  1. I've tested it, and the shiny code effects starters and Pokewalker Pokemon as well. The IV code also effects Pokewalker Pokemon. I just returned from a stroll in Yellow Forest, and all three Pikachu I caught had 31 Iv's and were shiny.
  2. Can someone make a code to edit a Pokemon's shininess? Like, say I mark a Pokemon in the PC to make it shiny, or move it while holding an activator, or view it's summary while holding an activator? Something like that so I can make Pokemon I've already caught shiny.
  3. How does the game choose which Pokemon will appear? It doesn't seem like anyone agrees. Your guide says it's random, but I read somewhere (I think it was bulbapedia) that it depends on what Pokemon you send over. I also read on serebii that it depends on "how much you've done on that course." I'm curious, because it would be nice to know how to influence which Pokemon are chosen. Also, it would be cool if there was a PSP homebrew app that could connect to Pokewalkers in some way since they have built-in iR ports (the older ones do). EDIT: It seems that caught Pokemon aren't fully generated until being transferred. Only the info on the moves/species/level are stored, and the IV's/nature/shininess is determined when transferred to DS. This is because I just recently treansferred some caught Pikachu from Yellow Forest over to my DS, and they were all shiny and had 31 IV's. I had the shiny code and IV code on my AR when I transferred them, so this means they weren't generated until I transferred them, and the codes could influence them.
  4. Has anyone tested the shiny egg code? Also, can anyone attempt a code for marking Pokemon to be shiny, or help me make one?
  5. I too am experiencing a game freeze when pressing confirm. I'm on the English version of SoulSilver and it seems to freeze no matter what PC, Pokemon, Box, or Slot.
  6. Yes, but I'm not using a flashcart or ROM, so I can't load my sav. So the only way to do it would be by creating a new Pokemon from scratch and exporting the ARDS code, but then it wouldn't be an exact clone, and it would be a hassle to make multiple Pokemon shiny at will. Also, a little off topic, but I'm a bit interested in learning to make AR codes and have been looking at patterns in similar codes. I was wondering what the D2000000 00000000 line at the end of a lot of codes is for. Sorry it's kind of off topic, but I was just curious.
  7. I would be extremely greatful if someone could make a code that makes Pokemon shiny when marked in the PC. It seems like it should be possible, since there are codes to modify PokeRus, Happiness, condition, IV's, and Ev's by marking it. It doesn't even have to be marking if you can't, just some way to make caught Pokemon become shiny. Like perhaps the clone code, except that the cloned Pokemon will be made shiny instead? Also, not as big of a deal for me, but it would be nice to have a clone code that doesn't require junk Pokemon. Maybe one like the old Platinum clone code? Or even like the Emerald GS code that copied a Pokemon from Box 1 Slot 1 to Box 1 Slot 2, even if it was empty. Thanks so much if anyone can make a shiny PC marking code!
