i saw that you had posted previously that you had Wine running and that caused the pkhex.app to not work for you. Could that be the same in this case?

I cannot watch your screencast - "We're sorry! We were unable to locate the requested page." is what the link says. Go here download and install. grab the latest pkhex.exe from here Extract the .zip right click the pkhex.exe. select open with <<<< choose Wine Tick Convert to simple OS X Application bundle with WineBottler. Which will open this window. You need to click [select file...] and target the pkhex.exe you downloaded. Copy everything else that i have ticked and then click [Install] Next a dialogue will pop up. Give the app a name and click ok. Lastly, just wait for a few while it wraps.

Did you run the pkhex.app or the pkhex.exe after you installed X11? You should use the pkhex.app after X11. Dont bother using winestaging/wine devel to run the .exe

do you have X11 installed? You should keep Wine incase you decide to use Winebottler if all else fails. Its very easy to use.

Do you have X11 installed along with wine and winebottler? Wondering which way did you delete wine? Try using winebottler to make the app.

After it bounces and stops usually takes it a few to open. Do you get any feed back or errors. I built it containing wine bundle so user shouldn't have to have wine to run it. If you have wine or anything else wine related running, close it. Or delete the app and download the zip again Alternatively, try using Winebottler to build pkhex.

Does it stop bouncing at any point? if not, it may take some time as it did for @Are You 18 Now He said it took a while to launch. To answer your question from the previous thread, don't use the mono version of pkhex.zip to build in Winebottler

PKHeX for Mac Made with Wineskin Welcome to PKHeX for Mac Discussion thread! Please post here if you need help or are experiencing issues related to this Wineskin wrapper, and use the PKHeX Support forum for issues related to the program. This is a Mac App that was made using Wineskin; it is not a port of PKHeX onto the Mac operating system. With Wineskin, we can recreate an environment where executable files will launch on Mac. As far as what is known, all features in the original program work in this wrapper. There are a few differences though. PKHeX for Mac is styled with MacOS. Also, the app's icon is different from the original PKHeX program to better fit in with the theme of the app. Download Credit to Kaphotics Source: https://projectpokemon.org/home/files/file/1-pkhex/ Issues with Wine and PKHeX? This app not working for you? Check out the PKHeX on Mac guide:

Is Wine (Mac OS X) even able to detect the .dll file?
jasenyoface replied to Garlic's topic in PKHeX
i would love for you to test it out for me! I've never made an app with Wine that i distributed to others, so I'm not sure how it will go. or if it will work. However I'm waiting for @Kaphotics permission to redistribute PKHeX made with Wine. -

this is the way i do it. (screenshot) besides, I have made a pkhex app that is bundled with wine app in order to share it. i have compressed it to .zip if you want to try it. I have never done such a thing before. but it seems to work when i download my own .zip decompress and run it. -

as long as you're using the latest download from and have Xcode up to date on your Mac and winebottler with NET 4.6 ticked it should work. Using Winebottler, as you probably know, is pretty efficient with PKHeX. the only difference, for the latest version of PHKHeX that I've noticed, is that ticking the .NET 4.6 in winetricks is required. -
