distribution device we have for Gen 3 that's not a GameCube disc (plus the use it has in other games).
  14. Sounds good either way! But hopefully the e-Reader can be involved as well once we get to that point.
  15. So does this mean we could make English e-Reader compatible dot codes that can send the Eon Ticket, Trainers and Enigma Berries to all the R/S versions AND Japanese Emerald? If so, that'll be AMAZING.
  16. At least Emerald doesn't have a version 1.1 (to my knowledge, anyway). Also I can test Egg and Altering Cave Wonder Card sharing between FRLG 1.0 and 1.1. My FR is 1.0 while my LG is 1.1.
  17. This won't be an issue when sharing a Wonder Card from FRLG 1.0 with FRLG 1.1, right?
  18. I didn't think the ROM version mattered when working with sav files directly.
  19. I didn't see anything about it posted here, but I just found out Mixing Records in R/S/E is also language locked.
  20. Hey @lostaddict. I was poking around on YouTube, I found Ric Redfield made a custom sharable Wonder Card for Emerald that distributes the Regi Dolls. Any chance you could add those to your tool? Video: [video=youtube;hhJnZ8PiPJg]
  21. Great news! Not only did my Japanese Emerald come in, so did my Card e-Reader+!
  22. Good to know! Ooooh, THAT sounds handy if you replaced the battery on your cart! Yeah... he needs to re-upload and exclude the ROMs and BIOS files.
  23. I posted this in the Discord chat, but I'll post it here as well. I went ahead and started a save on a Japanese Emerald ROM to prep for when my cart gets in. Since I have a GBA flash cart, I also wanted to see if Wonder Card sharing is language locked. It is, to the point that the games won't even detect each other. I also gave Takasan's PEe.exe tool a try and I'm confused by the checkmark option. It doesn't seem to do anything. EDIT: Tutorial for Takasan's Ticket tools (based off Ticket PEe). 1. Get AppLocale and point it to the tool location. You will NEED this for the Japanese text to show up properly. 2. Go on someplace like Bulbapedia to get the Japanese name for the ticket you want then select it. 3. Drag your Japanese Emerald save over the Ticket PEe window. It will generate a .dat file matching your save's name. 4. Change the file extension to .sav and load it onto your cart or emulator. Also, the archive links for the tools are down.
  24. I think now would be a good time to mention that in addition to custom Mystery Gifts, I can ALSO test custom Mystery Events via e-Reader. I've had a printer than can print dot codes since August. So far I'm limited to English e-Reader, but last week I won a Japanese Card e-Reader+ from an eBay seller in Japan so that should be here in a few weeks. I'd mention this in Team Fail's e-Reader thread, but it's dead at the moment. Speaking of e-Reader, since so many Japanese cards have been converted for use with English games (Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3) or just made from scratch (these custom dual-region Mod Cards for Mega Man Battle Network 4-6), I feel someone should convert the Eon Ticket card to Japanese. I know there are Takasan's tools, but still. EDIT: Yesterday I ordered a Japanese copy of Emerald from an eBay seller here in the US (that also put in a new battery as well!). I expect that'll be here at the end of the week so I'll be able to test custom Japanese Wonder Cards soon.
  25. In the Netherlands, Hoopa will be distributed at Firstlook Festival on October 10 and 11. Nintendo Netherlands Firstlook Announcements
