I literally found the answer to this in 30 seconds on google. He's in the safari zone. As stated earlier in the thread everything that should be in the safari zone is. The locations guide is strictly for the ones placed on routes, caves, etc.

Honestly (and you probably won't like this answer) it's probably a flashcart issue. After a certain f/w update on my Acekard I would get freezes randomly. Ever since I got my DSTWO none of my DS games have froze (though a GBA game did last night, but that was the fault of the emu) If you want to be certain, start from scratch. Delete your ROM entirely, re-rip, and re-patch. Your save should be fine provided you don't delete that too. You certain it was route 34? I just checked the guides and my files. My files do not have a Starly at that location... And after googling I see that Starly is a headbutt pokemon (headbutting trees) so that would explain why it isn't in the guides. You seeing Starly on Route 34 may be another side effect of a damaged or improperly patched ROM. Again I'd suggest re-creating it.

Given that the project is barely 2 months old, I'd say it's a bit hasty to presume death.

No need to patch your save, just make sure it has the same name as the ROM

You realize that's a safari zone pokemon right? None of the guides will have the safari zone captures, as it was never easy data to find (dunno if this ever changed) and no changes were ever made to the safari zone. Not to mention that a whole separate sheet could be created for the safari zone since so many can be caught there. (it would throw the whole layout off) Guess this should have been mentioned sooner.

While I have done no editing of b&w2, my experiences with Platinum and HG/SS say it can't be done. I could be wrong, but it's pretty improbable I would thinks.

That looks correct for the win/loss portion (though the notation never made any sense for me but I see you are using a newer PPRE than I am...) As for holding when you exit the room, you are gonna have to use flags. Your situation wouldn't involve the display flags. Instead you will have to assign a flag and have it set or cleared depending on the scenario. The trick with that is making sure either A.) the flag isn't tied to anything else, or B.) using a flag that would go unnoticed if it was reactivated.

You need to decide a way to make the battle inaccessible afterwards. Alpha suggested using the display flag. When set this flag will remove the sprite. You can set this flag after the battle and it would remove the trainer. EDIT: I'm attempting to find an example script for you but my notes on my old projects were horrible EDIT 2: You'll probably want to check if the battle was won or lost ( I do not recall the exact command but you can reference other event battles and copy the script from them) and then upon the condition of winning you can removepeople If this isn't enough of a help I can try to dig up some example scripts but truth be told I am rusty.

As per the Acekard site, you do require a phat or a lite to update the Acekard2i. What they mean when they say this is that you must update the actual card firmware, not just AKAIO. I don't know the full details of how the hardware works but it appears to be similar to updating a motherboard bios. And AKAIO seems to be more of an OS rather than a firmware. Ha! Glad you figured that out! Cuz quite frankly I would not have, as I don't use cheats and shinigami715 mentioned nothing of using such. Thank you for the assistance in that.

Are you 100% certain nothing is happening? It is possible for the patcher to be creating the rom without you noticing. But if you are certain that the rom is not being patched try using a different directory. For example try: C:\Rom Sometimes the patcher can be funny about patching if there is a space in the directory location (such as the space in "My Documents")

Quick update: I just noticed a message from like a month ago (whoops) with the Perfect Soul guide and an updated Heart guide. Everything has been updated on the front page, thanks Math for the guides.

The answer to your first question is a no. Due to the nature of the creation process it would be entirely too time consuming at this point in my life for me to be able to port it. Sorry... As for your 2nd question, are you refering to the time travel event? (my memories fuzzy but that is the only celebi event I can think of...) If so, then yes it will work, as I altered the event to accept pretty much any Celebi. Basically I made the event check to see if a Celebi was following you rather than looking for the event Celebi. Sorry I can't help on this one. I avoid Macs at all costs... This sounds extremely familiar and I can't think of what resolved it... You could try searching through this thread, seeing as how you are the first person to mention this in a long time it seems it isn't an issue with the hack. One thing worth trying though would be re-patching a clean rom. Every once in a rare while it just kinda happens that the rom may become corrupt or perhaps didn't patch appropriately in the first place and you don't always see the affects immediately. And to everyone, sorry I've been away a little while. Suddenly ended up relocating and it took sometime before I had internet again. I'm on this Monster Hunter 3U kick right now so I can't say I'll be checking here everyday, but I'll at least try to once a week or so.

Hmm, actually I wouldn't know. I don't really cheat myself, but I know AKAIO for Acekards as an option to download cheats and it gives you a menu where you can enable and disable cheats. So my apologies but I am unable to help. Perhaps someone else is able to.

They may also upload it to their's (if they have one) and I would use their link as long as it works and if their's goes down I would post my link. (I know people love their youtube hits. Haha! good lookin out Math! I was gonna look it up and got distracted.... Just for the record everyone for the most part most pokemon (especially starters) are in locations that would be logical to their element. Like fire pokemon in burned tower (or like that volcano place in platinum) and water pokemon I do try to put in water. Of course I only had so many slots to work with in so many areas but thats what Math's guides are for if you really need em.

You were not attacked. You were warned aggressively for not reading the rules. First you need a DS. Next you require a flashcart. Personally I recommend the ak2i (be sure to only buy from one of their trusted vendors as this card is commonly cloned and cloned cards have various issues) Then you need homebrew such as NDS backup tool. Follow the instructions with whatever homebrew backup tool you decide on (they have various features and work in various ways so I cannot give an exact tutorial) Presuming everything is done correctly you have yourself a clean and legal rom.
