<p><p><p><p><p><p>I wanted to use Psyduck, but I felt it'd be redundant. Mhh, Azumarill is doing too much damage for its own good. So far it's Work Up / Return / Bubblebeam / Aqua Tail, and Aqua Tail OHKOs nearly everything it's scary. Return isn't at its full power yet, but I'll wait.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Yeah you probably wouldn't, but I might because mine isn't a positive nature or anything and isn't doing all that much damage. Thundershock is hardly worth anything, and Cotton Spore and T-Wave is redundant, but still, Static hax and Thundershock isn't all that bad right now. In fact, it will take a while to level it to Ampharos, but at least it will learn Signal Beam and Power Gem (though the latter is very late). Mareep EXP rate is much faster than Growlithe's... like mine stayed level 12 for ages while Mareep at the same level went to level 17 almost instantly. I'd like Growlithe to hurry and learn Flame Wheel any time soon... Stone Evos really hurt because I need to baby it until I Fire Stone it into Arcanine. But Arcanine is at least worth something because it just owns.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>I don't know: you make it seem like death shouldn't be used at all. I'm rather fond of some deaths. Nowadays, it really isn't because the writer plays God and does whatever he wants to do, but what can you do? You're not that writer anyhow. I was fine when Dickens killed off people like Nancy in Oliver Twist, for example, even though it was saddening, it would have an impact on a main character's life. Either way, these long term stories seem to involve death. Or even indirectly, Catcher in the Rye (though I don't like using that book) references a dead younger brother and how that affected Holden's life. In a war story like All Quiet on the Western Front, what did you expect when Paul kills Gerard Duval? That scene had a point, and besides, it's war. Yes it felt unnecessary, but it was there for an actual reason that couldn't have been done in another way. What kinds of death then exactly bothers you?</p></p></p></p></p></p>

Mareep learned Thundershock quite early so I was fine with that and it levels quickly. I'm training Growlithe because I'm like WHOO A FIRE POKEMON THAT I LIKE but this thing is hard to train. Azurill looks so sad... what the heck happened? A forewarning to something? Either way, it's Azumarill now and with STAB Frustration from early game, it wasn't all too bad.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
<p><p><p><p><p><p>I know what you're saying, but that Haxorus is like an end-game thing so the whole movelist and evolution thing is rather inconsequential. Perhaps Dragonite or Salamence or something... or some legendary. Heck, even Volcarona. Mhh whatever, it's not like I can do anything about it. I've just been annoyed at Haxorus for a while, although I don't dislike it, it's just the epitome of overpowered for no reason thing.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

I don't agree with my parents all the time, but I'm very conservative, maybe even mad enough to be called a reactionary. I'm an exception rather than a rule for this generation.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
<p><p><p><p><p><p>For a 5% encounter rate, I sure encountered it a lot. I couldn't even find Mareep, which was labeled as common: it took me 3 hours to find a Mareep because I wanted one. My Lucario is Naive, which isn't bad. Since Crunch is a hereditary move, I'll eventually need to get me Shadow Claw as an acceptable substitute for it.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
<p><p><p><p><p><p>Ugh, you know if Haxorus was a pseudolegendary, I wouldn't be all that picky... but it isn't. It's an overpowered "minor dragon" and they give it some special treatment, which makes me a bit annoyed.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Death is the easiest way to do it actually. It's also a relief for some, because to some it can be an end to all their misery... or is it? Either way, death will always play a role. Some stories don't involve deaths, but most of the time, you may find it hard to make one that isn't a children's story or whatnot. These deep stories do trifle around with lives in order to invoke some emotion from the reader, be it sympathy, anger, hatred, etc. However, it doesn't mean writers use death liberally. If they do, they're just messed up maniacs. It should always have a reason and be used sparingly.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

My addiction with 史劇 (historical dramas) amongst other things hinders me from doing all that and reaching the World Tournament or whatever. I found out I was underleveled of course. Also what is with the Riolu spam in the early parts? Why is such a rare Pokemon available in the wild? I got a level 11 Lucario out of this... which really freaks me out. (It's level 18 now I think).</p></p></p></p></p></p>

It's mankind's way of expressing pain and retribution, or whatever they are lacking they yearn for a saviour. For all the conflicts in this world, there needs to be giving and taking, and unfortunately that involves lives. <p><p><p><p><p><p>Each to his own: I find it rather annoying. I was pretty displeased when I realised there were wild Metagross / Tyranitar / Dragonite / etc in the original BW. The BW series is a completely different series than what was in the past, so it's not a surprise that conservative people like me find some new changes disturbing. I felt the same way with wild baby Pokemon in DPP.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

Especially since everyone and their mother literally looks up to 'Merica now and pretty much got rid of corporal punishment, which was crucial to how children were well-behaved in the past, but now... it's frowned upon just because they want to be America... now due to these liberal policies children just don't behave properly at all!</p></p></p></p></p></p>

However, I did start yesterday and didn't even reach the 2nd gym yet (though I'm at the city), with a Snivy, Lucario, Mareep, Marill, Lillipup and Pidove. Most of these things will be replaced though, and though the availability of more Pokemon is interesting, there's still a lot I disapprove. Still curious to why an otherwise extremely rare Riolu is available so early... it was the first Pokemon I met in that Ranch actually, while a common Mareep took me 3 hours to find (I encountered 4 Riolus before I met my Mareep...)</p></p></p></p></p></p>
