Be patient, I am super green at this. Anyway, I got this shiny Charizard I looked on RNG to generate via Pkhex on my FireRed Rom. Specs: Timid, Shiny--IVs: 31//31/26/31/30/31 (I want this to be my starter not an egg) Whenever I put the data on Pkhex, it looks like the Pokemon is legal. However, when I try to set it on my party box, it's like the program uncheckes the shiny characteristic. RNG tells me it's a shiny Pokemon with literally the exact same specs. What do I do? Here is the screenshot from RNG with the data and the shiny mark (!!!) IMG_3271.HEIC Here is when I check for legality after putting all the specs in order and marking the shiny characteristic. Hello, I am trying to RNG on DeSMuME and have run into the following issues: 1) RNG Reporter - I cannot find the values for VCount, Timer), GxStat, and VFrame. What type of DS do I put in for "DS Type"? 2) I would like to know when the "second"(time/clock)comes into effect. Is it as soon as I open the game on the emulator? 3) Is there a LUA script that shows the RNG? 4) Anywhere to read up on emulation RNG? Having a hard time finding anything dedicated to emulation RNG. 5) When would I hold "Keypresses"? I know I am asking alot of questions, but I am sure this thread will help someone else in the future. Also, I tried downloading RAM Watch(IDK what it does, but it seemed useful) but Kaphotics webpage does not allow you to download it anymore(404'd). All Smogon links lead to the same 404'd page. As my signature says, I've been trying to get an Adamant shiny Magikarp by the method 'thetorsoboy' hosted on youtube, with the RNG. Most of the time, the Magikarp is natured as Relaxed, or Docile, or Calm... Never Adamant. Is there a way to make the nature you want work? D; (also, I tried with an Everstone ditto, and that seems to throw it off completely...) Also, how does legit Shinyness work in PokéSAV? I can never get a PID generated that would be an honest shiny, let alone the gender I want, and I've used countless variations of /desirable/ IVs. I used my TID/SID/etc to get an alternate SID, and yes, it did register as my Pokemon in that I could rename it, but not as such that it recognized it completely (Egg Apparently Hatched). Is there an easier way to do this? @_@;
