Try using this emulator called "DeSmuME" (search on google, or something). After I used the patch, I couldn't even get past the shrink ray scene, on No$GBA. Then, when I heard about DeSmuME, it started to work fine, except for the occasional freeze. The usual signs of freezing were no icons on the bottom screen, messed up overworld sprites, and black grounds/walls. Hope this helps you!

Thank you. This should be very useful, since the new Pokesav came out, and only DeSmuME is working with my Soul Silver Rom.

Just making an introduction here. I'm part of the crowd that's hyped for HG/SS, and I played it early. (ROM, >.>) My favorite pokemon is Absol (shocker), and I haven't found a legit shiny on my NDS games (Mankey on Fire Red, it's SOOO useful.). I have Platinum and Diamond, and am planning to get Heart Gold when the english version comes out. Now I need a working DS. Anyways, I'll see you around this board!

Well, if these are actual AR codes, they won't work on DeSmuMU, the emulator I'm using for my SS. But I believe Homebrew/non-commercial AR codes work on it.
