  1. You're weak to both offense and stall. Sword Dance Lucario, Dragon Dance Salamence, Dragon Dance Gyarados, Sword Dance Scizor, as well as some other things. Sword Dance Lucario (Which has many safe chances to Sword Dance up agiasst your team) 1HKO's Scizor and Machamp after Sword Dance (Actually with Adamant and Life Orb it should be able to deal around 75-85%ish on them with Close Combat if I remember correctly. Extremspeed 1HKO's Jolteon after Sword Dance, and does about enough to 1HKO Latias after Stealth Rock. of course Choice Scarf Heatran can revenge kill it, but this is unreliable. Dragon Dance Salamence outspeeds and 1HKO's Machamp, Latias, Aerodactly, and Jolteon with Outrage (only Machamp is spaired by the Dragon Claw Salamences, but does not hinder it enough aside from Dynamic Punch confusion) Earthquake 1HKO's Jolteon, Heatran, and severly damages Machamp and Scizor. * will re-edit this post to explain why you're weak to Gyarados and Scizor* Stall easily blocks your chances of winning. You have 3 Choice locked pokes which requires good prediction, and can easily be beat with Stealth Rock and Spikes (which against so many Choice and one sides attackers can be easier to set up) Rotom-A, Gliscor, Blissey, Skarmory, Swampert, Zapdos, and Suicune annoy your team. Rotom-A can switch into Jolteon, and Scizor quite easily and spread Will-O-Wisp. You do have Heatran, Latias and RestTalk Machamp, but the problem is the things that are commonly used with Rotom-A. Gliscor beats Scizor, Mahcamp, Heatran, and Jolteon in most cases. (Hidden Power-Ice 1HKO's it, but this is risky or sometimes predicted and can backfire) It also may use Toxic which shuts down Latias. Blissey walls Heatran, Jolteon, and Latias. It also gets Thunderwave to shut down some tihngs, and often Protects or switches out of Heatran's Explosion. Skamory or Forretress spread Spikes and annoy Latias and Scizor. Swampert annoys Jolteon and Heatran and has Roar to phaze away Latias. Zapdos may not seem like a pracitcal threat or poke, but its Toxic screws Latias, and Jolteon, and it can Substitute + Rost to beat Scizor, Machamp and Heatran. Now I normally would give suggestions for what I would recommend, but am too lazy atm x.x The others advice is good. If you're using Gyarados, use Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Ice Fang and Earthquake on it. Ice Fang beats Latias (I think it always needs Life Orb, but maybe with just Stealth Rock) after Dragon Dance and is much more accurate way to KO Salamence. Well I don't recommend Ice Fang over Stone Edge, but want to point out it can be useful.
  2. Interesting... I myself do not know anything about a 2 poke team, but I tell us the results of this battle.
  3. Yeah. Although Thunderwave is better on this team. See Thunderwave slows down other things which means that your Dragons can out speed more things. Btw on Latios... You should also consider Hidden Power-Fire. A great way to deal with Scizor, Forretress, and harm Metagross and Skamory.
  4. This is a completely serious team... I have won so many battles with this in Uber. Hm... Ice pokemon are almost never used in any tiers aside form NU, so finding one in Ubers is extremely rare. The Cleffs Magic Guard ability allow them to not get harmed by any non direct damage (Stealth Rock, Hail, Life Orb etc) which means that their Focus Sash will not be broken. Endeavor makes the posing poke have the same HP as Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable (in this case 12, 12 and 12) who get KO'd after Hail . Hm.. I added Stealth Rock so that things like Kyogre cannot change the weather, survive Endeavor and switch back out. Also Bullet Punch Scizor is here to not only take out some dragons, but it also has Bullet Punch priority. I added Wobbuffet to beat Groundon and some Kyogre. Thunderwave helps to abuse the Leech Seed and Substitute Abomasnow, and it also allows me to paralize Giritina-O, who is immune to Endeavor due to its Ghost typing, and slowly shut it down. [sPRITE]460[/sPRITE] Abomasnow (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Snow Warning EVs: 252 HP/4 Spd/252 SDef Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Blizzard - Leech Seed - Substitute - Protect --- [sPRITE]173[/sPRITE] Cleffa (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Magic Guard EVs: 4 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Endeavor - Encore - Protect - Thunder Wave --- [sPRITE]212[/sPRITE] Scizor (M) @ Choice Band Ability: Technician EVs: 76 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd/176 SDef Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Bullet Punch - U-turn - Superpower - Pursuit --- [sPRITE]035[/sPRITE] Clefairy (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Magic Guard EVs: 4 Spd/176 SDef Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Endeavor - Healing Wish - Protect --- [sPRITE]036[/sPRITE] Clefable (M) @ Focus Sash Ability: Magic Guard EVs: Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def) - Encore - Endeavor - Stealth Rock - Protect --- [sPRITE]202[/sPRITE] Wobbuffet (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Shadow Tag EVs: 28 HP/228 Def/252 SDef Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Counter - Tickle - Mirror Coat - Encore ---
  5. Bobtheedibleone, I suggest that you use Substitute, Focus Punch, Double Edge and Fire Punch Blissey. Substitute allows you to be immune to status moves, two Seismic Tosses from Blissy, and also not have it be broken by the likes of Vaporeon, Latias, Jolteon, Rotom-A, Suicune... lol the list of Speical Attackers go on. I also suggest that you use Ingrain on the first Smearlge over Knock Off and Ingrain on the third Smeargle over Double Team.
  6. I don't know why it works, I have used Dragonite, which ended up being a better Dragon Dance sweeper then Salamence. Use err Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Outrage, and Earthquake with Adamant and Lum Berry Dragonite... See Dragonite can 2HKO everything after Dragon Dance, assuming that it is neutral in damage. It also has the bulk to survive Ice Beams from Swampert, Blissey and Cresselia like a beast, which means that it gets to Dragon Dance, and but be interrupted with a 1HKO or Status due to Lum Berry. Which means that it gets that 2HKO after Dragon Dance or 1HKO after two Dragon Dances. Also offensive pokes can 1HKO Dragonite, however they are 1HKO'd after Dragon Dance in most cases. And after it is done Dragon Dancing, if it still has Lum Berry you can continue to sweep =} See Salamence can attack things very powerfully, but it does not KO everything after Dragon Dance without Life Orb. Meaning that it is status weak, and can also be severely damaged by many attacks. Hm.. In theory, a Dragonite is beaten by offensive pokes, but can beat all of the offensive pokes after it used Dragon Dance... and can beat most walls due to bulk and a Status resistant... Lol I don't know. Use Dragonite!
  7. Hm... I suggest Surf on Latios as Thunder is innaccurate. Maye make Dragonite a Special Wall?
  8. Hm... Well first of all, I wouldn't recommend that you use Stone Edge on a Salamence. Outrage or Fire Blast are still better options on a lead because a +1 Outrage allows you to 2HKO almost everything, and Fire Blast still allows you to 2HKO KO all steels which take less from Earthquake. The Focus Sash and Outrage idea worked in Ubers with Rayquaza, and this should work because most things would be out sped and KO'd after Dragon Dance. And things that it originally cannot 1HKO even with a +1 Life Orb, it can 2HKO and if you're lucky continue to rampage about. This is somewhat in theory, however. As for best Physical Sweeper... Perhaps Tyranitar because of it's bulk, strong STABS, and attack coverage. But then again, it all depends on your needs and what your team is. Infernape, Gyarados, Tyranitar, Salamence, Scizor, Metagross, and Rhyperior are all epic sweepers, but it depends on the team in which they are used in. Anyways, I hope this has helped somehow.
  9. Moves with the same effect as Hyper Beam almost always tend to suck, and should not be used. They hit hard, but allow someone to set up while your Pokemon is immobilized, which can mean losing the game. If you're using anything with Reflect and Light Screen(these moves together are labeled as Dual Screen), I strongly recommend that you use Light Clay as an item. Light Clay increases the turns that the screens are up from 5 to 8. Meganium likes Reflect, Light Screen, Synthesis and Aromatherapy. Aromatherapy fits in perfectly as most Dual Screen teams are offensively used, and often status weak. You have no reason to use Relaxed, as it's not using a mixed attack set. Jolly, Timid, Bold, Calm, Careful, or Impish on the set I recommended. Also, Empoleon doesn't learn Air Slash. Hydro Cannon and Flash Cannon suck on it. Use Surf and Grass Knot instead. Use Modest on it,unless you're using it with Trick Room. It's also not a special wall, just has high Hp and Special Defense. A special wall set has Calm with Surf, Stealth Rock/Roar/Yawn, Ice Beam/Grass knot, and Roar/Yawn.
  10. Overpower, High Class, etc become somewhat annoying, although I do like the idea. I agree with the S/A/B/C. Although there could end up being 5 tiers.
  11. Hm. Swampert's EV spread is interesting. I would have used 108 HP, 252 Defense, and 148 Special Defense, but if that set works for you, that's cool. But anyways. I have yet to see that Weavile in action, so I cannot judge it for myself. Gyarados is a great physical sweeper that also helps counter Weavile's weaknesses of Infernape, and Scizor. Jolteon is great on the team! Sadly Brelooom can be a problem for you, but then again many teams are weak to it. I can't help but to feel that you're team is a little bit weak to Stall. Calm Mind Jirachi can beat your team. I recommend that you use Gliscor over Azelf in order to counter stall as well as the Lucario Tyranitar and Jirachi which threaten your team. It's somewhat hard to rate it... It looks healthy enough, but because I helped you build it makes me unsure of what to say
  12. Hm... Well Life Orb teams are always fun. An offensively based team needs Stealth Rock, which you not only do not have but 4/6 of your pokes are weak to it. Just simply switching in causes 25% of damage to Honchkrow, Dragonite, Arcanine and Froslass... Along with Life Orb damage and the common Sandstorm from Tyranitar (which btw Choice Scarfed Tyranitar can rip through your team. You're also weak to many of the common threats: Scizor, Heatran, Tyranitar, Lucario, Gyarados, and Salamence. I think you should add a Gliscor, it can not only stop stall with Taunt in most cases, but it also beats Scizor, Tyranitar, and Lucario. Your team is also somewhat weak to Ice. Not only that you need to add some bulk to your team. Offensive Calm Mind Suicune could be used. It's a great sweeper and resists Water and Ice type attacks. If that doesn't interest you, maybe you should use an Agility sweeper Empoleon. I would recommend that you take out Arcanine, Froslass and Nidoking.
  13. o. o But all I did was post a website link... But um... Glad to help! If you need anything else ask me. I am used to making random junk work perfectly in a team.
  14. Hm. Interesting. You're team is stall weak first of all. Everyone of your Pokemon is effected by Toxic Spikes, and Spikes. All of which can easily cause your whole team to fall down... Which is perfect as you're team is weak to almost all of mine You also are offense weak.. You have nothing that can stop a Dragon Dance Salamence, Tyranitar, some Infernapes, Lucario... Maybe I should list what you're not weak to lol Errr... I don't know how to edit teams, but rebuild... I'll help you rebuild one later OK
  15. Ah. There is Trick Room, Choice, Hail, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Sandstorm(it's not just a Tyranitar, Gliscor and Steels/Grounds), Gravity... They are somewhat rarely used nowadays.
  16. That's usable, but Trick Room teams are hard to use. And also you should use -speed natures such as Brave, Quiet, etc
  17. It's about enjoying the game. If you're having fun ... then it doesn't matter if you've got a great team or not. Maybe I could either help you build a strong team or give you one of mine.
  18. Err. First of all Garchomp is considered to be an Uber, thus banned from Standard Play... Swap it for something else. Gallade is cool but maybe you should change your set. Thunderbolt has it's uses but lacks power. If you're using it as a lead maybe you could add Close Combat, Destiny Bond, Shadow Sneak... Counter could be used... but I am not too sure. And a Focus Sash to beat whatever. Kabutops is awesome but for your set you should use it in Rain Dance, and also Blizzard should not be used on it due to low accuracy. uses and because Blizzared should only be used in a Hail team in general. I recommend that you give it Sword Dance over Blizzard, and then swap out Kabutops if possible. Rampardos... is fragile although it has large HP and this makes you defensivly unstable. Flamethrower, Thunderbolt or anything that's a Special Attack should never be used on Rampardos. You could use Choice Scarf on it with Superpower and Fire Punch for the new moves. It's a funky Porygon-Z set but it also weakens you team... and you don't need Signa Beam... Also Trick Room is bizarre on it... Sorry that I cannot help you complete your team T.T I could help you make a new one however...
  19. Cool Choice Banded Dusknoir. However I would have recommended Fire Punch, Earthquake, Trick and Shadow Sneak/Sucker Punch instead of Focus Punch. Focus Punch hits hard, but is very difficult to pull off on Choice Banded sets and Dusknoir is less likely to be able to use it nowadays.
  20. To be honest, I'm not sure how to use an Electivire... Choice Scarf seems usable... But I'm not sure. Hm... On Swampert I usually use Earthquake, Roar, Avalanche, and Stealth Rock, but your set works. Just make sure to give it Avalanche over Stone Edge. Avalanche mostly hurts Latias, Salamance, but has always been very useful for me. But I would recommend maybe Adamant on this Swampert, and add some Hp and Defense. Possibly 240 HP, 136 attack, 120 Defense? Choice Specs Salamence ins gooed. Skarmory... Would be better off using Brave Bird, or Taunt over Drill Peck, to shut down things like Blissey, Forretress, Dusknoir, Swampert and etc. Maybe even Toxic. As for Weavile... I recommend that you use Low Kick over Brick Break. And use Life Orb. Btw you could consider Ice Shard over Night Slash. I have used it before and it did a great job.
  21. It's not that bad actually. Starmie is a great Special Sweeper with Life Orb. Recover over Grass Knot is always an option. Electivire should also run Life Orb... Although Electivire is kind of bad in the current meta game... But still can be usable. Hm. You have a weakness to Ground types. Starmie can take some hits, but will die due to the common Stealth Rock, Sandstorm and its Life Orb damage. I recommend a Gliscor in your team. It does a good job countering Tyranitar (commonly wielding a Choice Scarf) and Scizor whom your team is weak to. Toxic, Taunt, Roost, and Earthquake is a good set to help you beat some stall teams. I recommend Shaymin with Timid, Life Orb, Seed Flare, Hidden Power-Fire, Rest and Earth Power. Also due to this team having a lot of Natural Cure users... I think you should switch Blissey's Aromatherapy for Flamethrower. This will help you beat Skarmory, Forretress and Scizor. You should use a Swampert as its bulk helps you counter specific pokes. Also I would use Avalanche if you're afraid of Latias, who can cause you problems. If you need anymore advice or recommendations, I'll be more then happy to help. Usually I log on every 1-3 days... So sorry if I'm late.
  22. I don't like advertising this.. but :http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/ This should help you out. If you have any questions. I'll help =P
  23. Yeah I know. I should have added that the 30 attack and 30 special attack may not work for legionaries >.< and also that in case it doesn't work you could use the IV spreads...
  24. Some legendaries may not allow that IV spread. Modest-2 attack, 30 special attack. Timid-2 attack, 30 special attack. Hasty-30 Hp, 30 attack, 30 special attack. Rash-30 Hp, 27 attack,30 defense, 30 special attacl. Lonely-30 attack, 30 special attack. These are some possible IV spreads to get Hp Grass for these natures. I'll try to get better ones or other possible spreads later.
  25. So... I've been able to help? . I'm glad that Relicanth works well. You should use 240 HP, 252 Attack, 12 Defense, and 4 Speed, so you could outpeed Blissey. Anyways if you ever have any questions or something that you'd like to comment, I would glady reply :}
