  1. Version 2.3.21

This is a ROM Hack of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky that adds an entirely new starter roster, new mechanics, as well as tweaking the expressions and dialogue of the entire main story! Hey, my name is Gala and I wanted to share a hack I created! This hack has been in the works since October of 2023, and is a very big feat of mine. The game’s plot itself is largely unchanged, but bits of everything else have been altered in minor or major ways. I’ll go into some of the more important changes below, but there is an in-depth spreadsheet here. If you don’t feel like reading a wall of text, that’s okay! Download it for yourself and enjoy! Join the Discord to keep up to date on the latest news regarding PMD: Explorers Remixed! You can also check out my YouTube! This hack alters aspects of the game’s story. Some characters look different and have new names. The entire game's script has edited dialogue to remedy poor translations and poorly conveyed emotions. The portraits of characters are more expressive where possible. However, that is the extent of my meddling. This isn’t EoS rebuilt from the ground up, it’s more-so a modified experience that allows me to learn the ropes of making an EoS ROM Hack! We are planning to rework the post-game in a later update, but for now, the majority of our changes land in the main storyline before you graduate the guild. All of the pre-graduation dungeons have had their spawn tables revised with our new Pokémon. You are able to evolve your starter and partner as soon as you discover the Luminous Spring! Thanks to an amazing skypatch, ‘StarterMenuTool’ (credits to Chesyon, Adex, HeckaBad, Irdkwia), we have been able to expand the starter list drastically. Our community has voted on 85 Pokémon to be included as starters! There are even some unique picks such as Golett, Wimpod, and even Cosmog! We have also included every single traditional starter from the mainline games! We’ve worked hard to modernize all our starter learnsets. This hack includes the Fairy type, along with 39 added moves and 22 added abilities! We've included many Mega Pokemon! You evolve into them at Luminous Springs. It is not a temporary form like in the mainline games, however, you can devolve back into your previous form. The following Pokemon unfortunately didn't receive animations in time, so we are using the Shiny versions as a placeholder: Mega Venusaur, Mega Blastoise, Mega Meganium, Mega Dragonite, Mega Blaziken, Mega Swampert, Mega Froslass, Mega Metagross, Mega Golurk, Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox, Mega Greninja, Iron Treads, Mega Sceptile, Mega Scizor, Mega Pinsir, Mega Heracross, Raging Bolt, Mega Absol Z, Gouging Fire, Mega Golisopod, Mega Emboar, Mega Chandelure, Mega Raichu X, Mega Raichu Y, Mega Gyarados, Mega Meowstic, Mega Lucario Z, Mr. Rime, and Toedscruel. We have added most SkyTemple community patches, which includes things such as Manual Team Control, the Move Growth system from modern PMD titles, Non-interruptive Weather, and many more! It all comes together to make the experience fresh and exciting! We’ve also included the necessary applications to apply this patch to an untampered, US ROM of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. Assets were provided by many people through places such as the PMD Sprite Repository, so check it out to give the artists some love! Due credit is on the spreadsheet. Hello everyone! My name is Canete16. You may know me from my previous work on Special Episode 0: In A Dark Past, another PMD hackrom that you can check out here: The project turned out to be a great success and many people were asking for a sequel to it. I was and I still am motivated enough to keep writing and creating stories, therefore, after gathering enough resources and teaming up with my talented co-creator Assidion... We decided to go for that much desired sequel, which will continue the events of both SE0 and Explorers' late postgame! This time, the plot will unfold throughout the legendary Destiny Tower, which will have a drastically different nature to the one we already knew in several PMD titles. New features: - Randomized dungeon disposition & tilesets for a much more replayable experience - Typing (starters/fairy-types) and balance changes (all included in the README .txt) - New Hidden Stairs gimmick: The Divine Domain - Test your luck at Gholdengo's Phantombola! And much, much more to discover... Socials: - Twitter: https://x.com/Canete_PMD - Discord: discord.gg/9WgBfmhy Thanks for reading this post! We dearly hope you found the project appealing

  3. No date is tracked in the generation 1-3 games, since the gen 1 games + FRLG don't have any clock, and the gen 2 and RSE only keep track of days passing, not of specific dates. When moving your Pokémon to generation 4, the date of the transfer will be assigned (based on the date set in the DS, if done legitimately), and when moving it to generation 5, the date will be changed once more based on the date of the transfer to generation 5 (once more using the DS date): this generation 5 date is what is used for all of the games post generation 5. When transferring Pokémon from generation 5 to generation 6 using Poké Bank, a country and region is set for your Pokémon based on what was set in your 3DS: since it's unrelated to the language of the Pokémon itself (you could be transferring English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, French, Korean Pokémon independently of the region of your console and language of your game), this setting doesn't really matter. As far as I know, the storage of the country and region was dropped in the Switch games, meaning it wouldn't matter either on the long run, so feel free to keep it as-is or edit it if it worries you. Not aware of any ban possible in your case since from what you're telling, the Pokémon would be identical to one that could have been received back in the days = legal Pokémon.
