Does anybody know which method to use for pokemon that are transferred to DPPT from Gen 3 games via pal park?

I'm trying to hack a Blissey that knows Wish, does anybody know the Met at/OT details? Are there any natures that are impossible to have on it? Which PID generation method do I use?

This question is about what I need to fill in for the "Met" tab in Pokegen. Pokemon met at the "DayCareCouple" in HG/SS: Will this show up in DPPT games? or will everything say "Faraway Place"? Pokemon Caught/Egg Received in DPPT, but put in HGSS: Do I need to put "Sinnoh" anywhere? Or can I just put DayCareCouple and hatched in Solaceon town?

A regular hidden power IV finder would be a waste of programming time. We have Google for that. What Pokegen really needs is the option to select the desired hidden power type and power, and limit the PID/IV search to the specified hidden power type and power. It's really a pain to have to manually enter known hidden power IV combinations in every time the PID finder can't find anything.

I'm not that great at Pokegen (I still cant figure out a quick way to make that Celebi I posted about 1 page back), but I think I can make you a Skarmory. Could you post the form again?

Actually in the 4 day span that nobody replied I got it to work myself.

I am using pokegen. The thing is that it only checks things about .01% at a time and it goes very slow. I was sorta just wondering if anybody already knew a valid IV spread for this Pokemon.

I've been working on trying to get a Legal Celebi for a while now, I spent like 2 hours on google last night trying to figure this out. Basically the reason that this is so difficult is that I'm trying to get the PIDs to be legit with the nature and hidden power that I want. Bold Nature HP Fire (as powerful as possible) IVs (as high as possible, this is going to be a physical tank Celebi) I've been using the (B-A-C-D)® method, which I hear is the correct one to use for Pal-Parked even pokemon like this (I've been working on a 10ANIV Celebi, as I don't really know how to make the other types that were only available in Japan). Can somebody help with this?

I'm using 3.0b, so all one of the boxes says is "Pokemon" I'm like wtf does that mean? That I've seen the pokemon?

This is probably a dumb question, but which PID generation method should I be using? I've been using the default one (A-B-C-D) for all my pokemon and now my OCD is telling me that I probably did something wrong and I should remake all my pokemon 0.0; I guess this is a related question, but what about Pal-Parked event pokemon, like 10ANIV Celebi? Which PID method should I be using for it?

Alright, I got it to work, I thought by changing the settings it would automatically change the dragonite I already had made, but I found out I had to delete him and mess with the show in controls thingy. Sorry for the hassle, it was no fault of your program. But, um, while I'm here, how would I make a Celebi and a Heatran look legit for HG/SS?

Hi, I'm trying to edit a Dragonite for my SS version, and everything seems to be fine except that where it should say "Day Care Couple". Instead it says "--------------" So it looks like this: Naive nature. Aug. 1, 2010 -------------- Egg Obtained. Aug. 1, 2010 Goldenrod City Egg hatched. Mischievious. Any reasons why this might be happening?

Every time I try to connect the dang device to my PC it says "waiting for Action Replay card." I really, really don't want to type in 30+ lines of code every time I want to use pokegen (and this is just for 1 pokemon!). The computer recognizes the device and makes a sound when it it plugged in, and I even tried running the program as an administrator. Please help!

I would really like somebody to Pokesav a Heatran for me, or tell me how to make a legal one for HG version. I'm trying to make the following Heatran, but I'm confused as to how to make it appear as if it was legitimately obtained in a link trade from a D/P/PT player who legitimately caught it in their game. Heatran @ Choice Scarf Naive, 252 Sp. Atk., 252 Speed, 4 Sp. Def. IVs: As high as possible without compromising speed or sp. atk at all Fire Blast Earth Power Explosion HP Electric (Preferred) or Dragon Pulse What's confusing me is if I still need to put my own trainer ID/Secret ID, or is it as simple as saying it was met at stark mountain at the appropriate level, and just putting in a random trainer ID and OT name? Alternatively, you can 'SAV me one of these puppies, but I would much appreciate being taught to do it myself. Thanks so much for reading. Here's my HG FC: 1591 9116 3904

Noob post #1209786781204153 Alright, here's my problem. I want to get from Point A, which is where I am right now (DS, HG version, ARDS, minimal knowledge of pokesav that is mostly limited to about 2 hours of forum browsing and 3 youtube videos) to Point B, which is where I can accomplish what I set out to do. That is, being able to create and edit Pokemon for my HG version, using my ARDS, and do a good job at that. That's not all. On my way to Point B, I also need to learn how to accomplish the feat (or at least people make it seem like a feat) of creating and editing Legendary Pokemon like Suicune, as well as Pokemon such as Heatran, Celebi, and Rotom who cannot be obtained in HG version. I need to make these guys look legit. Alright, here's what I understand so far: -I need to obtain my SID using Action Replay -I need to have the game knowledge to create legitimate pokemon (ie no WonderTomb, Hatched pokemon in anything other than a Pokeball, etc) Not much, eh? I still don't know WTF these HexaDecimal thingies are, I still don't know how to make a pokemon like Heatran for my HG version and make it look legit (it seems a lot more complicated than making say a random Salamence that I "hatched"). To be honest, I haven't even attempted a hack yet out of fear that I might mess something up and corrupt my HG save file, or just make a really bad hackjob. So this is where there very helpful people of this board come in. I'm lost. I have no direction. I like to say redundant things. I'm begging you all (and I won't stop until I learn how to do this!).
