And Impish isn't all that bad either, I mean, it isn't reducing its attack or speed or anything. Yeah, and yours is Adamant... and that makes me wonder too. Need I remind you this is like my 3rd or 4th time using Staraptor, and it always ends up the same exact way. I don't know what it is. And I certainly don't want to resort to Brave Bird to OHKO things (last time it left ALAKAZAM, an ALAKAZAM, with 1 HP with BRAVE BIRD)...</p></p></p></p></p></p>

I don't know if it's just me and my troll IVs, but this is like, 3 playthroughs and I don't think that's how it should be. I'm always commenting about how Staraptor is broken, and how awesome it is. It learns the right moves, has the right stats, and has the right abilities. It ends up in everyone's teams and is very good at what it does. Even little kids use it! But every time in the end, more often than not it is a liability, and ends up fainting the most out of all the Pokemon I have. I know, I shouldn't leave it against a Magnezone to Close Combat it, or something, but really? It never OHKOs what it should OHKO... even though there is a lack of STAB. I just taught Staraptor Return and finally got rid of Quick Attack... I can't even OHKO Level 42 Golbats. Not Pidgeot, STARAPTOR. Again, I don't know what the problem is... but in the end it is always something I end up not using. I hope I'm not doing something wrong.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>EDIT: Okay... after passing Victory Road, I have 3 Pokemon at level 51, Gardevoir barely made it to 50 at the end, and Roserade is 48 and Staraptor is 49. Looks like no matter what approach I try, even doing all the sidequests, I end up the same. This calls for slight extra grinding. But this time, I've got tons of Pokemon with the advantage against whatever Victory Road offers, so it should not be a problem.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

At Volkner, I just Leech Seed + Giga Drain + Sludge Bombed the Jolteon... who kept spamming Iron Tail (what's with these Iron Tailing things?) It eventually took a Poison Point and ate itself up with Leech Seed + Giga Drain + Poison. I ran out of Sludge Bomb however later. Then came Luxray, I switch in Vaporeon. Yeah, call me crazy... but that 74 HP was done by a single Thunder Fang. Luxray was faster and my Surf did 49%... next hit, Thunder Fang misses and Surf KOs <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/biggrin.png" alt=":D" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/biggrin@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Raichu spammed Signal Beam vs Roselia and I win with Leech Seed + Giga Drain + Sludge Bomb. It ran out here. Then came Electivire. I switch in Vaporeon. Then like a troll I switch to Gardevoir and gain the + 1 motor drive boost <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue.png" alt=":P" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /></p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>I resetted multiple times to make this battle more exciting than an Empoleon sweep. Beware of the Abomasnow, it has Focus Blast! Vaporeon is OP... Surf OHKOs or comes close to OHKOing most stuff. Froslass is a nuisance with Double Team and Snow Cloak. On one rendition of the battle, Double Team almost swept me alive! It can't hurt Empoleon much, but still, the hail added up to all the damage. It just seems too easy to OHKO some of them. However, Abomasnow survived one time from Empoleon's Flash Cannon, and used Avalanche (??) when it could have Focus Blasted. Weird.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

If you play with Wifi Clause, yeah. You can turn off the option to show team in Pokemon Online. 100% accurate Disables... ought to try that out now. I refused to use it in the previous gen because every time I tried it, the 20% chance of not hitting superseded the amount of times it SHOULD hit (80%).

Mhhh... the Champion was a bit easy from this time... except when that Volcarona spammed Quiver Dance while Lapras's Surf did zilch (until I critical hitted)... but yeah, 3 of them are weak to Fire. Accelgor is too frail, Escavalier's basically GG'd from a single Fire move, and Vanilluxe can go down to Fire/Fighting/Rock/Steel moves. Bouffalant can give you trouble but something like a Gigalith can take it down. Fighting moves are effective as well. Druddigon hurts but it is weak to Ice or Dragon moves. It is slow too. Lastly, Volcarona can give you trouble if you are not prepared for it, but rock moves are 4x effective on it, and it is weaker on the physical side (a LOT weaker) than the special side. Try to use a Flying/Rock/Water move that's physical and it should be down in no less than 2 hits. Yeah and? I didn't need Tornadus to beat the E4 (and it faints, not killed). You can find a way. Heck, I'll show you what I had and you tell me how much weaker you are... Note that this is after I beat the E4, so I started out lower than this. Reshiram replaced a Level 44 Gothitelle.
