the changelog is messy since I can't seem to edit it, sorry for that.
-When adding new screenshots the version gets automatically updated, can't seem to do anything about it.

This version represents a massive update with major new features, performance improvements, and a vast number of bug fixes.

Our underlying tools have issues with OneDrive, neither DSPRE nor ROMs should be in OneDrive
New Features & Major Additions
- Automatic Updates & Installer: DSPRE now features an installer and can automatically check for and download updates directly from GitHub.

Externalized Editors for Performance: For significantly better performance and stability, the following editors have been externalized from the main window into their own dedicated windows:
- Table Editor
- Trainer Editor
- NSBTX Editor
- Event Editor
- Matrix Editor
- Header Editor
- Map Editor

Scripting & Code Revolution:
- External Script Database: The script command database has been moved to external JSON files, allowing for easy community updates and modifications.

Plaintext Scripts: Scripts can now be imported/exported as plaintext
.scriptfiles. - VSCode Integration: Added a new VSCode extension and an "Open in VSCode" button for seamless plaintext script editing.

Script Editor Enhancements: Added basic auto-complete, C-style comment support (
//,/* */), and a Ctrl+S shortcut to save. -
Improved Parameter View: Toggle between ID/Name view and ID/Number view for script parameters (e.g., see

Application & Infrastructure

New File System: Settings, scripts, logs, and crash reports are now stored in
%appdata%/DSPREfor better organization and Windows compatibility. - Crash Reporter & Logging: A new system has been implemented to help diagnose and fix issues.
- Improved ROM Handling: General improvements to ROM loading and saving, improving reliability and enabling operations from environments like WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux).
- Startup Checks: DSPRE now checks for required tools and potential conflicts (like OneDrive) on startup and provides clear error messages.
- Platinum Synthovl: A new, graphical side-effect-free implementation for Platinum (now uses overlay_0122.bin).
Quality of Life Improvements
- Open Default ROM: A new setting to instantly launch a project on startup.
- Screenshot Feature: Added to the Event Editor.
- Pop-out Functionality: Available for multiple editors for a more flexible workflow.

UI & Text Clarity:
- Renamed "Encounters" tab to "Sp. Encounters".
- Renamed Trainer AI flags to be more descriptive.
- Overhauled all move effect descriptions for accuracy.
Bug Fixes & Corrections
- Fixed: The "Save Matrix" button now works correctly.
- Fixed: Duplicating overworlds in event files now correctly assigns unique IDs.
- Fixed: The Trainer Editor no longer displays incorrect level-up moves.
- Fixed: The DV/Stat calculation functionality has been completely overhauled and now works correctly.
- Fixed: Various UI bugs have been addressed.
- Fixed: Corrected several wrongly documented script commands during the database refactor.
