    There was always a theme for the new Pokemon... like 3rd gen being exotic and 4th gen being "ultimates", being as powered up as much as possible. I don't know if there will be a theme for the 5th generation, but it certainly isn't "exotic"... just weird It's definitely going to be a mix of old Pokemon and very few new Pokemon. I can just feel it. I don't know why. Probably more concentration on electric Pokemon due to the metropolis-esque environment. The last thought... if they were going to do that, they would have done it in Gen II for Machoke and Gen III for Gardevoir, but apparently it will stay that way. You will always see female Machamps (I have one) and male Gardevoirs... an alternate line would be nice, but ewww male Machokes. Go Gamefreak for their extraordinary genius

    25 + is an exaggeration RASN (I'm only making fun of the fact there were too many legends introduced in the last generation... like around too much). If there were to be 101-125 new Pokemon, then 25 of them being legends would be a little too much don't you think? It'd be between the 14<x<20 range, but if they actually did go 25 + I wouldn't be surprised at all >.> However, I've been contemplating... even though I shouldn't do this, but 2nd generation only introduced around 251-151=100 new Pokemon, while 3rd gen introduced 386-251=135 new Pokemon, and 4th gen introduced 493-386=107 new Pokemon. Now 107-100=7, so perhaps there would be 135 + 7 = 142 new Pokemon introduced. *gets shot* lol kidding. I wish the range between 120-150 new Pokemon was placed in that poll because I'm starting to lean towards that. You know what, forget it. I'm voting 25-50 new Pokemon... the rest are old Pokemon recycled into a new skin of some kind. But in Gen IV there were very few native Pokemon introduced because they recycled many old Pokemon into the regions too. The other half of the Sinnoh dex was filled with evolutions for the old Pokemon... and I mean TONS of them. We get Electivire, Magmortar, Yanmega, Magnezone, Froslass, Mamoswine, Weavile, Tangrowth, Probopass, etc... do you think that trend will continue in the next generation? I'd actually laugh if they evolved Farfetch'd or Delibird, but you get the idea. Wait no, they'll make babies of Farfetch'd and Delibird and evolve Gyarados (stares at Chimecho and Rhydon and Dusclops parallel). >.>

    I highly doubt that. They're not copies of Pokemon or anything of that sort. Probably inspired by Pokemon, sure... or perhaps even inspired by the inspiration that made way to Pokemon. Either way, none of them are copies of each other and vice versa. I'd have to say by this trend perhaps 101-125 new Pokemon will come out. Or maybe even more... if they're going the direction of "out with the old in with the new". Many legends were added from the last generation... there's probably going to be an overdose amount of new legends coming in, perhaps 25 of them will be legends

    I found a way to bypass this... somewhat. You can click on your own profile and go to the "About Me" tab and manually edit each fields one by one. To edit from the "Edit Profile" section, you will have to wait until Alpha or some other administrator fixes this.

    Definitely using the GB Player to play old music. When I first got that item, I got very excited as it brought back memories of playing the original GSC. Although it isn't all the same, GB Player made it seem like those good times when Pokemon was actually good. That was a very smart move of Gamefreak... and I wish they had done that in FRLG. Route 11-15's music in RBY was just awesome... but the perma-bike music did not allow me to listen to all that epicness everytime

    "You did not enter the correct format for the Youtube Channel field. Please read the field description for the expected format." Who else is getting that after trying to modify the new profile fields? Even leaving it blank seems to provoke that message. Or is it only occurring to me?

    While I have been a member of many forums with those RPG-esque systems and economy systems and whatnot (I even implemented that myself in my small community a long time ago), I don't know if this is the type of forums where it will be appropriate in, as its main purpose was for Pokemon Data Research (yes, Research, you know, that boring word, R-E-S-E-A-R-C-H?). It can be fun but I'm not completely sure if it is okay here. We did install some hacks when this forum was Vbulletin 3.8X, but once it got upgraded to 4.0 many of the hacks became useless because of the different structure. We'll see how it all turns out, but I'm not sure if there are any good hacks developed for 4.0 yet, as it is a relatively new software.

    Or a Fire + Grass type... we have Grass + Water... now all we need are Fire + Grass and Water + Fire... the former seems more doable than the latter, but a water beast that can breathe fire? Sounds plausible. Reshiram being Fire + Dragon is weird. Why couldn't it just be Ice + Dragon? Sure... bad defensive type, but still... Ice would be nice Fire + Dragon is a very easy typing to do... but Reshiram of all things? o_o Fire needs more variety since it isn't even paired with awesome types. Electrics are only paired with Water/Flying/Steel/Ghost... and I forgot what else... so anything else would really be nice.
