  1. It's nice to see another UU user around. Maybe we can battle sometime As for the rate: Gardy: I understand what your trying to do with her, it is an interesting combo. Something else you might want to watch out for is taunt, lead Frossy can shut down most of this set and they could switch into a dark type to nullify Psychic. That is inevitable as it is extremely hard to stop taunt. Instead of mean look, I would put healing wish or memento. These can either give a poke a second chance, or help on B-Drum sweeper set up. You could even run D-bond if you want. It won't support your team as much, but at least it would take care of Ambi (I'm Para-noid about Ambi leads ) but other than that, its use is limited. Clefable: This is a monster. A Bulky dancer that can restore it's health! *Death to all* No problems here. You have covered her weaknesses really well, Weezing makes a great partner, covering her fighting weakness. Lanturn: Yay, a fish. First thing, change Careful to Calm. That special attack drop really effects lanturn's damage output. I'm really not sure about toxic...by the looks of it, your team benefits more from Paralysis support. Maybe you could change it to confuse ray to give the famous para-fusion combo. If you are trying to his something specific with it, then maybe it could be useful, but for the most part I believe that the paralysis is more useful. After looking at your team's grass weakness, I think Lanturn might need to change. To keep with your GBA theme, you could use a special defensive Flareon. It learns Heal Bell and Wish to support the rest of the ream and has some good synergy with the rest of your team. Flareon (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 248 HP/8 SAtk/252 SDef < Edit: For SR weakness Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Wish / Heal Bell - Protect - Lava Plume / Body Slam <- If you still want paralysis support - Toxic <- for those water types The standard support set. It's quite effective, as seen in this warstory. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?3129-Diamond-Vs-Pearl-Battle-Between-Two-In-Game-Teams It can even take super effective surfs! Poliwrath: A great belly dancer, bulky and water absorb can let you set up against most bulky waters. No problems here. Azumarill is another option if you are looking for extreme power. Come in on a type weak to water. While they switch, sub up and proceed to B-drum. You already know this, don't you. You could also use Politoed for gimmicky reasons. Most people won't expect a B-dance set from him, but he slightly weaker and less bulky on the physical side. The fighting type loss can also be detrimental Change earthquake to return. Water and ground type attacks have redundant coverage and EQ doesn't hit grasses like return does. Since Empoleon is the only poke that resists Water/Normal, and since he isn't in UU... Be sure to change his HP Iv to 30 so Salac activates after a sub and a drumming. Weezing: He has great synergy with the Clefable and Lanturn. He can take fighting attacks for Fable and the dreaded ground attacks for Lanturn and in turn, burn them. Haze is usable, I've never tried it as I always ran Pain Split instead. T-bolt and Flamethrower are standard. Looks good. Claydol: The Standard Claydol. He is alsp a good match up with the likes of Clefable and Lanturn. He can also come in on Psychic types that threaten Weezing. Setting up SR is key in any offensive team. Focus Sashes always ruin my fun The rest of it is pretty much...normal Overall I think you have a bit of a grass weakness. The only pokemon who resists it (Weezing) has low SpDef. Only a few things here and there. I'll look at it again in the morning to see if I made any errors. It's a great team Tbird! Hope my comments helped And could you rate my rate? I've never done this before. I just want to make sure I touched all the bases.
  2. My turn Ambipom: Pretty standard set, I bet you can find quite a few uses for Knock off as he draws in steels to take his boosted attack. Regi would hate to lose his leftovers. Like Tbird mentioned before, Low kick and Payback can be suitable replacements as Technician is can boost them (If the opponent isn't too heavy, etc.) You could also try Life orb on Ambipom, but like always, the continuous switching and fake outs can drop his HP quickly. Torterra / Venasaur: With this setup, you might as well use Venasaur for its overall bulk and fewer weaknesses. It has access to sleep powder and can take water attacks with ease. I don't know about a SD Saur though. I would personally choose a bulky set just because I'm defensively oriented. Sleep powder Leech seed make great support options for any team. Powerful grass attacks can help with bulky water and ground types. Venusaur (M) @ Leftovers (<- Has been ripped from Smogon, *Para Fails*) Ability: Overgrow EVs: 252 HP/4 SAtk/252 SDef Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) <- I prefer the added bulk - Sleep Powder - Sludge Bomb - Leech Seed - Energy Ball / Power Whip A standard set, but is is quite effective. Boosting Sweeper 1: I really think something like Poliwrath can really bulk up your team. With water absorb, it can freely switch into any water attack and then proceed to sub and bulk up. Although it may not be a powerful as other pokemon, his natural bulkiness will allow him to stick around for quite a while. Most bulky waters can't touch him after he subs. You could also run a Crocune clone. It's all up to preference. Boosting Sweeper 2: I would suggest Ninetails. The reason being that it completes the Fire / Water / Grass combination. Along with Venasaur and Poliwrath, She will have plenty of opportunities to switch in. With nasty plot and hypnosis, she immediately threatens the opposing team. Calm mind can be used as a replacement for NP if you want her to be bulky and dangerous, but normally NP is preferred. Flash Fire can also cut down on Venasaurs pyrophobia. Arcanine can be another replacement, but I believe that Ninetails would pose a more immediate threat. The Pink Menace: Obviously one of the most hated pokes in UU. Your set looks fine. I would recommend taking off trick though. Like T-Bird said, Clefable is often Taunted. Seismic toss would give you a steady offense. Encore is another option. The Ev's allow for Clefable to take plenty of special attacks although some more Def Ev's can also be useful though. I think that moving some can be beneficial, but not too many. NP Missy is sure to ruin your fun with HP Fighting. Now that Pory-Z is in UU, he might be even more threatening, and Clefable isn't going to be staying in on the likes of Drapion or something... Edit: yours is bulkier than mine! I think you will be fine. Just watch out for fighting type attacks. Reflect can help if you are having some trouble taking them. Spinner: Claydol is a great option for your spinner. Electric and Ground immunity as well as a rock and psychic resistance can greatly benefit your team. He is immune to spikes, toxic spikes , and resists stealth rock. Venasaur and Poliwrath will cover most of his weaknesses. The problem he might have is with the ghosts who come in to block his spinning. Shadow ball is threatening, but Missy's Shadow Ball is really powerful. He can also set up SR (to open up a move slot for Clefable) or just explode when his job is done. It's really up to you. It's really a nice team randomspot! Most of these suggestions are based on my style of play...so they might not be what you like. None the less, hope this helped! And could you rate my rate? I've never done this before. I just want to make sure I touched all the bases.

  11. Well, I've been experimenting with some new moves and I've found a great combo! My pokesav provider is on a break so I came here to get my request filled. All of these need to be traded via Wi-Fi. FC:1591-1964-5742 Just let me know when you can get these pokes out! A word of warning...things may be difficult due to a terrible internet connection. If this happens, It might be better to hold of trading the pokes untill the next day. Update: Some of my sets aren't going to work...I'll update this again when I actually test my theory-mon.
