  1. Truly bizarre. Too bad my matches are not nearly as funny as that. X(
  2. It was an extremely long match. I had actually presumed a switch or something... I don't know why really. I just failed hardcore with that guy. X( But it was fun. Your sig... did that actually happen?!
  3. I suppose the difference is that I like things that are naturally fierce... Lol, taking that literally. Anyway, thanks for commenting.
  4. Hmmm, we share similar tastes of fierce looking pokemon. Although I do not prefer to use the word "demonic", "evil" or "fierce" certainly seems to fit my criteria. Thanks for posting, and your faves are pretty cool! Some of them are interesting too... like magneton...
  5. I accidentally forgot to post. Things I like: - Golurk's additions are sweet. Lots more coverage, and he can have some utility with SR. Sadly no boosting moves, but overall nice additions with Drain Punch, Elemental Punches, and the like. - Cofagrigus' moves are nice as well. Pain split and Magic coat are nice additions. - Throh's got some nice moves too. More coverage with elemental punches. - Storm throw pinsir. - Eelektross is even more versatile, and now he can do justice with giga drain instead of hidden power! (Which is weaker anyways and sacrifices some IVS, although at the cost of PP). Drain Punch, Knock Off, The elemental punches, all are quite nice. Obviously most of these moves cater physically, which I don't mind considering it's special is better anyways. - Durant has super power. Everyone run. - Articuno has hurricane. - Haxorus does not get elemental punches, which means no fire punch. Dislikes: - Elemental punches on conkeldurr. - Sky Upper cut on Gliscor... wut. - No flare blitz flareon. D: That's about it.
  6. Yeah, probably one of my longer battles... I usually have very short matches, so when I have one that's even for most of the match, it's exciting for me... Sorry for that though. I'm sure a lot of people would be turned off by something as this... Thank you for commenting though.
  7. Here's the most recent battle I have had, and it's probably, with only a small doubt, the most epic battle I have ever had. It was incredibly tight. It is a rather long battle, so if you have time on your hands to kill, I wouldn't mind if you read it. Enjoy. Writing this was an arduous task... Imma take a break now. X_X For those of you who would rather watch the replay, click here: http://pokemon.aesoft.org/replay-Sofa-King-vs-Lorshinator--2012-05-26 My team: / / / / / The Opponent's team (Sofa King): / / / / / Turns: 74 Genre of match: Stall war-ish
  8. After seeing the trailer, I believe that some of the stuff discussed earlier are both false and true. I think some parts of the game will be frozen, perhaps only because of Kyurem's vicinity in that area (after seeing the part where the male trainer was watching the shadow triad or whoever running through the ice-covered city). It may not be like it was in the map, but it may be something else... Of course, there could be many reasons for why that happened, but I don't know obviously. I wonder, will the new villains be old plasma thugs and the Shadow Triad? Are they the ones involved with Kyurem or the legendaries?
  9. Although this is probably out of context, I really do not like how this generation is full of monsters that are incredibly powerful and some that are just unbelievably weak... Perhaps you should balance it, but I wish this generation had more "balance". X( Fire/Steel would be good, but it would need something to make it stand out from the crowd. It would be cool, however, if it was a more defensive-ish cannon thing, instead of the typical swift fire type. Making something great out of heatmor is definitely a real challenge. ._. How about he we give it... SHEER FORCE AS IT'S ABILIT- no. Hmmmm...
  10. I personally think it would be somewhat cool if we had a fire type that was slow but bulky and powerful, and had utility or status moves to make it more powerful. Meaning, give Heatmor more bulk or a type that gives it plenty of resistances, such as fire/steel (which would destroy Durant), and give it some ground moves. It probably wouldn't be the most useful thing ever, but it would still have a refined purpose. If Heatmor's movepool is not improved, give it an evolution. Also, give Corsola an evolution. Here's a signature move: Fire Tongue Physical (it's a tongue): 100 Acc: 85-90 Effect: 30-50% chance of burning That would make everyone go in a rage. Uh... Like Cofagrigus? Uh, I don't know. ._.
  11. Here are a few quick suggestions: X-Scissor - It has bug bite. *shrugs*. Agility and Flame Charge. Nasty Plot Swords Dance ** Houndoom and other fire pokemon have these moves, particularly the former, and considering his lower offensive stats, I don't think it would be a problem to have these. Bulldoze, maybe even earthquake or earth power. (It's an anteater and they live in those kind of areas right? I don't know a whole lot about them.) Rock Slide, but not stone edge. I think it should be the pokemon with decent enough stats but with an amazing movepool to back it up. If it had Earth Power, Grass Knot/Energy Ball, and Flamethrower, coupled with Agility/Nasty Plot, it could become a fairly decent pokemon. I am familiar with that pokemon, but it is one that counters Skarmory almost indefinitely.
  12. Apparently Heatmor takes two X-Scissors from Durant... at half damage... Without boosts... apparently... Although Heatmor could just use flamethrower afterwards and just completely destroy him. X_X Yyyyyyyyyyyeahh... They made Heatmor underpowered. Give it... Something... An evolve form IMO would work. Fire Dark or Fire/Rock or Fire/Ground (anteater ness). Fire ground would be poor defensively I know, and it wouldn't add too much offensively (fire and ground are good on similar things) but it would be nifty. Of course, Fire/Dark seems to make sense. Oh yes, Skarmory would wall Durant. Or most steels for that matter. Now how about fire/steel?!
  13. Give Heatmor an evolution. It's pathetic at the moment. Durant destroys it, and although it's got good offensive statistics it's too slow. Or, give it agility. On a side note, Durant's always walled by one type: steels. Once he's not walled by that, he's kind of... A bit too strong?
  14. It has dragon dance? That's nifty. The lack of Leaf blade hurts though. ... I was kidding.
  15. When I first saw Volcarona's sprite I was thinking of a cyclops. The resolution was so bad, how could I help it? Knowing that's it not, however, I am happy. What is Tropius based on? A mythological creature, or a dinosaur? I'm guessing the latter. However, I can't comment much on that, because I don't know how it would be improved. Give Durant earthquake.
  16. > I am not referring to the sprites. I like it's design, but that's me. And this is completely irrelevant to the thread... So... I'll edit this and post a pokemon that is under powered or whatever... Seems I also responded to the wrong comment. My bad.
  17. It was kind of a joke. I know what hurts Rampardos, but it's a little too late to save it now I suppose. Volcarona is beautiful. Silence. > Isn't it hinted that it's a water dweller? Kind of ironic? He kind of is... You have to surf/fish for them anyways...
  18. Hmm, I'd like to think it lives in water. After all, that's how they're supposed to be, but then again, Gamefreak likes to write things in there that contradict the species' whereabouts, stats, and sometimes even existence. Tynamo should be in water, but I think that because they wanted it to be very rare, they put it in one cave... Without water... It makes no sense to me. Let's hope they make it less nonsensical.
  19. Rampardos. Give it 175 attack. Now we have reason to use it. Yeah, it's pretty crazy all right. Is Volcarona over powered do you think?
  20. There should also be a criteria for this page saying how certain pokemon should be less powerful.
  21. yes, more bulk would make sense. It has quite a few resistances though?
  22. nnnnnnnnnnnnope. Needs earthquake. On a serious note though, here's Golurk. Give it the elemental punches. It has Iron Fist, so... Or at least other punching moves. "Oh but it has focus punch", well, shadow punch itself is not too strong, focus punch is walled by other ghosts and bugs (ultimately wall: steel/ghost) and it's got a terrible ability with klutz, which could be replaced by something other than that.
  23. INDEED. RAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHWRHG. Would you put Eelektross in that project you're making? If you are a master of spriteness, you should probably take a reference from this: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/030/4/b/eelektross_by_xous54-d38f6cj.png Give it everything.
  24. Haxorus just does not count. >.< I am well aware it has crunch. In fact, I said it did. Oh, I see... Eelektross is not a counter part to anything though. I just wish it had a better movepool, because it deserves it, and GameFreak is just trolling. >.< They're too obvious. 83%? on the plus side, that is the same level as stone edge. An immediate paralyzation if it hits is always welcome! Speaking of which, he should learn edgequake... Hey why not? he's far from broken. He's in NU and is a challenge to use physically.
  25. That is true, however, I was referring to today's metagame. you see, Haxorus... No wait not even that. Charizard? I can understand crunch (which it has) but dragon claw? Come on dude. X_X Electric is uber powerful? I don't see too many electric types in OU, and I can't name too many that are very powerful. Eh, I'm clearly missing something. I tried it, didn't work too well... Now ZAP CANNON. >:L
