Suggestion: Decoration Editor for Gen 3-4

Honestly, this is a feature that I've been waiting a long time for, especially in Gen 3's case. Is it possible to add such a feature in a future release?

You mean the decorations for Secret bases in Gen3? There is software which does pretty much what you want -

I am not sure about Gen4 though.

I already tried that. It doesn't let you add decorations you don't already have, from my experience with it. As for Gen 4, I heard Pokesav MIGHT have that feature, but I never tested it.

I would love adding new past gen features to pkhex, but I only tried it once with honey tree editing and it felt like I forced kaphotics to do it for me, as he refactored most of the code, so with my current skill I'm not daring to.

There are ways to do it  already though.

Gen 3: 

Gen 4: ds poke edit 1.97 is an editor that can edit/show most interesting gen 4 stuff (including decors) that pkhex doesn't handle yet, the only thing missing would be honey tree pokemon (but that's editable in latest pkhex). Try finding a translated version though, maybe there's one buried in the forums.

There's also pokesav for the respective version (dp, pt, hgss) but it is more limited and I'm not sure if it really had anything that poke edit couldn't do.

How would one approach a translation in a hex editor? I could try to do it, since I'm fluent in spanish

I have almost a complete set of decorations for gen 3, I could contribute them. The only ones I never got legit were the Emerald BF decorations. I could upload a save and you could rip them using Triggers PC and clone the save a few times to get dupes if you wanted. Let me know. 

Edit: Also, for the record. When I say all but the Emerald ones, I'm talking about the Regi dolls. I got those legit. I bought the rest in-game and traded them around using the decoration trader.

Just open the exe in hex editor, search for the text and change it, the only limitation is that new text can't be longer than the text already there. Use spaces to "erase" unnecessary text/letters.

ps: I may go and translate it myself, there's not that much text anyways

The program has null bytes every other letter, so this makes it very difficult to find the words I want to change

I've already translated all of the main window, and some of the pop-ups, but I can't seem to find the toolbar to edit

EDIT: Never mind, found the location to edit
