savememan Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 (edited) I was playing Pokemon Green English (a romhacked Pokemon Blue to match the original Pokemon Green) Played it on Retroarch Android Worked fine made it to Cerulean City A few days later tried to play again and it said the save file was destroyed I loaded my file into PKHex and it showed all my pokemon just fine Not sure why it's saying it's corrupt? Help appreciated it would be a pain in the ass to start over (and maybe have it corrupted again) Pokemon - Green Version (USA) (SGB Enhanced).srm Edited November 14, 2020 by savememan removed rom
Poke J Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 @savememan I'm not a mod here, but it is against the rules to upload ROMs on this forum. I suggest you remove the file from your post.
Shady Guy Jose Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I opened your save file in PKHeX, exported it again, changed the extension to .sav for it to work on my emulator, and it loaded up as a Pokémon Red save. I saved it again in-game, and it works. I don't know if it'll work with your Green hack, but you can at least salvage the playthrough itself. Pokemon - Red Version (USA, Europe) (SGB Enhanced).sav 1
savememan Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 @Shady Guy Jose It worked! Loads in Pokemon "Green" (Blue) just fine. Thanks a lot, looks like the fix was pretty simple not sure how it got corrupted in the first place though 1

savememan Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 Not glitching deliberately at all. Honestly have no clue how it happened. I don't think it happened due to closing the app while saving, wouldn't it have been unrecoverable then? Not sure
