I think unplayable as in to difficult is not what they ment It's more that the power dynamic just feels strange because usually you start weak and then grow strong But myticals start really fishing broken but dont grow that much wich obviously has an impact on difficulty and enjoyment of the game I dont think they want just the exp cure to be changed but also the stats to be normalised So they can have an experience that is close to the normal game just with their favourite as a playable character from the start But that's a lot of work and removes the flavour that makes Mythicals and legendaries spacial compared to the other mons

  4. And your changes actually applied in game? I tried messeng around with abilities and types before but those just didn't apply in the end Also if you already resolved your "issue" tbh not really shure what to call this why still ask for the change here? And why do you want to add mew to starter lists if you can already play as anything using the code system or a randomised starter

Also just because this is a rom hack dosnt mean things that where chosen in vanilla don't apply here anymore the game still builds on almost everything that was there in the original And as long as both sides stay open minded debating about stuff people want changed can also help devs decide if they actually think its worth doing Because it can make it clearer how many people want what changed and why they feel that way

This mod is getting solo devolved by Alphadaemon Level curves and stats are hard coded so you could go over all of them manually Mew and shaymin also happen to be some of my favourites so I do understand why you'd want them as starters But saying that you can "pick" them (including all mysticals here) as stares is probably wrong since you have to access them via codes and they aren't in the "normal" starters list for obvious reasons Usually id say mod the game yourself (or i might even do it for you if id be boredat some point) but in this case it won't work since the game is protected for theft and potentially bug reasons iirc I also don't think we can expect Alphadaemon to do the changes since they probably have enough to do already That said id also welcome the change
  7. There are stat caps during the story Mine seem to be at 90 and am also in hidden land so might depend on difficulty or I am just dumb

Sky temple is a modding tool for pmd games Sending a screenshot of the iq groups won't really work since is a big a table and not that easy to read This rom in particular has some sort of modding protection so you could load other roms and changes made in sky temple would affect the game but here they don't (just incase you try it and get confused why it dosnt work) but you can still use it to look stuff up like level up learnsets and stuff
  9. Makes sense Didn't know that level impacts damage Stat caps are 90 before dialga right? I might also just be stupid Im just unsure if ill be able to get stats after the cap is of since bar dosnt exist so gummies dont give to many stats and asside from that and level ups im not shure how you would farm stats
  10. Is there a way to disable exp so you don't get level ups while you are at the stat caps or something?
  11. Oke so maybe have exp items all teh time isn't necessary because there is a stat cap at 90 for the story apparently and I just hit that But I would still recommend it for the start
  12. Also quests and getting rank exp where a lot harder I'd sometimes be forced to end a dungen early after like the second quest even tho there would have been a 3rd just because there was a non 0 chance that I'd just die
  13. I also saved all my gummies and nectar and when I found out I couldn't turn them in to drinks I was like dam I really made that harder for myself for no reason xd

Enemies do scale to your level But 1 they will get levels ither way when you progress with the story 2 I think most of the starters have increased level up stats like a lot more +2s than normal 3 you get level up moves (Especially in the special episode thingies there are some level up moves tou get after like 2 levels that make it a hole lot easier) 4 I just finished future and was like 5 -10 levels below grovile But I still see where you are coming from and if someone else says farming exp is bs and they have a good explanation ill probably stop aswell It's just what I have been doing till now and I think it worked out Banning manual mode just seems like addig more difficulty when its already not easy for you but I guess its more true to the original and you can do lots of stuff with tactics iqs and turning moves on amd off but manipulating ai a lot of the time takes a lot longer than switching to manual mode for the turn

Once you do a couple of trades in spinda cafe you can also get nectar forrest (name might be wrong but you'll probably understand what i mean) and that gives you a lot of easy access to nectar and stuff That you can then use with the pirce hurler iq skill (a lot of groups get it but i vergot wich ones) for even more value Im not shure if hardcore is already the hardest difficulty or the one before but if it is eat all your gummies on the spot you cant mix them to drinks anyway You can "farm" the century duty rewards by getting everything right as lat as possible so you can always get a perfect highscore for max rewards If you don't already have it you can download sky temple and open the rom there This one specifically is nodding prove so if you change something here it won't be reflected in game but you can look at iq groups and level up movesets and stuff

My team is h growlithe and finneon wich has some nice synergy with strom drain but i didn't really optimise my starters but they work pretty well Early game definitely increases difficulty by trowing a lot of bodies at you but I'd say for me there was a mix of getting used to it and it also decreasing at some point But I also definitely struggled a bit at first But if you pick increased difficulty struggling and then getting better is the point no? Some of the things I learned was using roar in combination with 2 tile moves to kill things you have no business killing this Early like in the dojo I basically always have a joy ribbon and a miracle chest equipped and especially Early game joy ribbon can probably double or triple the exp you get I think some status moves might be underrated especially early game And you can press start to manually input commands for everyone incase you didn't know

Thanks a lot Probably don't have to worry about the stat cap yet since palkia is still pretty far away I cleared future now and the difficulty seems to shift a little from just trowing a lot of guys at me to trowing guys with high stats at me By now I learned heat wave, flare blitz, and head snash by level up so i might end up using those 3 + thunder fang for type coverage and then bring along more max elixirs My parter (finneon) Usually is the one doing screen nooking with the movset of Water gun (for 2 tile range and pp) And a linked move that is probably overkill of raindance tailgow and surf Usually nothing really survives that because of swift swimm hitting twice but it might be overkill and when I enter a monster room its not in a spot where it can hit everything
  20. I have some questions about grinsengs, move sets and live seeds The short form is: what movesets can you recommend and when should I use my live seeds? Im still far away from getting access to multiple grinsengs but i got one from prize tickets and I have been wondering what's the best way to use them Im on extreme difficulty and just beat up grovile in crystal caves My guys h growlithe and finneon ~level 45 I made shure to play bad on the sentry duty so I could get perfect highscore every time so I have 10 levels in seeds where im not shure when to use them (i have pirce hurler on a 3rd guy so could hit both ny mons) I think if I use them now I could learn headsmash and flareblitz or i could save them for the final jump to level 100 when the time comes Rn my moveset is fire Fang, rockslide, ember And last move I usually change depending on dungen between t fang, flame trower, crunch, double kick and ror But im not shure what my endgame moveset is supposed to look like If grinsengs boost to power is the same no matter what but pp scales then ember to me seems to be better than flamethrower because more pp But if you get enough boosts so that pp dosnt matter anymore than flamethrower or heatwave (i think i can get that) would be better because of their range And if the power boost is always the same aren't multi hit moves even stronger if the boost applies to every hit (and iirc accuracy also gets boosted)

Tbh I think it would be really nice if you could change the order of your team during the dungen (like who is leader and in what formation the team travels) Also I noticed that while in manual mode you not longer have access to tactics Is manual mode a "hidden" tactic itself? Also imo would nice pressing the off button on a non leader would make it end as soon as its his turn again I know all of this isn't necessary and probably not worth the time it takes to code because manual mode itself kinda already dos all of that on its own (even if sometimes a little slower) but i just like talking about game mechanics
  22. Can you not use spinda drinks on hardcore difficulty? Or is there something else blocking it rn Spinda said it dosnt want to incurage drinking if that's only temporary then ill continue to save all my gummies if not ill just eat them all normally till I get something with pricing hurl or whatever the iq skill is called
