MJBurley Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 You can also save as ".ek6" then rename in windows explorer. Hopefully one of these methods works for you.
Apache Thunder Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I vote PkHeX is updated to save as ekx by default. The vast majority of users will be using this for pokemon injection given that this method of pokemon injection doesn't require CyberGadget or a Flashcart. So there's a LOT of new users that can suddenly use this.
FlutterPrower Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 This works great! Thanks, though I have a quick question, is there a database with premade pkx/ekx event pokemon? cause I want to try and get some event pokémon that I missed out on in the past like Meloetta.
Apache Thunder Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 It worked like a charm! However, the only thing I notice is that the event code for the Prison Bottle doesn't activate, even after I got the dex entry. The 1.2 (or 1.1 patch. Not sure which) removed that event from what I heard. If you still don't get the event for the item to activate (I'm guessing GameFreak plans to distribute this via wondercard/Mystery Gift instead) then you can boot the game with a blank SD card (or just uninstall the game patches via Data Management). Then boot the game without the game patches installed and put the Hoopa in your party and activate the event. Once you have the bottle, you can reinstall the game patches as I know myself that they do not remove the bottle after it's already in your item list.
Ankaa Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I wonder, could the injection be tweaked so that we could literally inject as many pokemons at once as we wanted by simply editing the injectiondebug.bin? Is anyone working on that?
krisztian1997 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Injectiondebug.bin is just a ram dump created for debugging purposes, but the entire source code is in the first post so anyone can edit it, I am not sure about the way how pokemons are stored in the memory, but it should be posible to inject more pokemons than a single one.
Ankaa Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 well, im a no-go when it comes to coding, so not for me messing arround with that.
RegenerateLPs Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Here is my Injectiondebug.bin. Everything I try doesn't work for me. Pretty sure my 3DS is an old one, I got it for Christmas of 2013. https://www.mediafire.com/?gtopfigaeyyqr93
PineappleTommy Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 So will this be adapted to a new 3ds. I planned on selling my current xl when it comes out
met122 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 It seems like it doesn't work on Korean version 3DS... I think it is not just my own problem, because several guys who have Korean version 3DS say so. Can you check it out?
|M| Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I got this to work, which I am glad it does, but my questions are as follows: 1. Is it possible to edit the code for multiple mons generated in one go or is the load code website based? 2. If it is possible, would you be willing to give out the code.bin to allow more then 1 generated mon? 3. Would this possibly eliminate the use of cyber save gadgets in the future? Thanks for your time SciresM and Kaphotics for indulging into helping us have PokeGen again! :kikkoman:
Theultimate12 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 I have tested this by creating a Volcanion, and I did everything (the website even crashed, and I have cleaned the first box, just like you guys said), but the Volcanion wasnt there. Is there anything that I am doing wrong? Also, I want to ask some other questions 1. I am not really sure if my 3DS is on the exact requeriments. Once again, is there something wrong? 2. I had just renamed the file to .ekx, since it was actually .pk6. Is there anything wrong with this? I am sorry for asking all of these questions. I am just wanting to know if I am doing something right or wrong.
Red7s Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 This requires you use a 3ds on system nand 9.0-9.4. You CANNOT use any other firmware, nor a new nintendo 3ds, nor a 3ds on 9.x emunand. If it isn't working, please clear your browser history and cookies and try again. Please do not discuss Pokemon legality help in this thread. The place for that is here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Pok%E9mon-Legality This is a method based off of Yifan Lu's spider3DSTools (https://github.com/yifanlu/Spider3DSTools) to inject pokemon into your game with nothing more than a 9.X Sysnand 3ds and an SD card reader. You can see it in action here: Instructions: 1. Download code.bin from the bottom of this post and put it at the root of your 3ds's SD card. 2. Using PKHeX (http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?36986-PKHeX-(Gen-6-SAV-PKX-Editor)), save a pokemon (any pokemon) as "pokemon.ekx". Alternatively, download a sample hoopa from the bottom of this post. Copy that file to your SD card, and make sure it's named "pokemon.ekx". 3. On your 3ds, open up the game you want to inject to. Make sure you don't have anything in Box 1, slot 1. 4. Close your boxes in-game, open your web browser, and go to http://loadcode.projectpokemon.org -- After the web browser crashes, open up your game and the pokemon should be in box 1 slot 1. If it doesn't work, please let me know so that I can give you a file that will let me debug why it isn't working and fix whatever the issue is. Source: http://pastebin.com/mHB0XPfL Update at 3 PM 1-24-15: Fixed a bug that was causing it to not inject properly. Update at 1 AM 1-25-15: Added an example pokemon for people to test the exploit. Frequently Asked Questions > What's the root directory? The Root directory of your SD card is the base folder. C: \ is the root of the C Drive, etc. > What is emunand? Am I on Sysnand or Emunand? If you have to ask this question and/or don't know what either of those words mean, you are on Sysnand and this will work. > When I run the exploit, I get a bad egg! Your pokemon.ekx file is not actually a .ekx. It is probably a .pkx. Make sure you are saving it correctly from PKHeX. > How can I get my SID? Open your injectiondebug.bin (generated when you run the exploit) in the latest version of PKHeX. > The exploit isn't working! When I run it, nothing happens, and I don't have an injectiondebug.bin! Clear your 3ds browser's cache/cookies. Scroll down to the bottom of settings and hit "Initialize Save Data", then try again. > What does this work on? This works on Old 3ds and old 3ds XL firmwares 9.0-9.4. > When do I trigger this? Load the website in the 3ds browser AFTER opening the game and making sure there's nothing in box 1 slot 1. > I didn't get a pokedex entry for the pokemon I injected! This is normal. If you want the dex entry, put the pokemon into pokebank and then take it out. Download: Hello, Would I be able to get the debug file from you? The "exploit" didn't seem to work for me. EDIT: Not even the example Pokemon is working

I am just wanting to know if I am doing something right or wrong. You need to save it as .ek6 then manually change it to .ekx or click all files in the save as dialogue box and manually name it pokemon.ekx. The file MUST be named pokemon.ekx.

No, your DS is fine, but you should try to clear your caches in the web browser (DS's) 2. I had just renamed the file to .ekx, since it was actually .pk6. Is there anything wrong with this? That's not the way to go. To save it in *.ekx you should change the save type in the PKHeX. It will save as *.ek6, that file you may than rename to pokemon.ekx. Another option is creating a file named pokemon.ekx and saving over it, will work out perfectly. I am sorry for asking all of these questions. I am just wanting to know if I am doing something right or wrong. Its no problem
YungRK9 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Got The Hoopa to work, but cannot open the PKHex application on my Windows XP once downloaded
Leanny Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 After testing around a bit I managed to inject about 640 Pokémon (batch injection ftw). I'm really looking forward to a randomizer Good job so far guys.
Flp615 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Can I transfer more than 1 pokemon at the same time?

I'm really looking forward to a randomizer Good job so far guys. Can you please explain how you managed to get a batch injection working? A lot of us are looking into it and asking about it, there's not much info out there yet for many to figure it out. You could be a hero! Share the knowledge!
