You're not actually bad as a player, but get in the habit of switching out when needed. Unless you're very afraid of Dark types running Pursuit (which is common in a metagame littered with Psychics and Ghosts), it may be wise to go that route when needed. Unless you want to sacrifice a Pokemon to get somebody to come in, generally it's best to switch out to a counter when needed.

Some tips:

- Set up users hate phazers (users that use Roar/Whirlwind, blocked by Taunt) or Dragon Tail/Circle Throw (which is blocked out by Substitute)

- Entry hazards are your best friends (you know this)

- You may want to run a defensive Pokemon or something to counteract threats, unless you're going for all offensive

- Stop switching Togekiss to Electric types!
