  1. Here's my new challenge:

    try to get the unused bug-catching contest Venomoth in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal

     

    what we know: there is an unused Venomoth table in bug-catching contest

    what we ignore: is it possible to force-load the content? or is it just a leftover?

     

    Helpers are welcome.

    I also beggin my studies about FunFiesta mission but it'll take time.

    No problem, I thought too that unfortunately we have to reconstruct them.

    I saw this video

    Apparently you can get starters and play the entire game. So maybe a comparison between a starter obtained in the demo and obtained in the game will help us to reconstruct the .pk4 ?

    I'd like to get RNG shiny versions of the Colosseum E-reader Pokemon. I have the E-reader cards, English, Japanese and Spanish copies of the game so I can get them in any language. If I can find somebody to work with, I can do the leg work if they can do the RNG/capture part and we'll both have our own set. I consider all non Japanese Pokemon to be Un-released in a way. 

    Here is a video of a guy who created a bot in order to get them. I cannot help you much about it.

    So my next hunt will be FunFiesta in gen5, Demo Pokemon in gen4 and surely the Bug-Catching Contest Venomoth later

    If emulator, maybe start by doing state saves?

    I try on both emulator and game cardrige.

     

    Here the file I got by doing state save. If it can help.

    Edit: Cannot import the .dst on a Diamond/Pearl rom.

    I'm gonna get the Japanese Pokemon Blue now ^^

     

    Edit: It works, just give me some time to find a way to upload them.

  8. No PKHEX can't read the .sav of Japanese file at all.

    It's the side effect of the manipulation, it changes the item in your bag.

    I'm really tired but I have an idea for tommorow re-activate the event of giving the pokedex. If anyone knows the code for I take.

    We need to find the other bank switch too (for Japanese Blue).

     

    Edit:

    Then don't forget to have an executing arbitrary code machine (I thought we use the Potion for that but does it work with Japanese versions?).

    I already tried that offset for Red but I only got into a glitched nicknaming screen when using the Potion.

    Did you try 06 01 26 64 2E 5C CD 0E 36 C9 ? And 06 01 26 64 2E 01CD 0E 36 C9? for Japanese Red
