When I saw that there was going to be a remake, I was excited. I got up and just, was excited. The questions simple, how did you react when you came here and saw those two beautiful remake logos staring you in the face? Were you happy? Did you yell? Say it here!

He says this site was the first to have announced the thing... and I never check the frontpage. Bummer... but still... exciting indeed :D

I was actually in my room, connected to the Internet with my DSi when I was supposed to be sleeping. I came to this site and learned about the remakes.

My reaction: I sat up and started hollering at my cat. Stuff like, "Whoa, cat, it's finally here! 10 years and finally Nintendo gets smart and makes one!" She didn't understand the greatness of this situation, apparently.
I had to get up and relax before going back to bed. :p

I was seein' it and thought that it was a sick, cruel, and unsual joke by someone, but when I saw the evidence that it would be announced on Sunday Pokemon I became a bit happier... I was looking at the thread title, and i thought it's probably another fake? i took a closer look, so much energy, and excitement swelled up inside me, that i burst off my lazy ass, ran around the house screaming at my dog, and speedily shouting it out to my family, and friends.

Hmm? This was by far Nintendo's most popular game in Pokémon franchise. Whats to dislike about the old GS?

This made my day. I enjoyed the red/blue remakes solely because they were full of nostalgia from when I first played them so many years ago. I hope the g/s remakes will have that same effect. It'll be nice to collect the 16 badges again, nab the red gyrados, and face red's rediculously overpowered pokemon!

I wonder if they might add an effect so that way you could now see your other 8 badges from Kanto. I hated how you could only see your Johto badges.

I am going to pre-order Heart Gold when I heard that these games were going to finally come out I was freakin out. I always loved the Gold and Silver versions and then they go and make these. It is friggin awesome.

I first saw the news on Serebii. I was so excited because G/S were my favourite Pokemon games, even though the later games had MUCH better quality, because there was two regions in them and because Lugia is awesome.
