If it cannot match the encounter, then there is something wrong with the Met data, like it being hatched from an egg at the wrong level, or not available for capture at a certain level. Cases like that are usually if people join a friend's union circle, who is cheating in invalid pokemon to spawn, and the visitor captures the "impossible" spawn.1 point
