  1. By checking the hall of fame in-game, I already know that the Nickname, species, OT name, and moves are saved. The game also displays whether the Pokemon is shiny or not due to the fact that the shiny Gyarados that I had during my first few elite 4 runs was still red. Luckily, I still have that Gyarados.
  2. A while ago, I lost half of all of my Pokemon from every Pokemon game that I had played until Pokemon X. After that sad event, I tried to retrieve my lost Pokemon via countless methods, that usually failed. However, after retrieving some of my lost Pokemon from Pokemon White, I realized that the 4th gen games held impartial copies of every Pokemon that successfully beats the elite 4. So, I extracted my Heart Gold save file from my cartridge from my cartridge and searched numerous times. Nonetheless, I had came to the realization that I had no idea where the hallof fame data was stored... So, where's the Hall of Fame data for Pokemon Heart Gold located? It was the first Pokemon game that I played, So I beat the elite 4 seven times (Just for kicks), so it should be easy to identify...
  3. Maybe parts of this (Cough hall of fame editor/extractor Cough) could be implemented into Pkhex?
  4. That's actually the program that I was referencing (the link). I just couldn't remember what it's name was.
  5. Thanks for the reply! I was just asking about it because previously, there was a program that allowed you to view pokemon from Battle videos in BW/B2W2, but users complained about the feature to extract pokemon from the videos and it got removed. I've also seen a program that allows you to view and extract pokemon from B2W2's hall of fame, but that was a while ago.
  6. I was wondering why there's no option to view your hall of fame for the following games: HeartGold SoulSilver Black White Black 2 White 2 (Possibly also Diamond, Pearl, & Platinum) I'm also wondering why we currently can't view the data from battle videos that were stored save files as well. (For the same titles listed above)
  7. Unfortunately, I haven't found any guides that allow you to decrypt the save without using powersaves again to make a save1keystream.bin (I'm pretty sure if I use a different cartridge to make the keystream, it won't work due to the fact that powersaves creates new bin names for different cartridges, even if they're the same game). I could try to restore the gold/copper part of my cartridge so that I could use the original cartridge again, but I don't know what material is used for 3ds game carts. (Basically, all of the guides I found requre you to use powersaves with the cart you started with, which isn't possible for me to do, unless I restore the part of my Pokemon X cartridge that gets read by the 3ds/powersaves)
  8. In 2014, I was an avid Powersaves user, I had used it every time an Pokemon event was released and even sometimes used it to make certain pokemon shiny. However, on November the 28th, my save file started to corrupt nearly every time I removed the cartridge from my 3ds. Unfortunately, during that time, I was really dense when It came to how 3ds cartridges worked, and I inserted and removed the cartridge so many times that it stopped working. After it stopped working, I put the cartridge in a safe place (and extracted the Powersave Backup bins) until I reached a level of intelligence where I could fix the cartridge myself. Since I'm making his thread, I haven't reached the level of intelligence that my younger self had thought I could reach... (TL;DR)I'm currently trying to decrypt a Pokemon X powersaves bin (and the original cartridge no longer works), would I need to use the original cartridge to create a save1keystream.bin? I have the bins that Powersaves had automatically created as well.
