PKHeX can't do that. You have to use Gen 3 Mystery Gift Tool for Gen 3 wondercards.

I don’t understand the relevance for mentioning the flashcart and this event.

Just modify your save and inject the wonder card into your save.

Modify the save and inject the wondercard how? Are you talking about using Pokegen/PKHeX or not?

Hm. If I do this, will it corrupt my ds game cartridges? That's the main concern I have about using this method. 

You can't use PKHeX for Gen 3 wondercards.

You have to use Mystery Gift tool

I know PKHeX/Pokegen is for hacking and cheating. The only reason I am using this is for the events. I am a bit concerned about the risks of my game cartridges if I use this method.
