From the first post of this thread. This requires you use a 3ds on system nand 9.0-9.5. You CANNOT use any other firmware, nor a new nintendo 3ds, nor a 3ds on 9.x emunand. AU icee Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Has anybody tried updating their console with "Code Name S.T.E.A.M" game (the the Fimware it comes with, i think it's 9.4) and tested this? i'm on 9.2.0-12 and its not working, i am willing to update but i don't want to do it and have it fail I have this same question.. The whole process is now officially limited to owners of 2 consoles (with 1 un-updated). There is also the japanese game + console + CGSE combo, but that's quite expensive. Can anyone help with this? I have an older 3DS and a 2GB SD Card; I downloaded the Bin and Exk File onto the SD Card; I inserted it back into my 3DS; I launched Alpha Sapphire and made sure Box 1 Slot 1 was clear; I went to the internet without closing out Alpha Sapphire; and I cleared the History and Deleted Cookies and then went to the Load Code Address, but it still won't crash. The "Failed to load part of the page" does pop up, but it goes away and the black "LoadCode Loading" message remains on the lower screen without it crashing. Can someone please help me with this? What firmware are you on ? This works only between 9.0 and 9.5-22 updates (you can check yours in the 3DS parameters). wingraider Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 tried it on 9.2.0-10U with a copy of pokemon Y, browser does crash but no injection happening. it would be nice that this would be tested as the first post advertised as it works from 9.0 to 9.5-23. any mods or if somehow lucky, the owner of the thread out there? supercarotte Posted April 3, 2015 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Well, I do not use the GW myself and am not an expert or whatsoever but, for what I understood, GW uses a "fake" firmware which you can update/downgrade as you whish without changing the original firmware. That would mean you can update your fake firmware to play SSB but still be able to access and modify your saves (but not using the web exploit, it doesn't work on emuNAND). The way I have experience ProjectPokemon / GBATemp the past years is that ProjectPokemon is more for the software related modding (web browser exploits, dumping save data, save editing etc. and all focused on pokemon) whereas GBATemp has a broader topic range.
