Brock's rhyhorn which can be obtained by ingame trade in HG/SS has the move thunder fang. This move is reported as Hacked / Event only (422) on pokécheck which is not true. This should be updated. Furthermore - as reported by me earlier but nothing has changed yet - the ingame trades of black and white are reported as hacked (false) with the following errors: Language: Invalid or missing: 0x00; OT: ナオキ\xFFFF\x0000\x0000\x0000\x0000 Does not match any region's character map; nickname: アオメ\xFFFF\xFFFF\x0000\x0000\x0000\x0000\x0000\xFFFF Does not match any region's character map. (same for all ingame trades: Basculin, cottonee, emolga, munchlax and rotom).

Black Kyurem is having Fusion Bolt show up as hacked/event, although White Kyurem is fine with Fusion Flare.

Edit: Apparently uploading an inappropriate named Pokémon that originated from 5th gen on a different language cart renames the Pokémon/OT to that language, yet retains the original language. Example English language Pokémon with the default Japanese nick and OT.

I don't know what's going on with Pokecheck lately. It randomly started to block me from entering the site for a couple of hours a day. I know it isn't a maintenance break because my friend can access it with no troubles whatsoever. Running a proxy and successfully entering the site confirmed my suspicion that it's a problem with my IP.

So why does Pokecheck block my IP?

Found an oversight in the legality checker; it says Sunny Day and Fire Blast are previous gen tm/tutors, when I know they're in BW. Not certain if this is due to the mon in question being a colosseum entei or not, but I thought I'd bring the matter to light.

Not exactly thread related; but it's having a little bit of issues as of late. Always check back in a few minutes if you can't connect.

Also, level matches threshold means current exp exactly matches the level threshold for what level it is currently at.

To continue with this post... This "Froslass" got renamed like this when uploaded to the GTS in 5th gen in JP White 1 and 2, but it was blocked in English White. And this ペニス (means penis) got renamed like this when uploaded in English White, but instead of being blocked in JP White 2 it got renamed like this.

However, I was unable to nickname anything in JP White 2 inappropriate. ペニス was simply not allowed in-game, and while ぺニス！ was allowed it did not trip the censor. If someone has name that would be allowed to be entered in JP B/W 1 and 2, yet trips the GTS censor I'd like to know. Otherwise the mismatch in the nickname and language cannot happen for 5th gen Japanese Pokémon.

And of course the mismatch in language and name can only happen if the OT name is the censored one. So for English it would be Shiro* or Kuro*.

The OT section keeps showing Invalid trash bytes. . what am i supposed to do to make my pokemon legit? when i update a pokemon i got really confused on which button i should choose between import 4 generation pkm, import 5...... and the last one import 4 pkm as generation 5 pkm....

My two eggs from Kanto Starter Egg event, Charmander (http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=2010271) and Bulbasaur (http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=2010273) is showed up as "Met location does not match wondercard". This Bulbasaur is hatched at Virbank City, while Charmander is hatched at Floccesy Town (or Sangi Town).

My other egg, Squirtle (http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=2010272), does not have any problem.

the other one is marked private AND public. Meaning other people can download and see the LA, but not find it in the search results.

Swap the Japanese charmander before hatching-what my edition white (original), and uploaded it to pokecheck and I get to the meeting place is "hacked" when it is not because the egg pokes, even events, if exchanged the location is changed to "trade link".

I believe this is the Charmander you are referring to. All other uploads were not traded (egg receiver was the one who hatched), so there's nothing else I can reference. Nice!

Some Probopass are bugged: If the OT is 3rd Gen it simply says "► Version This pokémon didn't exist in gen 3." like in this example (user JamHunny, not mine). Nosepass in 3rd Gen -> evolved in Gen 4/5.

EDIT: Kyurem-Black's Fusion Bolt reads hacked; think it just learns it on form change. http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1574717 and http://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=1970649 both show. Kyurem-White's Fusion Flare shows fine.

All eggs (including events) change the location to be exchanged without hatching, so with the id, sid and ot. I tested it several times, you can check it yourself if you do not believe, sending an unhatched egg to another edition, you can verify that changes the location (i tested with ds lite and 3ds, with flashcard and original game respectively).

edit: The original game is also changed, the only thing that remains is the region, including the Pokémon that are not initially shinys can be, and those who were shinys may cease to be, in both cases if the pokemon is changed with another edition.

EDIT: Manaphy from eggs that would be shiny on the game the eggs are recieved on have their PID+Nature changed, there is some info at the end of this post.

This change happens when the Manaphy egg is hatched, so any un-hatched eggs with abnormal PID/IV combos are still hacked.
