Tavren Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Please help I am so annoyed with this. It makes 0 Sense. Pokemon - FireRed Version (USA).sav
theSLAYER Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 It makes complete sense. Your "save" is filled with garbage data. Consider saving in-game, then exporting the battery save.
Tavren Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 I am using VBA I do save in game. Please elaborate? Sav: Pokemon - FireRed Version (USA)(1).sav Still got same error please check I even tried exporting battery as flash save and it still gives same error. I was super excited to try this program out. Wish it would work!
theSLAYER Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Please don't multipost. Just edit any new information into the latest unanswered post. Also, our site supports uploads, no need to upload to another site. Same issue. You're clearly doing something wrong. How are you saving the game?
Tavren Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 I save by going to File->Save... Then to export battery file I go to File->Export->Battery File... Could it be my GBA game thats the issue? Here is my save type as well

You know, pressing the Start button to open the menu in the game, then selecting Save.. (ignore the OT, was using someone else's save...) 35 minutes ago, Tavren said: I do save in game. I do like your confidence to make that declaration, when in reality that's not what you're doing.. 1
Tavren Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) That totally worked. Saved in the ACTUAL game and then exported battery! THANKS! Am I able to give you rep or no? Edited June 30, 2020 by Tavren 1

Tavren Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 Sorry one more thing. Once I Export Save from PKHEX I go to VBA, Load up the game and import battery file right? But When its not showing my edits!

Tavren Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) How? Also is there a way to bypass this PID stuff? Does a pokemon HAVE to be legal to be put in game? Edited June 30, 2020 by Tavren
theSLAYER Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Erm, PID is naturally given to a mon. If you change the stats, you'll invalidate the RNG calls that called for PID and the stats in succession. (so, it is a way to know they're illegal). As for whether a mon has to be legal, it doesn't have to be, but I recommend it.
PaPaChad Posted October 16, 2020 Posted October 16, 2020 Can someone give me a thourough explanation cause mines not working

Well, after much research, I have concluded that it is a reproduction and that the game is saved in the sram, so I used your tool and I was able to get the sav, but how is the sav injected back into the .gba , I replace it with hxd?

There is presently no public way to inject a save back into a repro cart. I imagine someone knows, but it's private info as of now.

If you are referring to a save file that's completely filled with FF or 00, no. The save is empty/uninitialized in that case, there is nothing you could load. 1
theSLAYER Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 Yeah, that is empty. Your save isn’t magically hiding amongst that data. But that is their file. This error can occur for a few different reasons, and it differs case by cases. Upload your save and let us take a look.
Reversal Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Hey, I found this Thread by looking what could be wrong with my save. Sadly I am unable to find it here, so maybe you could help me.
