I would, but it kinda destroys the whole lore. As much as three Dragonites seem like overkill, some people aren't really prepared for three Dragonites either. They're not as easy to KO as you think. I had a terribly hard time with them (at least when I hacked their levels to be bumped up).

Your experience doesn't mean everyone has the same experience. I picked Meganium... so it was pretty tough. And besides, the game's challenge isn't terribly hard, it's just reasonable. And trust me, Ice Beam and Ice Punch nowadays won't even OHKO Dragonite anymore =)

What movesets do you prefer then, Floot?

That is competitive though. In-game though Lance LOVES to spam Hyper Beam because it is his "signature move"...

If it were competitive, I wouldn't do that though. Competitive and in-game are two different things :P

If I recall correctly, his two mini Dragonites use Ice and Thunder, respectively, with Thunder Wave. They also don't have Outrage. His best Dragonite had Fire Blast and Outrage... so I gave his last one a "real moveset". :P

Oak battles you in generation I? Hmm, never knew that. And the anime has nothing to do with the games, so Giovanni will not have Mewtwo.

There was a code that allowed you to do so. Unfortunately, it wasn't actually implemented... but really a remnant data that was left for your Gameshark to hack through :P

His lineup was similar to Blue's... except he had the starter you DIDN'T take and Tauros.

That's amazing. Anyways, back on topic, maybe Giovanni could use a Rhyperior instead of his Rhydon.

Definitely not prior obtaining the national dex =)
