  1. Please upload the wondercard for the VGC Larvitar
  2. There has been an update in the way generation 5 events are checked. Instead of the previous heuristic approach which had no exhaustive knowledge of existing events, Pokécheck will now match the information of the Pokémon with the PP wondercard archive (with Guested permission). As a result, generation 5 event exclusive moves should be properly recognized whereas events for which no wondercard is available will show as hacked. It is tempting to use the same method for generation 4 events, similar to how legal.exe worked, but too many generation 4 wondercards are currently missing and it is too tedious to fish out the event information manually.
  3. There is a slight error on the wiki page for searching. When returning results the server reply must start with \x01\x00.
  4. Character map checking has been redone from scratch to support all languages but there might be errors (especially in Korean). It's more than likely hacked.
  5. Sorry about that, Pokécheck was never good for gen 3 & 4 because it doesn't check encounters (the main reason being that there's a huge, gigantic list of exceptions to normal encounters and I never got the courage to list all of them). I added a check for gen 3 legendary fateful flag though. All my info on Deoxys' moveset seems to be wrong but I think you can indeed tutor it DynamicPunch in Emerald.
  6. Even though only the id/sid must match in gen 4, 1 in 2^32 will never happen by chance or by soft reset any time soon. You might consider yourself "pretty good at this", but please understand my lack of sympathy for requests such as yours. You used Sabresite's and my own research on trash bytes to make a hacking tool (trash byte fixer's only purpose is to create legal hacks for cheating in trades and tournaments, which I consider breaks the PP forum rules. But I'm not a moderator so I kept my mouth shut). Then you have the nerve to ask me to make more hacks legal for the 2^-32 chance of equal ids when the post before I refused to make TID 0 legal to Agonist even though it's a 2^-15 chance of happening and it should be legal if not for bad hacks.
  7. Even if it is possible to legally have the same OT name, ID, SID, language and region as someone else or as an event, this is over 200 bits that must be equal hence this cannot possibly happen unless you are trying to do it deliberately. Any nickname change that happens on a different game than the original is hence a deliberate break of the game intended mechanic on nicknames. Even if it's allowed by the game (because there's no better way to be sure a Pokémon is yours originally) any breach of this rule should be considered as deliberate hacking. Furthermore, if you consider this practise legal then every default trash byte string is valid on pal park and events. What you are asking is making a huge number of hacks legal just because you want to renickname events or traded stuff, which in itself should be considered hacking. Furthermore I don't know where you get your info on trash bytes but they're wrong. Sid 0 is legal, Eigakan Arceus has all \FFFF trash bytes, a kyurem with Ash\FFFF\4300\4100\0000\FFFF as trash bytes will get a clear warning the trash bytes are incorrect.
  8. Yeah, I can't belive Bulbapedia/Serebii/Veekun/... were all wrong on that one. I fixed it however.
  9. Nintendo does not consider renicknaming events a legal practise and in the same spirit only nicknames that were given by the original trainer of a Pokémon will be considered legal in Pokécheck. In application of this rule I will not make the changes you are requesting.
  10. You're right, it's a problem with the veekun moveset database, which supposedly should not contain errors because it was extracted from the rom. However this it not the first time the HGSS tutors are incorrect.
  11. This point was brought several times before and unless Codr sets the default trainer ID to 65535 in Pokegen I will not change my stance on this question. ID 0 must be exclusively reserved for hacks.
  12. The real mystery is why was this thing downloaded 6 times
  13. Tanabata Jirachi must have a valid restricted GBA event PID. I'm sorry but yours was edited somehow. That's because Tranquill doesn't appear in August on route 6 unless you use the season rollover glitch. The pre-evolution of Haxorus is Fraxure, not Fraxorus.
  14. Nicknamed events can be controversial legality wise but I have replaced the error with a warning.
  15. See http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?17978-PokeGC-A-Gamecube-Pokemon-Checking-Tool&p=136177&viewfull=1#post136177 Celebi cannot be legitimately shiny except in generation 2.
  16. Despite checking manually I don't see any Pokémon in the Monster or Water 1 egg group that can learn Aqua Ring and Water Spout simultanously. Wailmer is in Ground (Field) and Water 2 and can breed neither with Squirtle nor Seel.
  17. The answer is in the trash bytes wiki page. Trash bytes vary by language and version. However, not all the bytes are different across them, hence the more trash bytes are in the Pokémon name (i.e. the shorter the Pokémon name), the more information we can get about which language and version was used to Pal Park.
  18. This should work properly now. Link to your squirtle on Pokécheck please.
  19. Vote for something with a really useful DW ability and that we know will never otherwise exist in a new DW area. Good candidates: Lugia (multiscale), Ho-Oh (regenerator), Zapdos (lightningrod) Since it's almost certain a legendary will win at least make it worth it (unlike Arceus and Rayquaza).
  20. The Dream World Mamoswine is going to be distributed on the european Dream World starting from October 20. It will be the same Mamoswine as the japanese event, level 34 male with Hail, Ice Fang, Take Down and Double Hit. The code for this event is found in the Official Nintendo Magazine (and its local counterparts). French code will be MAMNintendoOfficiel (source: http://baveshack.fr/images/numrisszs.jpg)
  21. Yes, in fact it even seems to work with FRLG. As far as I can tell I get exactly the same ARM dump. As for the Ageto Pikachu, I wasn't able to test how it is written to the GBA but unlike what I had thought the two specimen I know of (PID 1568718567, spread 28/24/7/24/14/31 and PID 3836930036, spread 22/25/22/18/18/14) do not use any simple variation of known GBA/GC PID methods. I tried looking for more legitimate samples but they are hard to find and hard to make without a GC and writeable memory card. I tried patching the disc to use the Pikachu function at 8012d5dc instead of the Celebi function at 8012d4f0 when writing to the Colosseum save and the result is a perfectly fine Ageto Pikachu, except with a standard GC PID. Since there's is no example of a legal Ageto Celebi with a non-standard GC PID (among more than 150, some of which must have been written to the GBA) I am really wondering how the bonus disc writes to GBA saves. I have serious doubts Ageto Pokemon are actually made on the GBA, but if that's not the case then why does Celebi seem to get a GC PID but Pikachu doesn't?
