theSLAYER Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Honest to God, With the savs and pkms provided to me, it worked on my end. Minimum required is .NET 4 Client Framework, (for those who dont have that). I've upgraded to Version 2.1b, With a "Existing Insert". For users unable to load. please give a try. Also saving the program onto a new folder on your desktop, with everything inside.
Catobela Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 XP Compatibility mode didn't help with 1.5b or 2.0b, which was depressing. 2.1b, however, works without error even without compatibility mode. I eagerly await how this fine program will progress.

Thank you very much Slayer
Thunder Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Yay! Now everyone's happy! I'm hoping forward to some new features. It'll be sweet if this turns into something like Pokesav (No offense against Pokegen).
theSLAYER Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 Hey guys, great to hear that it's working! When you say work, you meant existing edit, not loaded right? Does loaded work? If it doesn't I need to do some work on it. In presently dealing with hall of fame editor, What other features are wanted?

I think a feature we all would like is the option to save the PokeStar Pokemon as .pkm files!
Lorenzo The Comic Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Or if we can somehow get the Pokéstar "sparkle" (I mean the one your Pokémon gets after obtaining a strange ending), which cancels out both the shiny and N sparkles.
theSLAYER Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 I think a feature we all would like is the option to save the PokeStar Pokemon as .pkm files! I'm thinking about the export as .pkm, as well as export box. Coming soon! Or if we can somehow get the Pokéstar "sparkle" (I mean the one your Pokémon gets after obtaining a strange ending), which cancels out both the shiny and N sparkles. Ah that! It'll be included in next releases as I intend to incorporate basic editing

JGBMaster Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Or if we can somehow get the Pokéstar "sparkle" (I mean the one your Pokémon gets after obtaining a strange ending), which cancels out both the shiny and N sparkles. Lol I can do that with RubenPikachu's Pokémon Data Checker BW2, before loading it in PSI, first you load it and tick the "PokéStar Shine" checkbox and you save it
RubenPikachu Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 To get the Pokestar shine in a .pkm file, the value in offset 0x87 must be between 250 and 255 (0xFA-0xFF), I think you can insert a checkbox that changes this offset value of the pkm file before encrypting and injecting it into the save file, also basic editing would be great to make the studio pokemon in the program
Lorenzo The Comic Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Here's a team I was working on: Black Belt @ Ice Gem Ability: Huge Power EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Nature: Jolly -Taunt -Close Combat -Ice Punch -Swords Dance The Black Belt found at Pokéstar Studios only knows Taunt and Fighting-Type moves, I decded to be give a little more diverse type. F-00 @ Life Orb Ability: Volt Absorb Evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Nature: Jolly -Iron Head -Hammer Arm -Thrash -Perish Song Maybe I should use Needle Arm instead of Thrash. One of the two flinchers for my team. MT2 @ Leftovers Ability: Flash Fire Evs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 242 Spe Nature: Modest -Dragon Pulse -Flamethrower -Metal Burst -Thunderbolt The nature of choice sacrifices some physical attack, so Metal Burst would only be useful against Rocks. Brycen-Man @ Expert Belt Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe Nature: Hasty - Ice Beam - Night Shade - Psychic - U-Turn These are just all the moves that Brycen-Man knows in Brycen-Man Strikes Back 2. Monica (Giant ♀) @ Life Orb (Maybe I'll replace this with Silk Scarf) Ability: Huge Power EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Nature: Adamant - Return - Stomp - Focus Punch - Teeter Dance Teeter Dance, or if the opponent uses a status move / misses can be fodder for Focus Punch. Stomp goes along with the Speed EV's for a chance to flich the opponent. I just included Return in case the opponent is faster than her. Smeargle 2 @ Leftovers Ability: Moody Evs: 252 HP / 252 Spe Nature: Jolly - Spore - Swords Dance - Substitue - Baton Pass I know people have seen this setup moveset before, but to increase one of ther partner's already high physical attack...
JGBMaster Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I made a Studio team some weeks ago too: Brycen-Man @ Choice Scarf Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - U-Turn - Psychic - Ice Beam - Protect Spirit @ Leftovers Trait: Wonder Guard EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Taunt - Confuse Ray - Slack Off - Toxic MT2 @ Leftovers Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant Nature (+Atk, - SAtk) - Bolt Strike - V-Create - Rock Slide - Earthquake Black Belt @ Fighting Gem Trait: Huge Power EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Mach Punch - Drain Punch - Close Combat - Foresight White Door @ Leftovers Trait: Blaze EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Spe Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Heal Bell - Wish - Slack Off - Toxic UFO 2 @ Leftovers Trait: Levitate EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Psychic - Thunderbolt - Thunder Wave - Flamethrower
theSLAYER Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 Guess what I'm doing!: I'm still in the "viewing phase", if you will, been going well so far. Lets just say that file size increased tremendously.
Kaphotics Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Super pumped for the Hall of Fame editor. Keep up the good work!
theSLAYER Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 Super pumped for the Hall of Fame editor. Keep up the good work! Haha thank you! That might take a while though, Cause I'm presently working on reading and setting my "viewer". Once the viewer is done, I'm using it to "set" into the hall of fame (rather than recreate another setter)
Thunder Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Maybe you can make a few Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files to branch off from the main project, possibly to reduce the file size and/or make coding the application simpler.
theSLAYER Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 IT'S UP IT'S UP IT'S UP! VERSION 3.0B !!! http://www.mediafire.com/?17cxxmt95d46zay File was TOO big for PP apparently! New Viewer and Hall of Fame Editor! Took me the entire week (the free time of which during) to do it! ----------------------------------- Maybe you can make a few Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files to branch off from the main project, possibly to reduce the file size and/or make coding the application simpler. I don't exactly know how to do that
Lorenzo The Comic Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Will update my Pokéstar Studios Topic soon
theSLAYER Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 That might be this "slight glitch" that I discovered (yet to incorporate), and its that Studio Pokemon have "forms", Based on changes of form ID. If the form ID of Brycenman is different, it might show MT
Lorenzo The Comic Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 It looks like the Tutorial button isn't working for me. Smeargle 2 actually does have a proper Shiny Forme.
theSLAYER Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 It looks like the Tutorial button isn't working for me. Smeargle 2 actually does have a proper Shiny Forme. I've temporary removed the Tutorials as it's different, so it isn't a Glitch My tutorial-of-sorts is in my Image spoiler on the First post! I accidentally left out Smeargle 2's shiny form. If you inject, it will still show ingame Very attentive! Let me know if you encounter any other problems!
RubenPikachu Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) Nice... excellent job with the Hall of Fame editor  and the basic editor seems nice to generate Studio Pokemon in the program Keep up the good work! Edited November 27, 2012 by RubenPikachu
