bug Sword file still throwing filesize error, Shield file fine

What it says on the tin: I tried editing a Sword save file with version 20.06.19 and it threw a filesize error, specifically stating that the file was too large, listing it at 1575632 bytes. In the attached image, a Shield file that I successfully edited is on the left, while the Sword file that threw the error is on the right. The edits made to the Shield file carried over correctly.

I had had a hunch that it was due to saving while in the Isle of Armor, but trying a save on my Sword version in Wedgehurst also threw a filesize error. I have not been to the Isle of Armor on my Shield file yet, so it's possible that accessing the DLC area and/or getting the pokedex upgrade is the culprit. Otherwise, I'm stumped. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

No DLC (just the update), have Sword, cannot open the main file, get the same error.

but how do we open it? theirs no exe, i tried using vidual studio but it still doesnt open

thats supose to be the new "kubfu" but its not. also i tranferred a wartortale from pokemon home and now its nowhere to be found in pkhex

 

oh and slowpoke shows up as galor form when its supose to be alhon form

I don't know what to say. make sure you installed PKHeX again,
have said wartortle in your party (so you can find it) etc

Event checks aren't there, max raid events aren't fully implemented yet.

There's a Checkbox. Find it.

I'm having the same issue, I can't get it to load and I redownloaded pkhex 5 minutes ago. This is a save from shield.

yeah, its because you downloaded a "main" file. use checkpoint to get your own

The save was from a friend that he wanted me to edit, I do not have a modded switch.

1575632 should be supported. Try redownloading PKHeX and placing it in another directory, then opening from there.

I'm still getting the same error, I'm going to assume the save is corrupted. I tried redownloading pkhex and downloading the dev build, the outcome is the same, If you want I'll send a copy of the save.
