As Season 3 of Ranked Battles closed, the players that participated are awarded various items, based on their tier level. Don't think that's accurate. The Meowth gift which I received in-game (not injected from wonder card via PKHeX) is not flagged illegal on PKHeX. @Kaphotics can you respond to this? AliceTheAlice reported previously about the Mew having memories. For the record, my Meowth has memories as well. Apparently whoever I traded it too, has memories has well. Also to be clear, the Meowth from when I received it (right as I received it, before I used it in battle, and it's the same Meowth) has a set of memories, but they're rather different. Note: The Meowth did go straight to my party tho. Don't know if it'll have no memories if went straight to PC. Given the memories for the same Meowth is different across different points of the playthrough, and the fact that the wonder cards for both Meowth and Mew doesn't have memory data, I guess memories are gained and change throughout play-through? Given that my Meowth does have memories after right after it was received, maybe set some dummy memories, if no memory is asked of by the wonder card? (not that it truly matters, since it probably gains memories through play-through) edit: so I have a Mew with memories, and it's not flagged illegal. @AliceTheAlice check if your Mew is illegal on the latest update, and if so, tell us why it's illegal. I don't think memories (or the lack thereof) is the issue here.

If a legality check is ever added to Home, these ones will be deleted immediately (assuming that's how it's handled.) However, let's face it - that will never happen. For those who actually care (as posted above): Starting with Gen 8's non-Delivery Man approach to Mystery Gift mons, the server copy is downloaded (the file here on this page) but before the mon is added to your game - your save is read for OT details and the memories are written into the mon (I am unsure if there are other changes.) This is why I am pointing out that a LEGIT Mew in the current PKHeX doesn't/didn't show a Check but instead a Fail for legal check (which makes sense because PKHeX also uses this download as the template for legal.)

DISCLAIMER FROM MODS (DO NOT REMOVE THIS DISCLAIMER): 1) [Added via edit] I’ve been told it is patched, so locked 2) There's a chance that (in a future) people can get banned for using this method. I (theSLAYER) personally don't recommend it, but I also know we can't stop people. File info: This is a game file for Ultra Moon, in which I injected the shiny form of every new Pokemon in gen 8, including Meltan and Melmetal. They are all shiny. I have separately put the non-shiny forms of the legendaries of this generation in Box 4, with the shiny forms (the only illegal Pokemon) of the legendaries in box 3 with the rest of the Pokemon. They seem illegal, however once they are transferred, they will work fine as I have used Batch Editor to change the version and locations of the Pokemons' origins. Above I have attached a picture of what it looks like in the editor in Ultra Moon compared to how it looks in Sword and Shield. All the Pokemon will be legal to use online except for shiny Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus, and can be transferred to sword and shield by putting this save file onto Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, then putting them all into Pokemon Bank, and then transferring them to Pokemon HOME. At that point, they can be put into Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield and used online. They will not appear to be the Pokemon they are listed as until they reach HOME, where the data can be recognized. What This Has: All Pokemon between #808 and #890, shiny, and copies of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus non-shiny All of the above Pokemon in National Pokedex order All of the above Pokemon with 6 Perfect IVs Due to the Form Argument being difficult to manage in batch editor, I put in Shiny Galarian Yamask instead of Runerigus. If anyone can help to make a .pk7 file for Runerigus, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on this post. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. NOTE: The shiny forms of Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus are located in box 3, and you may have some difficulty transporting them from your game to Bank, and Bank to HOME, as they are shiny Galar legendaries and therefore illegal, I apologize if that is the case. If you want me to add any Galarian Pokemon, just ask. I will likely update this file once the DLC is released in June, and then again in Fall of 2020 for both the Isle of Armor DLC and the Crowned Tundra DLC. After Testing, I have decided to announce two things: The Pokebank blank screen error occurs while disconnecting, not saving, so it's safe to save, and then directly try to import to home after restarting. You MUST rename the file 'main' before importing it or it will not work In the Batch Editor, with whatever Pokemon you choose to use, type in these commands(in place of X but the box number) =Box=X .PID=$rand .PID=$shiny .SID=$rand .EncryptionConstant=$rand If you doubt it worked, open a sword and shield window in PKHeX and drag it over, and press View then Set on the pokemon, if there is no illegal symbol, you were successful. I just got back from a short break from PKHeX and Project Pokemon. Not to bring up any controversy, but I’ll be available for probably at least a week straight starting most likely this Wednesday, as my school is having early dismissal tomorrow due to worries about Corona, with a chance of a full break. PLEASE send direct messages with any updates on files that don’t work, for example if you find a new one. Everyone that helps will get mentioned on this post, if you send a file or an update. Thank you all so much, I never thought I’d be getting 3,000 downloads on my first file upload! update!!! TO ALL THAT HAVE SEEN THE BLAINES VIDEO ON MISSINGNO, I AM WORKING ON GETTING A PK7 FOR IT THAT I WILL UPLOAD HERE. IT MAY NOT WORK, USE THIS FILE AT YOUR OWN RISK -Aster edit: Credit to @Sienna Uchiha for all the help!- 452 comments

Whether from SKY3DS, eshop installed game, or from the real cart, CFW is required to decrypt the save to be usable with PKHeX, and CFW is required to decrypt and restore the save into the above mentioned. While Gateway3DS is another flashcart, it effectively installs a form of CFW onto your 3DS, which at that point you might as well go for the free and user friendly CFW. You say that you want to "figure out how to work with the save file", but I'm telling you now if you stay on OFW, that is unlikely. While there was a method to decrypt XY/ORAS (no SM/USUM) saves from a powersaves dump, there was no way to modify that save and inject it into the games, cause Datel/Powersaves don't allow custom edits. One real alternative would be to use the hardware that enables editing and restoring (I forgot the name of it), but it only works for Japan 3DS retail carts, no exceptions. Since you have SKY3DS (and I imagine not a Japan 3DS nor cart), that wouldn't help you one bit. So in other words, you have no real (known) alternative but to install CFW ><

If there is no issues am I able to trade/battle within Sword and Shield or on Home?

This Pokémon is a rare variant that is capable of Gigantamaxing, and can only be obtained via Max Raid Battles in the Wild Area. While not always available for capture as it could not be found in a den in the Wild Area, an event from February 07, 2019 to ? made it more commonly found, by having it appear in dens normally not associated with it. The Amped form can be found by Sword hosts, and the Low Key form can be found by Shield hosts. To be able to encounter this, user's Switch must be connected to the internet, with the Mystery Gift>Get Wild Area News option used during the event period.. At the Next Generation World Hobby Fair '20 Winter, players get to experience Max Raid Battles at a "Max Raid Battle Experience Corner". When a player challenges Gigantamax Coalossal at that corner, they're given a serial code to receive a Gigantamax Coalossal. When a player challenges Gigantamax Lapras at that corner, they're given a serial code to receive a Gigantamax Lapras. The official Japanese website claims it is possible to experience it without a Nintendo Switch or the game software. It is unclear if such players would receive a serial code. This Pokémon can be received by players after they complete their first Champion's Cup, then receiving it from a NPC in the Battle Tower lobby. Besides the Type: Null, they also received Memories that can be use to change it's evolution's typing. The Type: Null that was received this way cannot be shiny.
