One of main PKVault feature is to passing a pkm from any Gen to any other Gen (if species is compatible with target save). PKVault uses a logic of "variants". When you move a Pikachu from Gen2 to Gen3, a new "variant" of Pikachu is created for this generation (and attached to your pikachu, keeping them synchronized). This logic of variants is required to avoid any data loss, like when you're doing Gen3 -> Gen2 (losing nature, ability, etc). You can see more in the app: Help -> Storage -> Attached pokémons. I ended up testing this by adding a second one in an area I could recruit it but in Origin form. When I left the dungeon it reverted back to base PD so I set it so the Origin form can actually be evolved into. Which worked! It’s kind of a double edged sword since it still reverts forms at the end of the dungeon so to use the Origin form you have to evolve it between every dungeon. But it also means that to do it you don’t have to permanently give up the base one at least. If anyone else figures out how you’re supposed to use them normally though would still really love to know though lol.

Yeah, if you know the original values, you can just put those back in the Records tab. For the ones that were originally 0, setting them back to 0 should be fine. The Italian language shouldn't matter for this.

i wanted to be unbanned because i had some questions about how to check some flags in an emerald save i have (non pirated, i have an authenticated cartridge and used epilogue device manager to extract the save). and im re-looking over at all of this stuff you have on me. I dont know why its considered to be pestering Austin John when by definition pestering is: "to annoy or bother someone continually" and i only brought it up the one time. And this last photo that anubis sent? They say "this person was banned and continuing to bother me" but it says i sent that on January 1st. which is the same day it all went down and the discord screen shot is January 30. And finally You also claim i planned to ban evade with an alt. but i state that i joined to message Porybot about it and it was banned in 2 minutes.... because i told porybot it was my alt. I just had questions about how to use some features but it doesnt seem like i would even get a fair trial regardless of how how i acted in the past. Again i apologize for past me but i dont think i want to join anymore. if you could at least tell me how to deactivate my account, id appreciate it.

I’ve been playing through and loving this hack it genuinely feels like an even *more* complete experience of EoS but I have a question about where and how to get the Origin Palkia and Dialgas the documentation that came with the hack doesn’t have them listed and Giratina doesn’t seem to offer the option to change them so I’m not sure where they’d be.

I deleted my reddit account, but i will not deny any of the things i did. I was too new to the modding scene to understand what you were saying. in the first photo i say "i know what i said, but i was banned for piracy, which i didnt do" and while i didnt pirate bc i purchased the game. It is STILL TECHNICALLY piracy by acquiring a rom without a hacked switch. and that i didnt understand. I used the pksm discord and when i asked about the discord they also showed me that first photo (this picture speaks for itself) when i asked Lucy (dev/mod) about it, this is where i learned that the rom would be piracy. I will apologize to Anubis for dragging this into other platforms. but yes i did delete my reddit account. i dont know how or why you know that... but i got banned from pokemongo for just talking in cheating subreddits. so id had enough of reddit mods and dont use it anymore regardless i wont argue with staff anymore and apologize for past me. is it ok if i use the forums to ask questions about pkhex use or would you prefer me to leave them too

I was wondering can this tool be used to move Gen1 and Gen2 mon in Gen3? If yes, what is the resoult and how it works?

so added the files as you said and got generic error 40, if I add just code.bin and the romfs as said on the site I get generic error 38. trying exefs.bin and romfs.bin once again results in nothing being changed figured out I needed to remove update data from an old post here. still get error code 40 with code.bin and romfs or just romfs by itself ok so figured out my problem. I gave wurmpul a 3rd evolution if it reaches level 69. removing a/0/0 and it works fine now. and nope, for some reason starters are unchanged... edit: ok can't remove all of 0, got it and still nope. no changes stayed after that if someone is willing I can sent the romfs and code.bin. have some errors in things and got no clue what/why it won't work current state, including any of the .cro files crashes it when loading. all of /a and code.bin are fine, but including even dllpoke3select.cro crashes and thus renders then entire thing mute yep, even doing a ton of binary searches for why crashes happen(appearently the .cro are file but some of the garc will crash) I still am seeing 0 changes ok found out I needed to rename .code.bin to code.bin, starters aren't changed but most my other changes are there now

You need to put the folders inside of the mod folders on your 3ds. It tells you how in the ROM hacks section of this website. https://wiki.hacks.guide/wiki/3DS:Game_modification You will need to go into the title ID of the game your hacking. I don't know what they are for xy, but basically just search x/y title ID.

what garc files? as said I have my .3ds that I got from godmode9, and also the exefs and romfs folders which I have edited with pk3ds for all the changes I want(plus extheader for the rebuild). pk3ds will not open or extract/rebuild my .3ds by itself no matter what, so I've used 3DS builder to take the edited files and put them back into a .3ds file which I put on my SD. which when trying the game none of the changes stayed

It might be good to go to the GitHub repo and post an issue then. Either that or switch to one of the forks built for xy in the discord server. I'm not entirely sure that they exist for XY though.

Hi, I was present when you were banned, and then subsequently started to argue with the staff on other platforms, taking your complaints to Twitter and completely missing the point, even going as far to pester completely unrelated content creators like Austin John Plays who bothered to legally dump their ROM. (There were more messages that seem to be missing, presumably you deleted them after the fact, and some on your reddit account if memory serves, although I believe you deleted that entire after being banned from another pokemon subreddit.) Rule 3 states: "R3. Piracy will not be tolerated. Do not share warez (pirated media) or discuss your devious plans for piracy. If you are requesting help with pirated software, you will be escorted out of the server." You explicitly started asking for a way "to get legal ROM of SV without a hacked switch", and you continued to argue that it wasn't piracy to download a pirated copy if you owned the game. The FAQ, various guides, pinned messages in the homebrew help channel, etc. and our server staff regularly explained that you are legally allowed to make backups of your own copies of the game, which requires a hacked switch. Someone was banned literally 5 messages earlier for admitting they obtained a 3DS rom without owning a 3DS, let alone a hacked one, and you still posted "how do I get a legal rom but I don't have a hacked switch". Even after your ban, you stated on your Twitter thread that you attempted to ban evade with an alt account, which is a bannable offence itself. Project Pokemon and PKHeX Dev are sister servers, even if you wanted to appeal on the basis that you were ignorant of the rules in asking that question, owned the game, had successfully hacked your Switch and obtained the ROM, your multi-platform tantrum going after our staff/complaining to reddit that followed was unacceptable. Your ban appeal is denied and will be staying that way. Kindly go elsewhere. See the attached images for some evidence of said tantrum, you can delete messages and accounts, but screenshots are forever

Looking at the screenshots above, it is the server you were banned from) back to original reply below: @Silencer owning the game doesn’t give you the legal right to download a copy elsewhere, gotta dump your own copy of the game/data. I understand tone is hard to convey in text so do understand I’m not being snarky in any way: if you disagree and want to challenge the current legal framework, go right ahead and challenge it in court (and also lobby for a change to the law). But until your case is settled (and also becomes law), do understand that the server needs to protect themselves by complying with the current legal framework.

I made a hack for pokemon Y, but the changes don't save whenever I try and build a rom no matter what. pk3ds build options are greyed out no matter what and rebuilding with any other program just doesn't have any of the changes what I run the game on my 3DS. I have the edited exefs and romfs folders and the build of the .bin from pk3ds export, as well as a dump of my rom but no idea what to do. also the OR module bit makes no sense to me, I do have a modded 3ds so do I just ignore that?
