  1. dude honestly you are aware that no double sashing is standard correct? item clause isn't but no double sashing is considered cheating
  2. this team isn't put together very well even for a mono type team. Smeagle is easly taunt raped. you make no sence in having a scarfed pokemon on a trick room team i dont care if it is for smeargle when smeargle goes down which will be in 2 to 3 turns if you are playing a good player you will still have tr up which will be you will be beating your own team dude you have no steel checker if your opponent kills your slaking it lacks a good check to ghost has no siczor coverage. your snoralax set is not good in the least yo need more than 1 attacking move. and one more time because this is seriously bugging me. Pick trick room or scarf not both they dont work well with one another you are breaking a rule 2 focus sashes are not allowed so you need to find another item for ambipom silk scarf would be best since all you yous is actually normal moves on it. and blissey cant stall on a monotype team since they all share one weakness or are neutral to it is impossoble to wall pokes only types that can wall are water and flying . dude you need to revamp this team in a major way or change your typing this team is recieving a 2 out of 10 bro sorry for being harsh but that's team has no synergy at all which is very important in mono type teams and whoever said mono type tournys are gimicky just really needs to stop honestly nothing shows more skill than being able to counter a team that constantly throws more more of your pokemon's counters at you I did a mono type tourny and won because i used steel but I was able to bluff psychic. thanks to metagross and bronzong
  3. bob has great points but is wrong in saying metagross can pull off a sweep better than rhyperior that isnt true at all solid rock weakens super effecive moves not to mention he has usefull stab moves where metagross stabbed move are resised or neutral damage to most pokes used in OU but do agree with most changes up above
  4. I reccomend finding some replacemoent for like 2 pokes on your team as tsukasa said your entire team has an EQ weakness except siczor and celebi. i suggest you drop celibi for something like uxie@light clay relaxed 252 def/252spdef/6 hp reflect light screen thunder wave u-turn it resist ground all together it has thunder wave so it still slows the game down and give you complete control and lets you steer the match in any direction you want to while it still has a bug weakness it is not a 4x bug resistance and wont almost faint at every u-turn. plus it bulks up your team and helps you set up so much easier and if you are going to drop siczor pick up a gyarados or a salamence gyarados provides more bulk while still being able to set up and sweep or mence is a better mixed sweeper plus can be on the bulkier side after an intimidate. here is a custom mence set i made myself salamence@leftovers or lum berry rash~intimidate ev's:180atk/110spatk/220speed fire blast sub dragon dance dragon claw sub is here for blocking off para and burn hax then you can just set up safely from behind a sub. and after 2 or three dragon dances you can tear down pokemon who resist your dragon claws and i run dragon claw as you getting locked into outrage means you are less likely to hold a sub and beside that i think outrage is a horrible move its one of the few moves I'd never put on a poke. this set checks everything with just 2 moves and a little setting up and it works wonderful with dual screening uxie because uxie helps it by bulking up it's subs and allowing it to set up a bit more
  5. did you know that heatran can take a non-lifeorb latias surf it is non stabbed and heatran has naturally good spdef.lol and if you looked at the rest of the team you would of noticed that politoed is on here and has water absorb for situations like that. Prediction does matter i made the latias comment because you can cathch a latias on a switch in that is why predictions and stat calcs matter and no heatran is not at 50% with stealth rocks it loses less than a quarter health it loses 1/16 heath as it isn't weak to rocks but it doesn't resist them either only pokemon that lose half heath to stealth rocks are pokemon who are 4x weak to them and on machamp you are wrong but right. now while on a standard machamp people dont run speed but i do for that reason so i'm not getting dynamicpunches thrown my way before i land mine. and with 100 speed evs i outspeed metagross leads which means when i predict explosion comming i can set up my sub and block it or i can go out to spiritomb. and i'm fully aware most leads out speed him but the leads that do typically stealh rock fake out, taunt or u-turn first all of which equals a free dynamicpunch or a sub.
  6. my wall of choice is registeel having access to Amesia, iron defense, and curse after about 2 of any of these he can tank and he is not easily stopped since he is steel he resist toxic and he can rest of any other status like burn. not to mention access to toxic and thunder wave and coupling thunder wave and iron head gives him paraflich or you can set up to make toxic stalling alot easier on you not to mention he can set up faster than most attackers can and alot easier than they can and then cripple them when he is done also Arceus blessed him with the move siesmic toss so if you opt not to run curse for more damage you can do a steady 100 the whole battle to your opponent. and namexx sorry man but a good wall really shouldnt have a 4x weakness to the most common type of move in the game(ice) in SS you gotta give it to shuckle, cradiliy, or skarmory Secondary favorites weezing-will-o-wisp and pain split equals a long game for your opponent nothing takes this guy down easily Spiritomb: completely resisting not one not 2 but 3 moves all together not to mention being a great special defense wall on it's own but having access to will-o-wisp makes it a great mixed wall. plus he can have pain split to gain hp while lowering opponents and then when they are on the brink of death he can sucker punch them or if they try to run pursuit them. and if you have good prediction skills you can run trick and cripple other walls by starting off with a choice item then stealing another walls leftovers
  7. Ok apparently my last team lacked something something most people were looking for and that is some standard stuff and this is just my pratical team with a more obvious consecpt than the last hit hard and take hard hits while doing it. I have played around with this team tweaking things here and there and i'm pretty dang proud of what i came up with now without further adue lets get this started the lead Machamp(kid muscle)@leftovers adamant~no guard evs: 110 hp/252attack/48def/100speed thunderpunch sub Dynamicpunch ice punch this set is my favorite lead that i have ever used in my life(next to zippers the banette) but this guy is a buff mean sub punching machine he does more than enough as a lead and just in general as a sweeper.sub block. dynamicpunch in junction with no gaurd is just deadly100accuracy firing off a move that powerful not to mention recieveing STAB is just perfect sometimes i even dynamicpunch things that resist it because it makes switching a bit safe knowing that there is a 50/50 chance they will hit themselves it also helps. Sub dynamicpunch really helps save this guy because it gives them a chance to kill off annoying explosion leads or from behind a sub he can suvive one which is always important to me when picking out my leads. honchkrow(Bone killer) adamant~insomnia 6 hp/252atk/252spd sucker punch psycho shift drill peck superpower this is a honckrow set I made that has always worked for me and i hope it will do the same for you. Now when you look at the layout of the Evs nothing special right. But when you get down to the move set is where you notice a slight difference. PSYCHO SHIFT many people dont even know he can get this move it is an egg move and a great one i may add see as honchkrow is typicall the target of many status attacks toxic, thunder wave and burn. well toxic, thunder wave, and burn them back. not to mention she takes everything that machamp can not. Continue to wreak havoc on your opponents team. I take pride in saying i'm really the only person i've ever know or seen run this move.....besides people who have traded me for a copy of her If anyone ever wants to try one of my custom sets just pm me and i'll get you one of whatever you want to try ASAP Heatran(MAXman)@choice specs flash fire~modest evs:6spdef/252spatk/252speed eruption/fire blast earth power dragon pulse hp grass 70 standard set except i run specs because i'm good enough to the point where Outspeeding is not a concern as i can accuratly predict and react accordingly but for a newer player scarf is reccomended because if you are not experencied in the art of prediction pulling off a max hp eruption can be difficult without it and that is what this set is all about is putting your opponent in a position where you can end the game with your overpowered fire stab move and don't worry heatran can still grab it's flash fire since rotom runs around and will most likely make an attempt at burning your physical sweepers with flash fire max hp eruption you can ohko a latias. hp grass dismantles the likes of vaporeon and anyground type who thinks they can take it. earthpower destroys heatran. honstly this set rips through everything except a craydilly in in sandstorm and a blissey and these two can't really take a choice specs max hp eruption or at least not two many politoed@leftovers calm~water absorb 252hp/6def/252spdef hp eletric 70 surf ice beam toxic Special walling set this little guy takes hits like a champ but his main job is having heatrans back by absorbing water attacks and healing him self some people say vappy is better but he is so damn cool and cute plus most people dont know just how bulky he can be. tauros@choice band jolly~intimidate earthquake stone edge return pursuit I love this pokemon destroys pokes who stay in on him or can kill anything trying to run from it. this guy is a great physical attacker/revenge killer spiritomb@leftovers careful~pressure evs: 200hp/110def/200spdef will-o-wisp sucker punch pain split pursit this spiritomb burns and walls anything having no weakness(beside being hit by a fighting move by a scrappy poke) makes him a great addition to any team and he becomes the ultimate mixed wall after it get the will-o-wisp off plus it increases the teams defencive bulk give me suggestions and rmt. thanks for your time
  8. ok the basis of the team looks nice. it looks like a balance team but some of the sets just look not reliable. for one charge beam should never ever ever be used on jolteon without a sub(not even cress uses charge beam without a sub so what does that tell you) or something to keep it safe while it's gaining those attack boost. charge beam is better off being signal beam as darks like his cousin will eat all those attack. and it's always nice to get super effective damage on the destructive T-tar not to mention the chance for confusion can save your life in OU thanks to all the Setting up in OU gyarados should honestly have stone edge over ice fang as your whole team including your gyarados are 1 to 2 dd's away from a jolly life orb gyarados sweep. I really like your blisseys evs I think it would function well as a counter blissey one more thing be careful you have a blaring infernape weakness so watch your step and tred carefully into OU as by the looks of your team this is new water for you
  9. first uxie is not a standard set evs and everything beside dual screening are mine no uxie runs t-wave and DS. second I don't want to run anti-lead gallade that is a horrible idea considering most leads are faster than gallade now a days beside of course swampert, bronzong, and the ocassional metagross so destiney bond serves no true purpose and to answer your question gallade as a lead has swept 4 entire teams on it's own so it is very durable. and honestly dude on the blastoise comment you have zero idea of how good blastoise is as a spinner and considering blastoise ohko's your entire list of pokes you listed to replace him I'm sticking with blastoise. it is bulky strong and reliable and siczor is able to ohko gyarados with it's "horrible spatk" and no life orb after SR. lol this is supposed to be a place of creativity and yet you are suggesting standard smogon sets and you say my team doesn't have a real strategy maybe you should look a second time. i don't like to use the most broken pokes in the game like you are recommending and no to be rude but honestly half or your suggestions are not the best i don't want to add another fire weakness in the form of lucario and as if you take a look most of my pokemon perfectly support the others weakenes. Last mence has it's place it is my wall breaking sweeper what do you think dual screening is for. stronger subs longer lasting mence. and omastar is a great def wall you have no idea or what you are taking about dude you really don't know anything about UU and NU's.last my strategy it's a bulky dual screening heavy offence team and dude let me. And don't be rude and say this team has no strategy just because you don't understand the aim you should of waited for me to elaborate a bit more if you couldn't see the point. I'm sure i have more battling experience than you and i know better than to have a pointless team with no synergy t-bird: You are sadly mistake saying it doesn't hurt t-tar unless i lose hp as technitan boost reversal up untill it is over 60 so i am still doing high damage to t-tar regardless of if i'm severly injured or not. gengar loses half it's health to an hp eletric and your rotom comment makes no sence as siczor never stays in on them anyway so that was a really horrible reason. Sorry t-bird but your reasons are not holding water. i'm not a new player at all i've been at this for awhile so you all will need to provide me with solid reasons that these changes need to be made as this team has gone 10-1 and the one lost was because i got critted 6 times in 1 match o and just so you know unless gyarados can't ohko him even after a dragon dance and life orbed waterfall and this is an adamant gyarados max attack +1 waterall not even after steath rock here is the proof Damage Per Hit: 144 - 169 / 51.2% - 60.1% (Number of Hits: 1) Critical Hit Chance: 6.3% Chance to Hit: 99.6% Base Attack Power: 80 oh and I'm swaping out omastar for my hp ice raikou or my DD lonely kingdra
  10. ok now i've been doing alot of rng breeding and and battling and testing things. and i've honestly been getting pissed yeah you heard right pissed. As i can setup my siczor with like 2 sword dances with easy but then I get put in check by gyarados well no more this team is about putting that sea snake in a ditch where it belongs. ok now lets get started (understand that i place shiny on the side of my pokes not as a requirement to run this team but to show off my legit flawless shinies and just to state what i have so you can imagine how cool they look) The lead (shiny)Gallade@focus sash adamant~steadfast evs:6hp/252atk/252 spd sword dance ice punch close combat shadow sneak Ok gallade checks everything from azelf up to metagross ohkoing swamperts with a +2 close combat checking pokes that are faster than it in a heart beat aerodacty will be 2hit ko'd through ice punch shadow sneak. This also checks fake out leads. because if they decide to make gallade flinch gallade will come back at them with with +1 speed alowing it to weck even more pokes down the line like a simple lead crusher can be turned into a sweeper in the blink of an eye both (shiny)Siczor@salac berry or scyther@ life orb (I switch out so both sets used will be listed) naive~techinitan IVS: 31/31/31/28/31/31 (hp elec 59) evs: 120atk/138spatk/252 speed siczor set hp elec endure reversal bug bite or u-turn this set grants siczor the ability to do what it does best and thats sweep with salac boosting it's speed it help siczor do what it does best and that is sweep but without the use of SD or a choice item like most siczors use. with 120 evs in attack he still remains a force to be recokoned with hitting and attack stat of 326. But the star of this set is hp elec as it destroys the one true counter gyarados with 1 hit(with stealh rocks up) or 2 hits without it. Plus with endure reversal set it checks other counters also like heatran, magnezone, and empoleon. People also begin to bring in blissey on it after seeing hidden power elec so you can wreck that to scyther evs: 130atk/128spatk/252speed hidden power brick break bug bite Sword dance scyther is a faster less bulky version of siczor however that doesn't make it any less dangerous it still ohko's gyarados but with a 105 base speed stat it can use SD and life orb to wreck stuff it has excelent coverage. I was going to put quick attack on it and still might but for now this set has been working perfectly Blastoise@leftovers modest~torrent 252speed/252spatk/6hp rapid spin water spout ice beam hydro pump bulky attacker and it also doubles down as a rapid spinner for siczor and scyther but water spout is a deadly attack when attack is maxed and hydro pump wrecks when salamence@ leftovers naive~intimidate 200 speed/200 atk/110 spatk sub dragon dance fire blast dragon claw omastar~leftovers bold~shell armor 252def/252hp/6spdef spikes stealth rocks surf toxic uxie@light clay bold~levitate 110hp/200def/200spdef light screen thunderbolt thunder wave reflect dugtrio@choice band jolly sucker punch EQ stone edge aerial ace
  11. changes will be made in bold The Lead Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash Jolly|Pressure 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe - Taunt - Stealth Rock - Stone Edge/fire fang/crunch - Earthquake I find a Fang move more suited for stone edge spot because zong is gonna resist this guy big time and any player that has some skill will gyro ball knowing The 'bulky' sweeper Latias@Light clay Bold / Levitate 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe - light screen - reflect - Dragon Pulse - thunderbolt latias is good but not as good as you make her sound bug moves can take her down one shot like yanmega bug buzz and since you dont have a + speed nature you are going to get outsped by jolly mence and since you dont have T-bolt gyarados can easilty set up on you while you are trying to do the same on it but the diffrence is gyarados has the speed advantage. Honestly since i see no true walls or tanks on this team aside from machap you should probably have this girl play the supporting role as a dual screen to at least bulk up things The 'what the #@$* was that' factor (Yellow doesn't show up T_T) Jolteon @ lefties or life orb Timid / Volt Absorb 4 DEF / 252 SPA / 252 SPE - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power (Ice) - sub - Baton Pass Nobody expects Jolteon to be good and before you know it you've lost two pokemon to it. It has great opportunities to come in - thunderbolt is one of the only things that hits the rest of my team for decent damage and thunderwave is becoming increasingly popular. Specs boosted thunderbolt kills things. It just ends them. Baton Pass is rarely used but can be good for scouting and the remaining two moves make for good coverage (although most things will die to thunderbolt). It makes a massive target for earthquakes but that gives me a great opportunity to bring in Latias. good synergy with latias bad that you have baton pass and a choice item if you are going to run baton pass you should at least have sub+baton pass that way you arent just switching out I mean if you want to switch out then just switch no need to waste a move slot for switching out. and bolt beam covers pretty much everything so shadow ball isnt needed The Scizor Scizor @ life orb or leftovers Adamant / Technician 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe - Bullet Punch - sword dance - U-Turn - superpower Pretty standard fair for a Scizor. Bullet punch is as good as ever and it makes a great late game sweeper. Most games will finish with a combination of stacking stealth rock damage and bullet punches to the opponent's final pokemon. This is so much of a late game sweeper for this team that it sometimes doesn't even come into play until the last few turns. If its forced out in the mid game to deal with a threat (*cough* t-tar *cough*) then it has amazing synergy with... just so you know t-tars have barbri berrys now so they typically weaken your bullet punch and then just fire blast you or fire punch you to hell. so yeah dont just bring sizor in on t-tar because if you do a boa is going to rape this thing and i reccomend superpower over brick break it is just way stronger and if you like to use it late game anyway it should kill you to drop an attack and def stage unless someing went wrong during the process of weaking your opponents pokemon and with the dual screening latias you can run SD no problem The 'Puppy' Heatran @ Choice Scarf Naive / Flash Fire 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe - Fire Blast - Earth Power - Dragon Pulse - Explosion Another backup sweeper along the lines of Jolteon, it switches in on attacks that get targeted at a lot of the team and its STAB move will do a lot of damage to everything. Again the other moves are for coverage and explosion is (quite obviously) a last resort but one that has proved to be fairly effective. this set is fine but where is your poke that you are going to use to draw in fire attacks for the flash fire The 'Hit things' Machamp @ Leftovers Adamant / No Guard 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe - Dynamic Punch - sub - ice punch - thunder punch The original idea behind this was that it was bulky, could take hits and deal them out, was a sure switch in to everything because of having lots of HP, that sort of thing. But that hasn't been working, its too slow to get anything done in today's metagame and its not even feeling as bulky as it should. The confusion is still useful but the opportunities to get a dynamic punch off are few and far between. And its normally at the expense of a lot of damage to it. In short I want to replace it but without losing a physical attacker on the team and I still want another good counter to Blissey. I've considered Lucario but that makes me steel heavy and I'd rather not have Magnezone wipe out my team. Any suggestions here would be welcomed. this is where sub baton pass jolteon comes into play you can use jolteon to block some blissey status or somthing the pass it out to machamp and bam free sub max hp (barring most likely entry hazards) and you can start punching away I changed pay back to Sub is for blocking status and scouting switches. and ice punch is for dragons like latias and salamence. thunderpunch is for the ever present gyarados you can also use machamp for drawing in will-o-wisp and then getting heatran's flash fire activated
  12. why would you cheat of all people your friends and the fact that they dont know about ivs and everything makes it worst. dude thats low.
  13. Ok first aerodactyl should never have taunt due to the fact it makes you go last unless your opponent uses a move that makes them go last also like avalanche so 9/10 times you won't be able to pull that off I reccomend taunt so here is what I think would be better (changes in bold) Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash Nature: Jolly Ability: Pressure EVs: 252 Attack/252 Speed/4HP Role: Suicide Lead - Crunch - Earthquake/taunt- Stealth Rock - Stone Edge ========================================================================== focus band is an illegal item in standard play and you will normall be DQ for having that item. I understand needing a pert check but i dont think zam should be your go to guys for that as he is capable of so much more like a tricker so say it's Zam and blissey and zam has choice scarf trick it to blissey and it will be stuck doing whatever move it just used and typically will be forced to switch. I've had 2 blisseys struggle to death through trick. it's the absolute worst thing you can do to any wall. and the best ting is once you trick it you can isolate it untill it's the last pokemon in the match send in a scout or death fodder to see what it''s locked into and then send in a counter so here is the set i'm reccomending for you Pokemon Alakazam @ choice scarf Nature: Modest Ability: Inner Focus EVs: 252 Sp.A/252 Speed/4 HP Role: Special Sweeper - Shadow Ball - Psyhic -grass knot or trick - Focus Blast ===================================================== now i know t-bird has you sold on the whole cross chop thing and i am 100% with him on cross chop however he neglected to tell you cross chop has a lower accuraccy rating so be careful it can let you down. but it is great for when you need a blissey down and you want it down asap so I'm going to second his suggestion Pokemon Electivire @ Expert Belt Nature: Adamant Ability: Motor Drive EVs: 252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP Role: Physical Sweeper - Ice Punch - Thunder Punch - Fire Punch/ Cross Chop - Earthquake side note: Hp grass mixed e-vire is good as it is a better wall breaker plus e-vire learns flamethrower so foretress is killed and so is skarmory with flamethrower or thunderbolt to pm me if you are intrested in such a thing ========================================================== now magnezone is a great steel trapper without hp fire and to be honest doesnt need it as much as people think it does. a magnezone is capable of 2 hit koing a siczor with a thunderbolt. so hp fire is not needed but hp ground is a more so important one. as heatran, metagross, and other magnezone are the main steel pokes who can stand up to it use hp ground to ohko heatran, and magnezone. and I suggest a nature change to naive and item change to life orb naive because it makes him go fast and it doesnt weaken his Explosion Magnezone @ life orb or lefties Nature: naive Ability: Magnet Pull EVs: 200 Sp.A/252 Speed/58 HP Role: Special Sweeper - sub - Explosion - Thunderbolt - Hidden Power (ground or fire) ======================================================================== this is good but i reccomend relaxed nature and gyro ball over EQ because this set is walled to hell by any ghost and i mean absolutely any ghost. just be care Forretress @ Leftovers Nature: relaxed Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP/ 178 Def./ 80 Attack Role: - gyro ball - Explosion - Rapid Spin - Spikes ============================================================== i dont know if you want dusknior as a spin blocker or not but i noticed you have no status absorber and that can be a huge problem I reccomend latias. it can use recover not to mention psycho shift so you can absorb burns then pass thier burn to there own physical sweepers. or you can dual screen and bulk up your entire team. and latias is fast base 110 speed so getting them up is no problem Latias@leftovers ability: levitate natue:timid evs: 252speed/158 spdef/100 spatk role speedy special tank other roles: dual screener or special attacker psycho shift/reflect/recover surf/light screen dragon pulse tbolt if you want duskinoir still id change fire punch to earthquake because heatran will come in expecting you to will-o-wisp so lets just send em packin and careful nature is to boost the spdef Dusknoir @ Leftovers Nature: careful Ability: Pressure EVs: 252 HP/ 204 Sp.Def/54 Def. Role: Special Wall - Shadow Sneak - earthquake ]- Pain Split - Will-o-Wisp but good job for a first team. I remeber my first team. I hope these suggestions help wraith I'm from smogon forums. and obtaining legit flawless ledgendaries or flawless hidden powers isnt hard if you can rng abuse which is not a hacking device it doesnt even touch your game it just shows you your iv speads and what time and day they occur and you can breed flawless pokes even legit flawless shinies, legit flawess wild capture, and pokes including ubers and honestly that's rude telling someone dont suggest something anything helps i have plenty of legit flawless breeds and captures so don't say it's not easy.when as long as you take the time to learn rng abuse it is If you want to learn how google pokemon rng here is a list of mine and my trade thread partners many flawless legit breeds captures and pokes we have traded for
