I get a lot of pleasure from training pokemon and reading their summaries and knowing that I raised that pokemon. But there's a limit, I hate and can't stand breeding for good 'mons. It's too strenuous a process for me, EV training is doable but breeding for IV's is HARD. Don't even mention using the RNG abuse method, iv'e tried and consider it too complicated for me to do, my timing is always off so it's not for me. So, I just hack. For some it's normal but I find it hard to get pleasure from hacked 'mons. I want to find solutions so I can continue hacking but not to an extent where it's too 'fake' of a 'mon for me. All suggestions are welcome. I've been thinking about hacking perfect Ditto, one for each nature and making them hold everstone so I can breed and settle for the IV's I get. I think it would help, what do you think of my plan?

my bro accidentally got a bad egg while i was testing out some codes (he agrees to test them as log as he gets to use it if it works) anyway i made a coder for a pikachu meant to be reeeaaally close to a perfect "middle-scale version" of both Ash's Pikachu and the surfing pikachu (meaning, assuming ash's pikachu is lvl 100, put their stats exactly in the middle, use half of each pikachu's movesets, etc.) but it came out a bad egg. how can i remove it?

I mean, I check them with the legality checker and everything, make sure to normalize their trash bytes, everything turns up fine until I throw the codes to my AR and fire it up. What's going wrong?

Hi, everyone, and sorry in advance if I posted in the wrong section or something! Okay, I need you guys's help with something. Maybe this will be a bit of a tl;dr thread, but please don't go away! I just downloaded PokeSav and decided to try it out. Since this was my first try, I decided to follow a Tutorial on how to use PokeSav I found on YouTube; in fact, I watched two different videos, but there was no difference between them on the following of the steps. Just as a reference, these are the videos I watched: As a test, I simply edited one party Pokemon to a Kingdra, and tried to make it as valid as possible; to do that, here's what I filled in: EVs: None. Let's say it was just caught. IVs: I checked "All max" and then modified them, so that only one would be a 31. The others were something around 20, 17, 19, 7 and 8. Same with the stats edit. Location: GTS - Yeah, let's just pretend I got it from someone using Wi-Fi. No problems there, right? ID: ... now it's where things probably got wrong. I assumed this Pokemon's ID should be one different to my own, considering I got it from the GTS, so I just typed in five random numbers. Secret ID: I didn't put anything here. Perhaps it was a mistake... Then again, I wouldn't know what to put. OT: Jon. I don't know why. Let's say I got it from someone named Jon on Wi-Fi. These are all the fields I assume could have messed up my edit. Everything else is okay. To sum it up, "Met at Level" and "Stats Edit - Level" where the same, "Trainer Gender" was male (even though my trainer is a female: I assumed this is related to the OT), "Poke ball caught with" was an Ultra Ball, "Ability" was Swift Swim, moves were Aurora Beam, Signal Beam, Brine and Rain Dance (PPs correctly inserted), "Date Met" I just put year 2009, "Friendship" 0, "Atribute" Mild/Class Second/Gender Female/Shiny checked; and nothing else was modified. I'm sorry I can't attach the AR code I got. Okay, so, since my AR Code Manager doesn't seem to detect my AR DS for nothing, I have to manually insert all those numbers into my AR as a new code. It took me a lot of time, believe me. I own a copy of Diamond, by the way, and I made sure to type the correct code. I press L+R to activate the code, and when I check out my Pokemon... I see a Bad Egg in the first slot. The funny thing is, it says "Egg obtained in GTS", and "Item: Leftovers". Please, help? I don't know what I did wrong. Also, let me know if I missed any information I should provide you! Thanks a lot in advance!

Does anyone know what exactly makes a code for a Pokemon come out as a Bad Egg? I recently made a Garchomp that had normal stats, IVs, EVs, Hex Values, etc and it turned out as a Bad Egg. I enter these codes by hand, so it's not exactly worth 15 minutes of typing to get a Bad Egg... So does anyone know? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what is going on, I've remade them 2 times and they both are still bad eggs in PBR. This only happened with Kingdra and Salamence, all the other 40 or so Pokemon I made work fine. I've made sure to get the 85h right (They both are set to hatch from eggs so its 00, and yes, they are in Poke Balls), date met and date received are the same day, no nickname... the EVs on both are 252/232/24... What's wrong? EDIT: They also both have legal movesets. Standard Smogon movesets and item choice. EDIT 2: Kingdra suddenly worked... no idea what to do about Salamence, though. EDIT 3: Salamence finally worked. Not sure what happened.

Ok so Im wondering what makes a hacked pokemon a bad egg in PBR. I know one reason, if the IVs and EVs are too high. I want to use my Celebi, but it is hacked. I didnt IV and EV hack it and my friend used a Pokemon modifier on his Diamond and traded to me. The only thing unlegit about it is that it says that it was Apparentley met at Mt.Coronet and Lv.13" Would I still be able to use it in PBR offline?
