    Poké Transfer

Can anyone try to transfer the following two pokémon using the official PokéTransfer and upload the result? http://pokecheck.kraftpaper.org/?p=detail&uid=122270 http://pokecheck.kraftpaper.org/?p=detail&uid=130408
  2. Yes, they're explained here too.
  3. Actually I had incorrectly parsed the possible encounter levels for karrablast somehow. I know about those wrong sprites and I'll fix them manually when I have the time. Edit: I fixed them, also added the move tutors two weeks after cH053n reported they were missing.
  4. If you used the save on an english ROM this is probably the reason. I changed your GTS language manually back to japanese.
  5. I'm dubious about your japanese version, are you using an english patch or something? It was recorded as being an english game by the GTS.
  6. Yours was caught in the wild, it cannot have egg moves.
  7. This pokémon is from Pokegen/Pokesav. Hidden Ability Basculin is not released and it has invalid trash bytes. You don't need to register to deposit a pokémon from the GTS but you need one to upload .pkm files or to download anything from Pokécheck to your game.
  8. Link to the pokémon in question? Other cloysters with rock blast appear valid in the pokécheck DB, what is the egg obtained location of yours?
  9. So this confirms female DW eevee is legal, hence all bred DW eevee and their evolutions are legal too?
  10. As for corean names I'm lacking all the gen5 ones... not sure where to look for them. Edit: found and added them
  11. Thanks for reporting it, I'll see what I can do to support this case.
  12. What Vixana said, all gen 5 DW are flagged as hacked except the two in-game events. Pokegen does not generate trash bytes by design as stated by Codr, if you want to lean about them you should read this thread.
  13. Your eevee falls under a special case. Its nickname was censored by the GTS word checker (sometimes it's hard to understand why as the banlist is shared among all regions); in this case it gets the default name for generation 5 although it is a generation 4 pokémon, and OT name Kuro*/Shiro*. For your other pokémon they are in fact not cured but infected, correct? Regarding Khift's remark, until the encounter locations and levels are extracted from the games Pokécheck will no longer report wild underleveled caught pokémon as hacked.
  14. If your pokémon has an invalid terminator it is a clear evidence that it was edited in Pokegen and is reported as such in Pokécheck. Pokegen does not generate correct trash bytes by default, possibly by design. this thread will tell you what is considered a valid terminator sequence, but in any case trash bytes have absolutely no effect in game so you shouldn't worry about it.
  15. Pokérus strains are still being investigated, so I'd like to know more. Can you give links to the incriminated pokémons or your pokécheck username? How did you aquire pokérus in the first place? Do you remember positions in your party at the time of infection?
  16. It probably means that its ability was edited but not its PID. Pokémon with non-matching PID/ability are illegal.
  17. This should all be fixed, thanks for reporting.
  18. I'll think about how to take into account these cases. Thanks for reporting them.
  19. Set encounter type to egg/pal park/event for all Vaporeon has dream world ability but is from gen4, also it's lacking the DW flag (0x42 set to 1) and egg location is wrong Ferrothorn has egg moves, but is from the wild
  20. Not all IV spreads are possible for a given trainer/secret ID couple. If no PID is found for the spead you want to need to either change the spread or one of the trainer and secret ID.
  21. It is impossible to determine the version played only from the PID, it is generated in exactly the same way across a generation. The only way to determine the version is from the GTS metadata when a pokemon is deposited or when a search is made. You also can record language, geonet location, trainer class and some more stuff which isn't yet figured out.
  22. Some fact about the word filter of the GTS. When you try to deposit a pokémon from the GTS, it must go through a word checker built into the game. If the game thinks you are using an insulting nickname or trainer name, it will remove the nickname and change the trainer name to Shiro* or Kuro* depending on whether you are playing white or black. This change is made before However, it doesn't seem to be always possible, and in some cases the GTS will reject the pokémon without even trying to send it on the server. The error code for filtered pokémon is 13267, which is different from the error code you get when the GTS server rejects the pokémon (13266). I have discovered this because a Pokécheck user complained about not being able to deposit any feebas. It turns out the german name for feebas is Barschwa, and possibly because it contains "arsch" it gets rejected. Hence it is totally impossible to deposit any unnicknamed german feebas, even on the official GTS.
  23. The encounter type is left unchanged by the PokéTransfer process. The only trash bytes that are altered during the transfer are the last 2, which are set to \FFFF (e.g. BELDUM\FFFF\0211ぁ\0000\4008 is changed to BELDUM\FFFF\0211ぁ\0000\FFFF)
