Ok.

I doubt most, if not any, of those politicians are true idiots. Was Bush an idiot? To many people he was, but to the elites, he was doing his job: he started a war against the Muslim nations, not simply just for oil, but to usher in something that was of ancient agenda.

Welcome to modern world: this age has bred too much trivialness that no one pays attention to where the actual trouble is. You won't get allegorical paintings or works from long ago: instead you get teenage romance junk, sex novels, and even vampires that sparkle. We're experiencing the decline now: but it started I believe from the late 19th century. Culture couldn't have gotten any worse: I don't know what's going to happen in the future. And yet people think we're so advanced. I really don't see it.

It's not so much that these leaders are greedy (well, they are), and the "I could do the job better if I were up there" kind of mentality brews in nearly anyone. The problem is that they're all part of some major family lines and are assigned to change the world we live in into their slave system. They're puppets: not real leaders. Anyone NOT part of that system would be dealt with before they even get any recognition. Any leader, no matter how bad they are, would not want to self-destruct their nation. But apparently modern leaders do: they allow self-destructive laws to take place and further change the political climate of this world. They're not just bad, they're bad ON PURPOSE. And we all THINK we have a choice.

Democracy is the god that failed: I'd be worried about the whole Western "spread democracy" mantra: it did more harm than it did good. To the West, they ate their own medicine, but in the East, they were imposed foreign ideas and now it's Communist central.

Her name is Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun. This is a more popular self-portrait of her: she painted these self-portrait when she was like 35ish or something, and still looks so young. She's a court painter for Marie Antoinette, and one of those underrated women artists. Nothing really special. She went to Russia during the Revolution to escape its bloodshed, but came back during Napoléon's reign... but still did not fully support it because she's a Royalist at heart (being the court painter of Marie Antoinette, you know...)

The one I uploaded is rather obscure: it's the first time I saw that version of her.

Eh I know what you mean: and if you do get involved: do what you can to provide a better future for Canada. If you know what's wrong, remember the priorities. You won't completely mitigate people's grievances: who would? Especially with the dangerous factionalism that comes with government and the inherent scumbag nature of politicians: they always try to bring people down... but as long as you hold on to a vision, you can endure all pain just to see it done.

Borrow it from a local library or something... if you have the time to.

That's exactly why monarchies are better: less likely for partisanship or bribery because the monarch is the head of the state. The difference b/w America and Britain: they have similar government, but Britain's head of state is the monarch, representing the nation, while America's head of state represents... Walmart, McDonald's, capitalism... whatever private interest group the president is invested in is his (perhaps her in the future... ugh) priority. And it's less stable thanks to the ever changing head supposedly voted by people's interests (it really isn't though if you know what Electoral College is). I have problems with many monarchs, as I know there were good and bad, but the system of monarchy shouldn't be challenged: it's just what humans were designed for: taking that away means it will be replaced with a substitute (and that substitute just pales in comparison).

Hidden agenda? You don't want to go there... <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue.png" alt=":P" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

-

Nah, that's a lie. Nobody understands me perfectly <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue.png" alt=":P" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

But, it's fine. I know you can read it and comprehend the words, possibly even its context.

NO thanks to school I learned history... by myself. In a school environment I hardly learned anything: everything was through my own research that I realised a lot of what we're taught was wrong. Especially American schools: they're known to skew history in their favour. I know many countries do the same, but I feel Americans excessively villify their enemies during wars. Lol @ American Revolution... it's really a bunch of spoiled brats (the colonists) trying to oust their mother (Britain) just because the mother is doing what she is supposed to do. I like how they call the American rebels patriots, when they're actually rebels. No revolution are inherently good, and American Revolution is no exception.

-

Another thing though: if you like, you should try studying history. You'll find a time when things were more community based: you know, times these sophisticated First Worlders like to call "backwards" and how you Americans are now all-so-mighty and "advanced" because of technology? With all this extended life you all lost your soul and happiness: instead it's carnal materialism, corporatism, and just another form of bondage. Not too long ago, like perhaps in the 1950s or so, American lifestyle wasn't motivated around fear: everyone would say hello around the block. Nowadays, we all just ignore each other and flip our remotes to find when the next show is running. We build fences now, we don't even want friendly conversations: just live the sedentary life and you fear each other... but for what? Why isn't it safe to leave your houses unlocked when you go out?

I may be spitting out too advanced of concepts right now, but you'll understand when you grow up.

Everywhere has their own share of problems: wherever you are situated you find a way to make the world a better place. Unfortunately, we're losing ourselves: we don't better ourselves anymore: it's about enjoying distractions and forgetting you ever had responsibilities: hence irresponsible parents. Why learn how to do things when you can rely on technologies made by OTHER PEOPLE to do it for you? Just as how OTHERS made your things, they have the right to take it from you. Thought of that before?

Of course, you Americans just hand over your child to the state once you sign that Marriage License. Some priests think it's against God to marry without a license... what kind of a dumb idea is that? Who said marriage was just a piece of paper? S. Korea is trying too hard to be like America: they are losing themselves.

My point: don't look for a safe haven outside of America: many places are worse. But that's kind of why I left America -___-

-

Of course, Korea is a lot worse at times. There's no place in this entire world where there is safety. Times have changed. First off, my nation is divided. The South follows the American form of republican government, while the North is basically George Orwell's 1984 in real life (read: hell), and you will get executed publicly if you do ANYTHING (which includes not worshiping your leader as if he's god sincerely enough). The generation now in South Korea has introduced this ugly thing you call K-POP, which is ruining our tradition of filial piety and stuff (Joseon culture was based on Confucianism). You don't act or dress like a K-Pop freak, you'll be ostracised. It's total Sodom and Gomorrah here as well: don't count on anything to be better.

He's just young. Oriental people tend to look younger than their Occidental counterparts (Orient = East, Occident = West). If you watched the actual drama he'd look more masculine. I was told I look a bit feminine as well.

-

You're funny mate, quite funny. It's kind of cute in the sig... looks like you really wanted to be in there.

What colleges are you looking forward to?

-

Wow PP kind of crashed and stuff, so I could not read anything. Honestly though, the bipartisan system in US is just a facade: it's really two wings on the same bird. I don't get why Christians must vote Republicans: neither of the two parties work. I suppose Republican is closer to conservatism and values as they would say, but you know me: I hate that name, as republican in another term means anti-monarchy. Democrats are even worse.

I know what you mean: I had that same feeling of disloyalty for America and even for Korea itself: but I'm trying to find a way to improve Korea instead. Maybe one day... things will change. But I won't sit around and idling.

Yes, he's very noble in my opinion. I really like him. He never wanted to be king, but still pulled his weight very effectively, opposed Hitler from the very beginning while his brother actually endorsed him, and got a lot of public support. Britain was really sad that day when he died. King's Speech is kind of funny: I liked it.

^--- there's one

How funny, everyone knows the name Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of UK then but nothing about the reigning monarch? Shame! Yes, this is the king of Britain during WWII (not to mention all her Dominion, such as CANADA), so more the reason you should know about him <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

He was shy, had stutter problems, and didn't think he could lead the nation. And yet, he was brave enough to stay in London despite the bombings of Germans and won the respect of many for putting his life in danger. He put a lot of effort during the war, and proved to be quite effective, but alas, the toll of war stress got to him (and smoked too much) and he died at 1952. His daughter Elizabeth is now the queen.

Yeah Sohyeon was poisoned and stuff... and then Injo frames Sohyeon's wife... -__-

There was a good king much later, by the name of Jeongjo. He reigned from 1776 to 1800. Interesting yearset, eh? Some good kings are remembered but Jeongjo too died mysteriously.

Can't find anyone who fits that quote more than HM George VI of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Emperor of India. He was the king right before our current Elizabeth II. Know anything about him? He was the reluctant king of Britain... after his brother Edward VIII abdicated due to his marriage to the American socialite Wallis Simpson. I'm sure there's plenty of other historical examples, but none really popped up into my head before George VI.

WWII... if anyone says that was "the good war"... I wouldn't say so, especially due to the number of lives lost, changes within the political climate (though it was instigated from WWI)... all leading to this disastrous modern world and the arms race.

-

Injo had a son, the Crown Prince Sohyeon... who was in China (after he willingly volunteered to be a hostage by the invading Manchus) and learned about Christianity. He tried to bring it to Joseon along with Western science and had all sorts of great idea regarding reforms, but he died mysteriously: his father Injo being the chief suspect cause. The King then framed Sohyeon's wife and had her executed before anyone can say anything. Injo is seriously not a good king in my book... and we still talk about him in Korea today for a politician model NOT to follow. Maybe he, like Louis-Philippe, thought he could do a better job than his predecessor... but even then he still has a temple name and the one who actually did a good job taking care of the nation (Gwanghae) does not. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

In Pokemon B2W2 Alder's grandson appears... in Black he has Latios/Garchomp/Volcarona, in White he has Latias/Dragonite/Volcarona. What?! Why are legendaries under regular trainer battles again?

Yeah definitely, Germany sounds nice. Good people always get the boot in history it seems... if they're lucky their name is cleared in later future, but some unfortunate ones are still tarnished with bad names (George III for the Americans come into mind).

Sure historical talks are interesting. Injo, the king that came after Gwanghaegun, kind of reminds me of Louis-Philippe I, King of the French (Orleanist candidate), who ousted his royalist ultra-conservative cousin, Charles X, and fostered the July Revolution. Louis-Philippe really thought he could do a better job than his Legitimist cousin... but didn't turn out so well (his regime an awkward combination of monarchy and revolutionary France) and he just left France during the 1848 revolution, fostering yet another republic (which gave Louis-Napoleon a chance to become president, which he did... and became Emperor in 1852).

The 1000 char thing is really limiting me from writing all I want. Oh well, I guess I can explain more eventually. I just like this picture of Crown Prince Gwanghae during his younger years, as portrayed in the 2003 Drama Immortal Admiral Yi Soon Shin. He was the good one in the middle between two bad kings (well to be fair Seonjo, his father, did do some good things before the Imjin War, but the war really messed him up, I don't know how to really give a fair view of him, especially for rewarding those who loyally defended him with execution and accusations of treason...), but his reputation turned out bad later. But he was wise and I don't think he was bad really, just tried to be more realistic. The other king that didn't get a temple name was Yeonsangun... but he was a real tyrant before his brother Jungjong took over after a coup that ousted him. How Gwanghae is in the same vein... history is unfair I guess.

I just like his "what?" look <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh.png" alt="xD" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Eh, I'll say Gen IV was pretty balanced at its ending. I just think the strangely polarised perfect distribution stats messed a lot up, but at least we have some feasible counter to Infernape who I thought was kind of too hard hitting.

My avatar? 조선 광해군 (Gwanghaegun of Joseon), he was a good prince, better than his father (who really turned out to be a bad king during the Imjin War), and finally became king in the 1600s and was a diplomatic expert to keep Ming and the invading Manchus in check, so he can stop Korea from going into another war. Unfortunately, factionalism was high, and Westerner faction raised a coup-de-tat and overthrew the guy, and replaced him with his cousin Injo, who was a really really really bad king. If you want I can talk all day about history and stuff... but Gwanghaegun here did not receive a temple name (hence the -gun suffix) because he was overthrown. And then they replace him with an incompetent king that led to the creation of the Qing Dynasty.

Wow didn't know you were into that kind of thing.

Ok classics. Western classics? I was referring to Victorian and perhaps a few contemporaries to be honest... especially since the 19th century was the surging of Romanticism. Though I guess you can call them classics, like works from Charlotte Bronte and all. Classics... you'd need to look to Greeks, like Iliad/Odyssey by Homer... Aeneid by Virgil, etc... they get hard to read! That's the classic times. Unless you want to go all the way to Christendom works during Medieval times...

When it's Eastern classics, it's all stuff by Confucius and the likes... Chinese literary works like the Art of War and all...

Because they are more straightforward... that and OU Pokemon tend to have 4x weaknesses.

Actually, statistics say that Gen V BALANCED the metagame that input power creep in Gen IV. Am I supposed to believe that when everyone and their mother (literally) got at least 130 base power and over? I know Gen IV had tons of powerful monsters, but it became more apparent to me in Gen V. I don't know...

^--- look at spoilers. They're either Pokemon who have not too good attack stats, already learn EQ or already learn Drill Run naturally. Not even Dodrio gets it... but at least Fearow can claim one thing over it now. So many Pokemon who wanted a Ground attack could have gotten it... SO MANY. But no, Trollfreak likes to give moves but deny it to essentials.

I prefer being alone for the time being since I'm awkward.

Not a problem.

That's because Zweilous is a mid stage: it wasn't designed to have the strongest Outrage, but statistically it just does. For some people, Ninjask works so amazingly. For me, it never works. I don't get it.

Heh, I think Conkeldurr is even scarier in my honest opinion. People keep saying "Haxorus is easily revenged with its paltry 97 speed". Paltry? That like outpaces nearly everything I use... I know it's my fault I stick with favourites, but still... who's stopping it from setting up and ruining your face? DD for offensive and SD for wallbreaking... man. And what the heck is up with the Drill Run distribution? I can't stop harping about it: so much potential lost... really.

That's nice. My brother's still a big loaf that I have nothing in common with, so I really have little to talk to with some people.

v--- the heck? o__O

First unzip the RAR file: it's like a ZIP file. Get WinRAR or AlZip (Korean program but works for many types of files) or some other utility that unzips it and unzip your patch. Idk what format it is (IPS/APS/XPS/Whatever) but you can Google that or Youtube it.

I believe people here use a program called xDelta. Not sure though.

What the heck is your problem? That's not what I even meant. I say SIDA a lot... you of all people should know. I said "I will wait" -__-

If I have little to say I kind of like to say that (or to express disapproval, but that's not what I meant here)... like how people say lol with a face like <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow.png" alt=":|" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />... they're not even laughing lol.

Actually Haxorus falls behind Rayquaza, who is #3 on the list (150 vs 147). #2 is actually Zweilous: yeah... you wouldn't have known huh. Why? Hustle ability boosts its Outrage to incredible levels. Before Kyurem-B came out, this guy was #1. Of course, speed/defence problems along with the added accuracy problems meant Zweilous wouldn't see much use in OU (if any at all) just for that one trait of super-hax-powered Outrage that has a chance to miss and 100% walled by Skarmory... not happening.

Another reason to dislike Haxorus in OU: it's faster than Rayquaza, has Mold Breaker, and has nearly the same powered Outrage... what walls?

That picture now.. SIDA.
