Event: Shiny "Pikachu-Colored" Pichu Pokémon Movie 12 Distribution

<p><img src="http://projectpokemon.org/mirrors/images/Pichu-SHOKOTAN-JAP-PP.org.png" style="float: right; border: 1px solid #369; margin: 0 0 0 1.5em;" />The "Pikachu-Colored" Pichu distribution started yesterday and we have all the details regarding the Pichu! In order to download the Pichu, you had to pre-order movie tickets for Pokémon Movie 12. This Pichu is special not only because it is shiny, but it unlocks an in-game event that allows you to get the "Jagged-Ear" Pichu in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. For full details about this in-game event, <a href="http://projectpokemon.org/games/heartgoldsoulsilver/jaggedearpichu.php">click here</a>.</p><p>Please remember that since the Pichu is shiny, it can only be one nature. In this case, Pichu will only be Jolly. The distribution lasts until August 30th 2009. A Lv.30 Jolly Natured Shiny Pichu with Volt Tackle?? I see viability there.

Just evolve it into a Pikachu, give it Light Ball, and just use it as a revenge killing Volt Tackle-er :)

How do I ummmm use the event I donwloaded b/c I have no clue what type of file this is anyways, I thought I had to be in Japan for this event, so there would be no way i could get the event, but you posted this but I have no clue how to do it.

Apologies if this is a stupid question, just arrived and I couldn't find the answer anywhere (which isn't to say that it isn't anywhere, so apologies also if I've missed something obvious). But I was just wondering, if I download the .pkm, the .pcd and the .pgt files for this event Pichu and use the three of them with Pokesav to create an AR code for Platinum, will that Pichu then eventually be suitable for transfer to HeartGold/SoulSilver for activating the Pichu event at Ilex Forest? And if so, in which of the three files is that event trigger information contained? I imagine it's not the Wonder Card file, as I don't think the card transfers when the Pokemon is traded, but beyond that I'm clueless.

Thanks in advance for any help guys.

Hm, why is the Pichu's "Place of Obtainance" Pokemon Movie 09?

That's odd, I didn't edit anything, just loaded the Wondercard.

and it gave that, wasn't it supposed to be 12?

Yes, if the code generates this pkm, then the Pichu will activate the event.

It means 09 as in 2009, not the 9th movie.

Thank you, I was kind of confused, then I noticed that all the other pokemon had the same number. "Well the Movie Event Pokemon, year of Origin"

And this pichu is some piece of work, nice moveset, nice level. good stats.

Yep. You don't need the WC, The fateful encounter flag on the Pichu pkm is what activates the event, not the wondercard.

3 Things I want to say

1. At last we have a decent Event

2. How come Volt Tackle only has 120 Power? I saw it on the video fenzo666 posted

3. They could have given it Surf but that would've been bad since its a jolly nature

Perhaps I missed something, but will there be a release of this Pichu in other countries? >.> I just...don't like using AR on Platinum. If not, I suppose I'll just have to deal.

Since it activates an event, it should be released in other countries. Like Regi and Shaymin.

I'm pretty tempted to evolve my Pichu... it has some nice IVs.

But I want to use this one to activate the event. Guess I'll just wait.
