I also have a problem with my usercheat.dat file, but I'm on WoodR4. Can you upload your file to megaupload or somewhere so I can try it? -
Oh, I thought it was an actual patch. S what this means is, I can't use any of the GL Services if I'm using the English language? Or what?

Well I'd think it might, but you shouldn't expect it to be done because you know there would be errors, and also, you don't really know how much that 5% would be compared to the patching of the rest of the game. Like I said, hopefully it will be, but we can't really tell until the developers confirm it or actually release it.

@Dr.Phibes1482 You probably patched your Rom with the save file inside the save folder. Next time, follow these instructions: -Move the Rom of your game to your Desktop. -Move the Patch to your Desktop. -Open xDelta GUI -Select the Rom, select the Patch. -Click apply, wait a few moments until the size says 256MB. -Move the NEWLY CREATED Rom to your desired folder. -Move the UN PATCHED Rom to the original folder. -Find your .SAV from your UN PATCHED Rom, -Copy, (CTRL+C), and Paste, (CTRL+V), to the folder of your NEWLY PATCHED Rom, -Re name it to your NEWLY PATCHED Rom, -It SHOULD work! -Last step, tell me how it works. Thanks, and good luck!

@randomspot555 Ok, thanks. I couldn't play it yesterday, as I didn't have my charger, and I have no backup of my Save on my PC. I was asking because in the v4 patch as I remember, it was only translated up to the 3rd or 4th town. So I think it's quite lolzy that they're got this far. Thanks again!

Ok, you have 2 options: 1. Obtain the newest R4 firmware, 2.When you start your R4, go to the rom, click Y, then go R twice and turn the first 2 options Off. Bye!

Ok, just catching up, how far into the game does the v5 patch cover? As in like... Regular dialogue between the characters in the game?

Well that's the problem. You have to move the ROM to the desktop, patch it, wait, then move it back to the original folder. Get it?

I know what you're asking, primarily because I had that same question at first also. What I do is the following: -Start at the folder with the rom and the save. -Move the rom to the Desktop. -Move the patch to the desptop. -Open xDelta GUI. -Apply the patch. Wait for the patch to complete. -Move the rom back to the original folder. -Load the rom into your emulator, (I use DeSmuME), and it SHOULD work. If you could, tell me the results.

I accidentally patched my ROM without removing the save from the folder first... Nao I have to start all over lol.

Well, considering you have all of the right contents, (clean ROM, patch, etc.), you click Apply, and I think what you're doing wrong is not waiting for the ROM to be patched. Do everything you're doig previously, and wait a few minutes, (time will vary depending on the speed of your computer), and wait until the file new file says 256 MB. Then, it should be patched. Tell me how this works.

Ok thanks for telling me how to get the newest patch... Silly me. I hope I won't have to ask for every update, and actually remember. So just 2 days ago, after I played at a party with a few friends, I finally got the Official 1st Generation Ash Cap from the 90's! I feel SO accomplished!

Well, are you using the xDelta GUI patcher with the latest v# and a Clean ROM? PS. I strongly suggest you back up your save before doing anything.

I found a bug, I don'y know if this has been discovered or not, but here goes: Route 2, Man in the Red after getting the Running Shoes: "...That's not the only thing either... f your Pokemon run out of PP I'd watch how you're Pokemon are doing!" 2 errors: Line 2 "f" should be "If" and Line 3 "you're" should be "your." Again, I'm not sure if you've found these, and I'm not trying to be offensive. Just trying to help.

I know I sound REALLY dumb asking this, but I can't seem to find the actual patch file. I go to the Black and White Translation Files page, and I find like 100 different .txt files. What do?

Sweet, I just downloaded it. It's perfectly as described in the OP. I'm a bit bummed because Nintendo wasn't supposed to give more than one Mew out. Ever. They distributed one about 5/6 years ago at Toys R Us across the US. I still have that Mew today!
