Wild and Gift Zygarde only have access to the ability Aura Break. However, upon collecting a certain amount of cells (depending on existing Zygarde), an existing Zygarde can be fused together with said cells, to obtain a Power Construct Zygarde. Only Power Construct Zygarde are able to interchange between 10% and 50% forms. Additionally, they gain access to the Complete Form (in-battle only form, which appears when HP drops below half). As wild or in-game gift Zygarde in Gen 6 and 7 are unable to be obtained shiny, the 2018 Legends: Shiny Zygarde was used for this entry. In Pokémon White, if the player doesn't capture Zekrom at N's Castle, due to having a full party and full PC Box, Zekrom can be encountered at the highest level of the Dragonspiral Tower after becoming Champion. In Pokémon Black 2, after the player defeats N in the ruins of N's Castle, the player will be given a Dark Stone. When the Dark Stone is brought to the peak of the Dragonspiral Tower, Zekrom will awaken, and can be challenged to a battle. Zekrom cannot be encountered shiny in Generation 5.

The Old Sea Map was only available as an event Key Item exclusively for players with a Japanese copy of Pokémon Emerald, which allowed players to reach the Faraway Island, and ultimately battle the Mythical Mew.
