  1. Thank you for the very prompt service. I will give them a try. Edit... Spiritomb and Sableye? I put them in Box 18 Slots 1 and 2 by adjusting the addresses
  2. I would like a Ditto similar to the Lv 10 Dittos you can find outside Goldenrod in HG/SS, but a Japanese one, traded from the Japanese version of the game. I would like it as an AR code. Beeing a Noob as far as Pokemon breeding is concerned I will take whatever is easiest. I did some searching on the forum for one, however, I lost interest after wading through about half this topic. Do you need me to fill in the standard form (though I have no idea what I would put in some of the areas)? Is this possible? Thanks (hopefully!!)
  3. It is for the US and EU version of HG and SS. This is aimed at people who have missed out on an event route and don't want to cheat by unlocking all routes. All 27 routes results in a (binary) string of five "0"s and 27 "1"s 00000111111111111111111111111111 which is equal to (hex) 07FFFFFF for the fourth line 0000E71C 07FFFFFF On my HG I have the first 8 routes unlocked and also WInner's Path which would give 00000010000000000000000011111111 which is equal to 020000FF for a fourth line of 0000E71C 020000FF I just wanted to add Yellow Forest to that which would result in 00000010010000000000000011111111 which is equal to 024000FF To give the fourth line that I needed of 0000E71C 024000FF Using that fourth line in the code, I go into the game press Select to activate the code. Save and start again and go to the Pokewalker and I now have Yellow Forest in my routes.
  4. Routes 1 to 27 ("1"s right to left) Refreshing Field Noisy Forest Rugged Road Beautiful Beach Suburban Area Dim Cave Blue Lake Town Outskirts Hoenn Field Warm Beach Volcano Path Treehouse Scary Cave Sinnoh Field Icy Mountain Rd Big Forest White Lake Stormy Beach Resort Quiet Cave Beyond the Sea Night Sky's Edge Yellow Forest Rally Sightseeing Winner's Path Amity Meadow Sorry on PS3 so limited buffer so 2 posts.
  5. Just bought an ARDSi, which gives the facility to add/edit codes directly on the DSi which is better than my ARDS. Uses modded code for all routes, which gives a total of 27. The important line of the code... 94000130 FFFB0000 B2111880 00000000 2000E71C 000000FF 0000E71C 07FFFFFF D2000000 00000000 is the 4th one. The routes are signified by 07FFFFFF which is actually 5 zeroes and 27 ones (each one for a route). Winner's Path is the 2nd "1" from the left and Yellow Forest is the 5th. The first course you unlock would be the 27th "1" from the left (if that makes sense). If you had 9 Routes (Refreshing Field to Hoenn Field) your code (with those two gift Routes) would be (zeros and ones) 0000 0010 0100 0000 0000 0001 1111 1111 (binary). the first 5 "0"s to the left being constant. Convert this to Hex as 024001FF which would replace 07FFFFFF above in line 4. If you can't figure out what you want in addition to your existing routes, post here and I am sure someone will be able to give you the code you want
  6. Having got a little "handy" with an AR, I had a fresh start on HG and took the steps to enable me to have all three starters which hopefully will be useful later on (I am up to fighting the Elite 4 next... after some levelling). This will be by first time with Chikorota (the genuine stater in my game).
  7. Well, that Arceus code produced a different Arceus to the one produced from the code at the start of the US Codes topic. This was not a Japanese one
  8. My favourite is "Peggy Babcock" which looks innocent enough!.
  9. Thanks, on trying the two Mew code I noticed one was the one from the Ranch. Now I need some heartscales so I can reinstate the "Psychic" move. Being a "legit" Pokemon I would rather like it for my legendary captures in Soul Silver and that is my preferred fourth move.
  10. Here is my modded Pokemon encounter code. Level and National Dex number are set separately and will only affect the quantity of the first item and first Pokeball. No item gets changed.
  11. Not sure how dumb this question is but still... I used the Battle Any Pokemon Codes (well my modded version which gives the flexibility of changing the Pokemon and Level independently). to generate a Mew (I wanted to create one that would mirror the one from Pokemon Ranch which I have no intention of purchasing). I used the Move Tutor and a TM to create exactly what I wanted. I also used the Shiny AR code (never having actually seen a Shiny) and wondered how valid the resulting Pokemon was. I encountered it at Lvl 5 and using the Battle Any Pokemon code (and initially Exp Share) I levelled it to Lv 50 (like the one from Ranch). For the AR code which Pokemon gives the best exp and is weak to Psychic? It is the ideal legendary catcher as it has False Swipe ™, Block (Move Tutor at the Battle Frontier) and Hypnosis (which is maybe not the best sleep spell but at least it mirrors the one from Ranch). The fourth move it has is Psychic (most powerful move it levelled up into).
  12. I found this AR code with a Google Search if that is any help Secret ID Finder (Start+Select) Changes Money into SID 94000130 fff30000 b2111880 00000000 da000000 00000086 d6000000 00000088 d2000000 00000000
  13. Admittedly I have not tried this code, but the HG AR codes that I have put into SS seem to work fine. I presume you picked up the original set of SS codes from Codejunkies or similar before adding the new codes you wanted?
  14. I can't get the guy in the Fan Club in Vermillion to hand over the Lost Item. Did I need to do it before beating Misty? If so is there a way around the problem? Edit... Sorted... I talked to Copycat first (doh!)
  15. I tried the Prof Elm code and just got the Pokemon that was in my first slot (I just cut and pasted the code so no typos) I used this code to make a Lvl 5 Chikorita spawn. Took a while to get a female. If you miss it, it will keep spawning until you change areas or go into a building. Save and reload with no codes immediately after catching one or more is safest.

    Hey

    Welcome to the forum.
  17. I found the answer to my question (or at least a code) at the Neoseeker Forums. 50,000 Coins (Heartgold US and EU) 94000130 fffb0000 62111880 00000000 b2111880 00000000 10000094 0000c350 d2000000 00000000 That code works by pressing Select. If you prefer the L+R approach the first line should read... 94000130 fcff0000 If you do want to play some Voltorb Flip for Coins but want your Porygon now adjust the fourth line to give 9999 coins... 10000094 0000270f At least I was on the right lines with the 1 (first digit) type code. Just a little off with the offset location when I was playing around (it was 0094 rather than the 8f8 I was trying). The number of coins is presumably not held in the bag (can't win them all I suppose). I presume the code will also work with Soulsilver.
  18. I think there may be a difference of hex 10 between the EU and US offsets, but it is the EU version of the game that I have so I can confirm the potential offset difference if need be.. I am trying to give myself 9999 coins. I went through the aggravation of getting the number required for the Dratini but have no desire to get 9999 for the Porygon. My intention is to do a halfword code to (I presume) put the number of coins in the relevant slot that contains the Coin Case. Or has someone already done a code for the Coin Case?
  19. Yes, thanks. I usually try to evolve Pokemon as soon as they are able. Working on Eevees at the moment having got all the stones required for the last three. My newly hatched Eevee went to Vaporeon at Lv 1. So far Umbreon is my favourite (mine is currently Lv 37), Back to the (dreaded?) Safari Zone. Whether visiting in the middle of the night had any bearing on the fact that I had my best run there ever I don't know, but this morning things were well and truly "business as usual" i.e abyssmal catch rates. Is there any possiblilty that time of day has an effect on catch rates (for those Pokemon that can appear at any time? I abandoned my run through (saved just before entering, having sorted the areas I wanted). I will revisit tonight to see if it does make any difference at all... unless anyone knows any better of course.
  20. The nice thing about Disgaea is that you can go back to it and play for a few minutes or a few (???) hours. The story can be taken in small or large chunks. I think my favourite character has to be Etna. There is some superb interaction between her and the other characters. I think I may be returning to the DS version before too long. I really ought to see about getting some high level characters in that version.

    Hey

Hello and welcome (I'm new too). I like messing around with AR codes (using existing ones) to the extent that I try to write codes for specific items in my bag. I am not sure I completely trust codes that instantly fill the bag. I would rather just work with the slots I currently have and adjust when needed.
  22. Thanks for that. Strangely the Lv 40 plus "specials" that are enticed by the objects (so far) are pretty mcuh a guaranteed capture. I got two Houndooms, each with the first ball (one for SS). Same with some Ponytas. I now have a bookmark set on the Safari Zone Guide at Gamefaqs for my future Pokemon collecting. Also useful as to what Pokemon I need to find in my GBA cartidges to fill in the gaps. I presume some people may prefer a Lv 42 Ponyta as opposed to a pre-evolution level one. Is there any advantage in holding back on Pokemon Evolution in terms of stats?
  23. Strangely the DS version of the game was the most "complete". You gained the ability to have Pleinair as a playable character and also gained the Prinny Commentary. I think you lost out on some of the voice acting though. That is what I like about the games... the humour.
  24. I have been a huge fan of these games since I bought the original as a US import for the PS2. I even bought the Japanese version of the second game just so that I could play it "early". I usually have to buy the American releases due to a reluctance of UK versions appearing. I put in ridiculous hours on the first game (over 800 hours) between the PS2 version, PSP version and DS version and have completed the story on PS2 and PSP. I completed the story on the Japanese version of the second game and only competed the English language story on the PSP (I do have the US PS2 version as well) when it was released on that. The third game arrived on PS3 and I got to the stage where I could gain ridiculous numbers of levels in a very short time. The maximum character level is 9999 but you can redo the character from Lv 1 with enhanced stats. I maxxed out a mage with the maximum number of stored levels (over 170,000... hence the enhanced stats).
