With it, users can manipulate various save files including: .sav, .dsv, .dat, .gci, .raw, and .bin types. PKHeX can also read and write: .pk files, which are individual Pokémon files, and .pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc, wcfull, which are Mystery Gift files.

Version 25.09.25 of PKHeX has been released, adding support for loading zip save files/folders and compatibility with new Mystery Gifts such as Shiny Miraidon/Koraidon and the Treasures of Ruin.

PKHeX now requires the .NET Desktop Runtime 9.0 to run. If you receive an error when trying to run, ensure you have it installed.

Please note that other related applications will still require time to update, and updated versions of plugins or SysBot may not be available immediately.

I think I found an error that I mentioned in this thread, in case you're interested:

It's related to certain initials and their Poké Balls.

I can't open this version of pkhex, it keeps loading when I open the file and then nothing happens, I've already tried running as administrator and disabling the antivirus, do you know what could be the cause?

The previous version does open normally.

Nobody can help you if you are vague. "keep getting errors"... say what they are?

There are threads dedicated to discussing running PKHeX on Linux systems. Please use them.

You're likely not the first with an error message, so try google searching the error message as well.

I just wanted to say I do appreciate the PKHex team for all that you do. I do go back and re-play past Pokemon games and there are a lot of events that have been missed over the years. I do modify stats for Pokemon that I do use the most, but this a good tool to use and does check legality.

Found a silly issue: in a Black 2 or White 2 save, checking the EntreeForest tab in Block Data (no need to edit anything there), then checking the Forest tab in Misc Editor will report tons of invalid Pokemon being present while it should not happen.

    • Since they released over a decade ago, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games for the Nintendo DS have not had much in the way of ROM editors. Over the past few years, hackers have slowly learned more and more about the inner workings of the games, culminating in the most advanced PMD editor to date: Sky Temple.

SkyTemple is a user-friendly level editor for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky that gives the user full control over graphics, scripts, Pokémon data, and more, enabling a great amount of creative freedom to prospective ROM hackers to create not just edits of the game, but entirely new levels and plots.
