Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

  1. Got it, the Event Flags are 147 for Ho-oh and 148 for Lugia. This should unlock the respective events. Update: changing this alone doesn't help. The event flags for the bells and the Kimono girls' location are also needed. 279 and 581 need to be set for Ho-oh and 280 and 580 for Lugia. I'll update if anything more is needed. These can be changed in PKHeX through SAV -> Event Flags -> Research -> (set flag number)
  2. Oh my gosh, I finally cracked it. Turns out the issue where saving crashes was due to the debug not generating a save file on boot unlike the retail games. Once I imported my save file for base game Moon it now saves correctly with no issues! Battles still reset the game, but at least I can finally contribute some of these enigmatic mons. Here's the four mons you start with in the earliest of the debugs. The later ones have their own unique debug Pokemon so I'll have to look at those too. 003 - Venusaur - 0052C13272B0.pk7 005 - Charmeleon - 34DC20962A23.pk7 007 - Squirtle - 5E27935010BD.pk7 025 - Pikachu - 0EF8958FC86D.pk7
  3. More precisely, I've been trying to encounter Lugia in the Whirl Islands but despite replacing the Rainbow Wing and Clear Bell with the Silver Wing and Tidal Bell, only the Ho-oh event triggers (the monk stops me in the WI). I tried using the same save file with SoulSilver, but still, only Ho-oh appears. It may have to do with the fact that this was originally a HeartGold save, in which case I would like to know how to change the version of the save. PKHeX doesn't have either functionality as far as I've checked but if it doess, please inform me.
  4. Oh, really? I didn't know about that! With that I managed to finally get the memory dumps I needed! Unfortunately, the RAM to PKX extractors I use don't seem to work for these. Is there another possible tool I can use?
  5. Released update r1.0.3! Sorry for the long wait. A lack of motivation can do that to you. But this should fix at least a few of the remaining issues. Edit- Oh yeah, I kinda forgot to comment on the setup move changes. This change was made a while ago. With setup as it was, you could easily win almost any battle by spamming setup, since the AI won't usually switch. To compensate at least a little bit, most setup moves now only have 1 PP. Considering how the lack of EVs nerfs defensive Pokemon already, I think this is a fair trade. It also prevents the AI from stupidly just spamming setup moves and not actually attacking, making AI setup sweepers potentially more dangerous, and definitely more consistent. Moves with 1 PP also can't have their PP raised with items, so they're stuck at 1. Double Team now also acts as a copy of Agility instead of raising evasion, making it more useful and less cheesy. The one downside is that since PP isn't refunded after battles, you'll have to continually refill the PP of setup moves in the field. But since setup isn't generally necessary for wild Pokemon and normal trainers, and since PP-restoring items are more accessible thanks to the Veilstone Dept. Store, I think it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
  6. Ah, that makes sense. Oh well. Yeah a patch+translation would be awesome, would definitely make things much smoother lol. I didn't know pkhex had that, i'll have to give it a look, thanks!
  7. Oh that sounds like it could be something. I can't do any save editing, but I could do the sysbot thing. What info do I enter to the sysbot?
  8. Oh I see. Yeah, none of the already caught Pokémon were shiny. So if I got this right, all the same PIDs for non-shiny Pokémon are all available naturally in the game regardless of what your TID/SID is? *Just* not on shiny Pokémon, cause that's when only a set range of PIDs are available.
  9. Oh cool! Good to know. So do I need to find a new PID for the already caught Pokémon that I now put the new TID/SID on? Cause I assume the old PID was chosen for them to correlate to my old TID, and now a new PID need to match the new TID, right?
  10. I've been trying to get Raikou or Entei forever, in order to catch Ho-Oh, and I don't have the patience to keep trying. Does anyone know what flags do I have to set in PKHeX so Eusine gives me the Rainbow feather, letting me catch Ho-oh?
  11. Oh, I had almost completely forgotten I'd even made this thread! I'm happy to say, though, that I tried the older version of PKHeX mentioned and it works perfectly. Thank you!
  12. Oh I see but honestly, I can't wait to see what you have to add to the "And More..." section, many minor updates are good for example Changing the Main Title when you defeat Team Skull from Manectric to Skuntank Adding Amp Plains to the Job Notice Board and many more I hope to see in the future
  13. Oh, true! You could've just been 'lucky' getting two pokémon with HT 0 below odds, and then I guess unlucky with 18 000 transfers to finally get the HT 255. I checked your linked threads, interesting findings for sure. Thanks for the helpful research! I'll be transferring Pokémon through Bank to Home and then to SV. How do you transfer and check the pokémon as fast as possible?
  14. oh the Minor Update? I hope it will go up to a bit past the ending of Chapter 12
  15. Oh I see, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info! I guess the only thing we can still find out now, is if it's even possible at all, to actually randomly get HT/WT 0 from Home, and then ofc sending the Pokémon to SV and get size 0 the regular way (as intended by Home). I guess it's probably either 1/16512 odds, or locked to not be able to get size 0 at all. I'm assuming it's the same odds as SV though, so I guess it's just a matter of time until the first person shows up to state that they randomly got size 0 through Home. It can be a new thing, just like shiny hunting legendaries, but instead finally seeing the Mini mark after 16 000 transfers
  16. Oh, you totally misunderstood. I personally wasn't at all looking to actually edit a Pokémon after it entered Home. I don't have a CFW Switch and I as I wrote in my original post, I'm not interested in editing a Pokémon with Home trackers and troublesome things like that. I was just curious of the mechanics of how the Home tracker works and where the size gets assigned, which is apparently in Home, and this I had no idea of. I thought it was in SV. Well, that's good to know.
  17. Oh I see, is there any work around on this so i can trade it back to my game?
  18. Oh I see. But I read that before the 3.0 update, if you transfer any Bank Pokémon through Home to PLA, it would always get size 0. But you're saying that your Pokémon entered Home for the first time in v 2.0, and then before the 3.0 version came out, you didn't actually transfer the Pokémon onwards to any game, they kept just hanging out in different Home accounts during all that time? Now, after the 3.0 update, did you transfer then from Home to any game? If so, what was the first game you transfered them to after they arrived to Home? Trying to figure out when and where size 0 was assigned
  19. Oh really!? That could be good news for me! The Pokémon that you got size 0 on, you transfered those from Bank to Home for the first time after the 3.0 update, right? And what game/games did you transfer those from and to?
  20. Oh got it can you add me on Discord? Woah Boi#2645
  21. Oh no, I already did it on my end, so now all that's left is sending them from my Bank to your Home
  22. Oh hey that worked on Snivy! Thank you! So now what about the other 3? What number do I change the last two digits of each PID to since the rest have a 50/50 gender ratio?
  23. So like i wrote in the title i did find something that feels odd to me. I did use a save game of Pokemon Sword for this. And on that i did check the Encounter Database for Zygard. Specificly on 2 of the Event distributed once. The first one was the Shiny one from Sun. I was able to change it into all of the forms it has, meaning 50%, 50-C, 10% and 10%-C without having any problems. But now when i try to do the same with a non Shiny on the same Save File i got into some problems. Specificly the non shiny i used was the Event one available for all of the Gen 6 games. It has "XYZ" as OT and "05026" as TID. For the Normal 50% Form nothing was wrong. But when i did try to change it's form into the 10%, 10%-C or 50%-C than it says that it is not legal because of the ribbons it owns? I mean the 50% one has the exact same ribbon but nothing is wrong. As far as I see it's just the gen 6 ribbons it has a problem with but i don't understand it since it has gen 6 as origin game, Omega ruby to be specific. So as far as I know I can go with any Zygard to Route 16 and reconstruct it. That's why it let me change the Shiny one in all of its forms. But should the same not apply to a non Shiny Zygard? I mean technically that would be a gen 6 Zygard traded up to gen 7 and than going with it to Route 16 and also reconstruct it. Oh also i just did try if i remove the Ribbons that it says should be removed and than it says they are legal whats confusing me even more. So a Gen 6 Zygard with Ribbons from gen 6 is illegal as a 10%, 10%-C or 50%-C but without the Ribbons it's legal? Pls if that's not a bug could someone pls explain what iam missing. Also sorry if that the wrong spot to ask for and thanks in advance :)
