1. Dusknoir would be good as a gengar replacement seeing as gengar and Raikou share the same coverage. Though I recommend that you go for a will o wisp vairant to stop opposing physical killers from being such killers.

Weavile will also make for a good revenge killer if you put ice shard over ice punch... though there isn't too much that outspeeds him anyhow. Errr, ice shard depends on if you are too worried about DDancers and scarfers. But would definately make for a better replacement in terms of power + speed.

  2. Would anybody be as kind as to make me a sig :D.

I'm looking for a sig similar to the one that I have at the moment only with Lanturn. I tried doing it myself but it just wouldn't work. Basically I want the back ground to under the sea, coral, nice blues; the works - with a shiny lanturn. With maybe one of its fins coming out of the actual back ground (like the hoot hoot in my current sig).

Put my name where ever you can fit it, and on the side of Lanturn I'd like the name 'Annata' to be really finely put on there. Alsmost like it's scratched in O.o. If that's too much forget about that part.

I just want a sig that I can revolve between my two fave pokes :D.

  3. .lol you should tell me not to run toxicroak based upon a bias you have toward it it works well and sweeps entire teams for me.

Part bias part reason. The reasoning being that something like Nidoking can provide you the same toxic absorbing and can provide an instant threat with it's larger movepool. Sure given the chance to set up toxicroak is going to outclass nido and be an absolute beast, but in terms of coming in and eliminating something nido is better in my opinion, seeing as it is attacking from both sides of the spectrum with unpredictable moves. Also it'll take a hit better (nidoking taking 10% damage less from most attacks). But I've not tried out the team so I'm just thinking theoretically.

And there's no sun damage of course.

  4. Ok UU is my favourite so I'll try and do your team a bit of justice with this rate xD.

I made a promise to myself that when I got here i would share all of my favorite teams with everyone and the ones that work the best. If someone does use this team tell me how it works out for you because i want to post my good teams but it does no good if it's to difficult for others to use so without further Adue i bring to you. My true UU destruction team

Oh and not to be a jerk but if one person suggest DB on froslass i'm gonna lose it.lol I tried it it doesnt work because of well you'll see in a second

    Ok I won't .. but I'm already thinking it :P

Ok so what you have is nice looking anti lead that will take out an ambipom - possibly. Ambi will taunt a ghost before it uses fake out ... unless the user is real stupid. So you will get one hit in which won't kill it due it's own sash and inadaquate special attack. After that it will U-turn away (breaking your sash) and send in an adaquate counter. Though the counter will be something that resists ice - you seem to have it all covered. However, Froslass does have a lacklustre non boosted special attack - it's base 80 I believe. and as such you won't be hurting many things - such as registeel who can happily shrug off the first ice beam - with stand HP fire (20.9% damage at best) - lay rocks - and then get the kill with Iron head, and then depending on the variant either curse up in the face of the next pokemon, or rest off the damage. In which situation you've done nothing, you've not stopped the lead, set spikes, ticked anyone or put anyone to sleep. This is rather situational but it can happen (one of teams revolves around the U Turn Ambipom for Swellow leads.) So my suggestion would be give it a modest nature and enough speed to outspeed common walls and all ground types, then throw the excess into HP ... similarly you could run trickspecs ... that will screw an ambipom/uxie/_SR leads_/_Status inducing leads_, and do heavy damage to everything else. Though if you're worried about accidently putting specs on something that could benefit from it there is trickscarf that you could use which is the safer option (most of the time).

Ok Every team needs a physical wall especially in UU. This is more of a team playing wall - what with it's double screening. And it looks good enough. I just question whether weezing might do the job better or not as it can eliminate a physical threat almost straight away. Gone is the agility blaziken with haze, Choice scarf hotmon lee and medicham aren't going to like being burnt and moltres won't like the thunder bolt on the switch. Though if you don't like the idea of losing screens then I guess your wall may work better ... it just depends on whether you want an immediate counter or something to wall. Similarly weezing forms good synergy with lanturn. It can't take too many special grass hits that are aimed at lanturn though - so that may be where uxie gets the upper hand.

One of my favourite pokes too, in fact is my favourite special wall. I run a subparafusion set that reaalalalay winds up the opponent and gets the upper hand on almost every special sweeper. I would say the set you have at the moment probably provides you the best with what your team is trying to accomplish, so we'll leave it at that :D. Though I would recommend slapping on confuse ray in place of surf .. or maybe even substitute, just something that can help with longevity. You might wanna also mess with the EV's too ... give it some physical defence so that it can take a hit should it need to. Mine can take earthquakes and get the upper hand with confuse + sub + surf. (and if all else fails I switch in Weezing ;) )

I can't think of anything better in any case :D. Maybe give it focus punch ... the sub is going to be a tough cookie to break, and the opponent should be attacking first most of the time so you should find plenty of opportunities to get the focus punch in.

MAybe a mixed Nidoking or Altaria. Or maybe even some sort of spinner. Torkoal could fit the bill and be used as water absorb bait for poliwrath. Thiough torkoal is weak to rock so .. more trouble than it's worth most the time.

well there is my team so please leave comments what you think rate my team out of 10 10 being it is great 1 being what the hell is wrong with you have to be great to make this work because this team sucks.

by the way this team is 25-2

    Impressive score :P.

    My teams like 2 - 25 xD.

Anyway you got a lot of resistances, hard hitters and some good synergy here and there so I'd give it 7.5 out of 10. I think you might be weak to stall at times ... though who isn't :P. And also not conviced about Toxicroak on the last spot so you might wanna put a wall breaker in its place. But if it works for you then so be it :D.

  5. Welcome to the site :D

Don't worry about your english not being great, there are people from all over the world here, so it doesn't matter, so long as we can understand you :D. If you need help with anything feel free to ask.

  6. @ Memjee

Nice team, a stealth rock could help your late game sweeper Ambipom big time though.
Possibly, though it would really have to fill roserade's boots... and I really like the Sleep support + Tspikes.

    I'll think of some threats

Aerodactyl - He can be problem as a lead if your sleep powder misses, your rotom is the answer for him, but your other pokemon will have trouble with him.
Too true :/. But you can't get past every lead. And yes I do usually switch to rotom anyway :D.

Swampert - If your roserade is gone, you will have troubles with this bad boy, scarfhera can't beat it 1on1. Your best bet is your gyarados.
I've not see many played outside of leads and I usually keep roserade in play at the start, so she does come back to hurt him. Outside of that Rotom can burn him while I shuffle switch between Rotom and Lanturn confuses, burning/poisoning, stallin'!. (<<< Strategy for most pokes xD)

Gengar - He can be a big issue for you, with his unpredictability and many equally effective sets. Becareful for sludge bomb and C. scarf variants.
Gengar usually comes in on ambipoms fake out and usually gets owned by pay back. Similarly, he likes to cover blissey's fighting weakness, so scarf hera usually finishes him before he even gets the chance to move.

Empoleon - Fear the subpetaya variants, the ones with grass knot with be a big problem for you.
Not actually came across one of those yet .. other than yours and I believe you destroyed me anyway lol. I don't really know what I'd do should the situation arise though my best guess would be lanturn parafusion until I take grassknot then rotom for some paraflinchusion!

Latias - Calm mind with either lum berry or substitute is piss you off. I don't think gyarados with wacan berry, SR damage can survive a 1cm thunderbolt.
This is why I originally had ice fang on gyarados ... I may go back to the old set this bulky set isn't really doing me many favours and seems to take hits just about as well as the old one did ... in which case DD Ice fang would be my answer to this.

good luck on your team, I like the team, it's very creative yet good enough to play standard OU.

Btw I'm stealing your Ambipom set =)

Thanks that was the aim :D:D. And be my guest It's a nifty little thing :D.

    @Crimson Assassin

I've played around with rotom alot I'll try your idea only of you try mine:) trust me it works great and i'm sorry in OU no one has any reason to fear ambipom (barring tyranitar) its to many ghot that can 1 shot ambipom and even the steel types dont take alot of damage from low kick because while they are heavy their defence is to good and there are to many bulky ghost who will eat payback and burn you. i even know gengar is running will-o-wisp. it's not the team i don't like its sweeper that it is focusing on i mean i love ambipom but it sweeping will be far to difficult.
I know, I know ... and that's why the team is devised to see what the opponent is packing .. sleep causes switches, confusion causes switches, reflect + Burn Causes Switches, intimidate causes switches, scarf hera in itself causes a lot of ghost switch ins who are readily 2HKO or even 1HKOd - less trouble for Ambipom, with all the support tht is given Ambipom really can sweep. It takes a lot of good timings and grinding but it works. The only time he struggled is when someone had hidden a defensive scizor set, luckily rotom was still alive to get the win.

    i just read this

    .

why waste rotom doing this if it was burned go out to gyarados and DD up dont let rotom die i like rotom.
You know... I hadn't even thought of this, thanks for the idea. :)

and lanturn that sub is not good your burning off hp you can only recover 6% back at a time for a sub that might easily be broken. you should watch out for aggron and rampardos also they will smash through this team rampardos with eq and mold breaker hits even rotom and head smash pretty much rapes everything else
As for lanturn the sub is crucial to this set. Honestly. The strategy is almost to divide and conquer. Parafusion + a sub is so annoying it's unreal, I'm causing a lot of switches and I'm seeing what needs to be taken out and thinking of how I'm going to take it out. And when I'm threatened I'm switching to my next in line - Rotom. In regards to the sub loss of health business - I have Tbolt bait in gyarados - a special wall in lanturn who packs volt absorb - that's health replenished. Similarly when the opponant is only attacking 6/8 times (roughly) the 25% is more than accounted for.

Ummmm I have seen one ramporados and it couldn't get past confusion and fell to surf. Though maybe if I hadn't had the sub I might not have had the chance to do that ;). Aggron ... I've not seen one outside of UU play.

well thats all i have to say nice team but just the wrong sweeper gets you an 8/10

drop by and rate my team

8/10 ... It's better than I expected if I'm honest. So thanks :). I've tried rating your teams but a lot of the time I can't improve on it, but I'll take a look.

  7. @Crimson Assassin

I like how you like tobe creative but honestly choice scarfed leads are not good unless the sole purpose of it being scarfed is to

1.trick it off to another lead and give you time to do your own work

    2. it is made to demolish other leads in one hit

because the truth of the matter is if they want rocks a simple switch in on something that cant taunt them will do it and then your lead has completly failed it's job.
Yeah I have changed the taunt part :).

and rotom if it has reflect already it is a waste of a slot to have will-o-wisp if i were you I'd throw Thunder wave into that slot and get you some para flinch going on
If I am out against the right pokemon discharge's shakey paralysis rate isn't much of a bother anyway .. especially when I am hidden behind both a burn and reflect. If I ran Twave then yes I'd get rid of reflect, but what I can do with the given set, to me, is so much better than +Twave - Reflect. Give it a try sometime, I garuntee you'll fall in love :P.

and i dont know if you have hg/ss but heal bell is mas better than sub for lanturn if you want a status healing or preventing move and if you dont have SS but want to try it just pm me and i'll tutor it for you. and please be careful when saying something checks something that it doesn't i feel it give the wrong impression to new players it doesnt check scarf rachi because now alot run zen headbutt and iron head. don't worry i have like 4 flawless shiny ones so i have no intention of keeping it same goes for anyone else i'll SS tutor your pokes for free

i do it on smogon so why not help out here as well :)
I do have SS :). And I know about heal bell. I ran that Lanturn a while back, for the time being however she covers Twave weakness, Primeape won't fall asleep and roserade eats toxic spikes and doesn't get poisoned. the only problem I do have is burn, though Rotom doesn't mind a little burn, and neither does Lanturn. Thanks for the offer though :D.

all around good idea but placing the entire game on a poke who can only use three attacks after its first turn is not a good. it's fine if ambipom aids in the sweep but it shouldn't be the main sweeper that just isn't viable especially in OU where so many thing have such good typing and such bulk. you may pull this off 45 times out of 100 but i just dont see ambipom pulling off a sweep not even with reflect and all this other support it just doesnt have the ability to get the job done. I love ambipom but im sorry he shouldnt be the focus of any team in OU unless it is a double battle

When a team is down to their last 3 pokemon, all at 75%- health, crippled by some status or another then there isn't much that they can do to stop the ambipom sweep. Though yes, as is with any team that bases their strategy on a gimmick, it does fail from time to time. But the idea of the team is to be in for the long haul, drag it out for as long as possible and send in ambipom to claim the glory. He also adequately fills the roll of revenge killer. A predicted switch has killed some many ghost that could have other wise proved to be difficult that it's unreal. After that they're weary about the switch and stay in to get 2HKOd by fake out + _move_.

    @ randomspot555

First we have to deal with your lead. First, it's just a poor lead. Choice-leads really are for scouting purposes (IE U-Turn) and Trick users. It's attack stat is too low for most leads to care, and it doesn't stop anyone from setting up SR. It only prevents it.

You'd have to, for example, attack twice to KO Aerodactyl with Close Combat, and hope he Taunts you first. Otherwise it still gets SR.

Same goes with most suicide leads. And if you Taunt them, then you both switch out. Having Taunt on a Choiced-Poke will also hinder you later in the game.
Yup Full understand you there. I have taken Taunt off .. though it worked a couple of times and saved me having to worry about a lot of things .. it was only like 20% successful in the long run (though did save me when I miss-clicked taunt on someone trying to toxic me :D). Replaced it with stone Edge. I've also noticed that Primeape has access to Outrage ... But hell I'm not gunna be stupid xD.

Move Roserade up to your first slot. It is a great lead and only really worries about Scarf Jirachi and, to a lesser extent, Azelf and Aerodactyl.
The problem with that is I hate every single one of those leads ... Though I have already pondered the idea and may actually try it out.. see what happens.

Replace Scarf Primeape with Heracross. It, with Megahorn, gets dual STAB, and has a higher attack base stat, with better defenses, and only 10 points less in speed.
This I will do.

Ditch Ambipom for someone who can lay down Stealth Rock. If you don't mind waiting until mid game to lay down SR, take your pick of any Metagross sets except Agility-Metagross and put Stealth Rock on one of them. Ambipom is useful in OU, but really, only as a lead. The other option is to ditch Roserade, but that makes Rotom slightly less useful because it isn't spin blocking anything.
Though metagross would fit very nicely (as would heatran - covering roserade's fire weakness) I do have my reservations about him. So I will look for someone else who can fill a similar role.

Disagreeing with CA above. Rotom forms with will o wisp and Reflect can stall out CB Scizor when it's trying to scare you away with Pursuit. You risk Flash Fire activation in some cases, but with Lanturn on the team, I doubt that'll be too much of a problem.
Best physical wall I've ever played and complements Lanturn nicely. Similarly if I can get tyranitar with a burn, endure a crunch and set up a reflect, tyranitar becomes easy pickings for Lanturn. I did this earlier and the crunch took about ~50% w/ burn and when I outsped with reflect it took 36% ... granted it was a big chunk but after I got lucky with a flinch Lanturn easily picked it off.

However, not much point in carrying Discharge if non-poison/steel will be poisoned, and steels will be burned. Toss on Thunderbolt for extra damage. Or Charge Beam if you want to go gimmicky and boost your Special Attack. Same goes for Lanturn, though you might want to ditch electric attacks completely and go for Ice Beam.

I may throw charge beam on Rotom for a bit more power behind Air slash. I'll see how that goes. However as far as Lanturn is concerned, she is, at the moment perfect for the team and I like to be throwing around a lot of status and discharge, though not as reliable as Twave helps in taking down the likes of moltres, whilst still allowing me to paralys other people. Similarly, whilst I am behind a sub it doesn't matter if I hit a few bum attempts at paralysis ... The won't be hitting me anyway, especially if they are confused to :). And say rotom falls, and Tspikes get spun away I'm lost for Paralysis support.

You both seem to not like the idea of me having an ambipom as the end game sweeper. I must say that it really does work well if I play the team right. There's occasionally a few hicks but it's nothing to deter me from him. And the idea is to sweep at the end with something that isn't expected. Feel free to suggest gimmicky replacements and I'll happily try them out, but I don't want to sweep with something as simple as a DDmence or CB Scizor. I'm newish to shoddy and I wanna learn the hard way lol.

  8. Edits in red

So I'm starting to get the hang of this whole OU business and starting to do well. This team is based loosely on my in game team. Though some unfortunates didn't make the cut (Noctowl Typhosion :/ ). The team is also designed to play in OU thoughh there are a lot of UU pokemon in the team. They do serve a purpose and do work exceptionally well :).

    Lead

    [sHINYSPRITE]407[/sHINYSPRITE]

Erika (Roserade) (F) @ Focus Sash

    Ability: Natural Cure

    EVs: 152 Spd/252 SAtk/100 SDef

    Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    - Sleep Powder

    - Leaf Storm

    - Hidden Power [Fire]

    - Toxic Spikes

After a bit of thought and the suggestion from Randomspot I've decided to put Roserade as the lead. I did have my worries due to it being quite frail and a lot slower than some common leads. However, those worries have been lifted as of a bit of testing. She is working really well and I can understand why she was nce quite a popular lead. The idea is to put things to sleep then use Tspikes. Hidden power fire and Leaf storm are solid attacks with fairly decent coverage and help to take out taunt leads and such like. The EV's are so she can come back in late game should she need to be, and the evs allow her to be able to come in on a non boosted special attack.

    Physical Sweeper

    [HGSSSPRITE]130[/HGSSSPRITE]

Xuanlong (Gyarados) (M) @ Wacan Berry

    Ability: Intimidate

    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Dragon Dance

    - Waterfall

    - Stone Edge

    - Taunt

Xuanlong the gyarados has been my favourite OU sweeper since I started playing OU. I've opted for a more bulky set so that I can come in on rocks and take an electric hit .. and then get the OHKO in return. Taunt is to stop me being p/hazed, and stops status AND other setting up on me. Stone edge had to come over ice fang on this set however, due to the lose of a third move. Water fall for stab, stone edge for other dragons and gyarados.

    Revenge Killer

    [HGSSSPRITE]214[/HGSSSPRITE]

Al (Heracross) (M) @ Choice Scarf

    Ability: Guts

    EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd

    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Megahorn

    - Close Combat

    - Stone Edge

    - Night Slash

Gets rid of blissey and other things that need to be gotten rid of. As the title suggests he is my revenge killer, and also works effectively as a late game cleaner upper should it need be. Megahorn + close combat = Dual 120 STAB attcks = oblitaration (to weakened foe ;). Stone edge is for the dragons and night slash if for a predicted ghost switch in. The idea is to come in after one of my guys has died and get the revenge kill . Similarly coming in on a status move (preferably tocix or burn) can grant me choice scarf w/ +1. In general a potent killer on my team

    ---

    End game Sweeper

    [HGSSSPRITE]424[/HGSSSPRITE]

Mr Jackson (Ambipom) (M) @ Life Orb

    Ability: Technician

    EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd

    Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

    - Fake Out

    - Return

    - Low Kick

    - Payback

Mr Jackson Returns .. and with a vengeance! Because I do have a love for Ambipom the aim of the whole team is to set him up for a late game sweep. Though he does step in occasionally to finish off things that other wise can't be so easilly finished off. Fake it is your standard, return rips holes in most things. Payback with good prediction owns most ghost and low kick provides nice damage to steels :D

    ---

    Special Wall

    [HGSSSPRITE]171[/HGSSSPRITE]

    Annata (Lanturn) (F) @ Leftovers

    Ability: Volt Absorb

    EVs: 40 HP/216 Def/252 SDef

    Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)

    - Confuse Ray

    - Discharge

    - Substitute

    - Surf

Annata is my parafusing special wall. She also here to take the electric hits that gyarados can't take. She dispenses of a lot of special threats as well as any special wall I've ever played and is constantly being thrown in and out of battle to generally wind the oponant up. People might call parafusion cheap ... but hell atleast it's not a serenegrace iron header xD. (she also takes care of both of our serenegracing friends ;)

    Physical Wall/Defensive Support

    502.png

    Courtland (Rotom-s) @ Leftovers

    Ability: Levitate

    EVs: 248 HP/168 Def/92 Spd

    Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Discharge/Charge Beam

    - Air Slash

    - Will-o-wisp

    - Reflect

Thanks to Randomspot for recommending rotom :D. Works really well as a physical wall and destroys anything that decides to attack this thing physically. He is also happy to take the earthquakes aimed at annata should need be, and eliminates fake out leads quite handily.

Undecided between discharge and charge beam. Though I am opting for charge beam over discharge atm as the +1 granted me an OHKO on a Gengar switching in :D :D . Plus, with a plethora of status painting a rainbow of pain all over the oposition more paralysis is kind of over kill... but hey Overkill is good :D .

    ---

So that's the team. I under stand there are a few holes in the team, but if it's played slow and thoughtfully it is usually really effective :). It seems to be when I start rushing the pace I get my ass handed to me ... and there's nothing that can really remedy that, but other than my impatience if you can see anythign obvious let me know :).

  9. Ok well I only read the OP, not gone through 18 pages to read everyone else's answers, because well I don't wanna challenge someone else's beliefs. Though I welcome anyone to challenge mine. I've put it in spoilers because ... it's late and I've got nothing better to do than write a stupid amount lol.

I am an agnostic person, the pussy-footed hell bound among us who can't decide between creationism and science. Not naïve enough to believe science can prove everything, and similarly not wishful enough to say that something with little to no proof of existence holds all the answers.

There's loads of theories as to how the universe came to be and how we are here, and most of them hold some strong footing. I could rant all day about the pros and cons to each theory but I'll spare you of that boring stream of nonsensical babble :P .

When it comes to how we are here I got to score it 1:0 no to evolution. Simply being because of how rapidly things like viruses, fungi and bacterium 'change.' With every new year there's something like 144 new different strains of cold. Now without going into their purpose and saying things like God created these to test us and keep us on our toes, lets look at that on a basic level. In most cases a smaller organism is prone to a shorter life span, and within that life span every organism fulfils the same amount as every other organism (in most cases ;) ), lest species of the world would be dying out day by day. The things that organisms need to fulfill are procreation and a way to live (might that be the answer to the big 'Why are we here' question? Simply to live and give life).

So let's start with something as small as a bug, moths in particular. With every new year and changing seasons a lot of moths change their appearance to better fend for them selves and help camouflage themselves into their surroundings. This is adaptation, which is a form of evolution in itself - and provides a good reason as to why evolution happens.

In saying that lets take it back to micro-organism, viruses and such. Bacterium and fungi all love warm places to live and multiply, to, in essence, carry on their population. A human body provides such an environment of which bacterium can multiply and leach off of our existence - until lymphocytes, B and T Cells come a swinging and kill them. When this happens our body forms an immunity to that specific strain of bacterium/fungi/virus - again another solid argument for evolution. Not only does this happen but in a micro-organism's desire to 'live' and populate.. and in general be a parasite it too has to change to allow for this to happen - more evolution. If this wasn't to be true then no one would ever get sick again, or we'd all have died long ago.

More on human evolution. let's just, for funsies, say we were all ape-people before we came to be in this state. Humans started life back in the latter ages of the ice age, as the ice age dwindled so too did the need for us to have fur. Similarly hunting, walking, eating and mating methods all changed and as such so too did our posture and general physical biology to complement this (this could explain why we no longer need our appendix, and why we have no use for the eye lids behind our eye ids [i can't remember the scientific name for them .. optic appendages :S ? ... cats have them too lol]). Also take into account the lack of religion and social etiquette right back in those times, with a lack of religion, and considering this still happens to this date in some places, incest fuelled a lot of genetic shifts and make ups. This could have been the catalyst to us loosing fur, some children created by way of incest have all sorts of abnormalities - some people lack a clotting agent in their blood and develop haemophilia, who's to say we lost a hormone gland that promotes hair growth? Possibly what the tonsils were before they lost their use? (When you take into account the amount of glands that surround that area as is, it wouldn't be a total surprise if they turned out to be part of the endo/exocrinal system.)

Anyway that's how I explain as to how we are here.

Now if I haven't lost you already, this next part sure will.

The universe. Now let's go back to how I said smaller things evolve faster. Let's also now say that universe is actually tiny. And let's also look closer to home - our solar system. Now if any of you have done SAT or the equivalent in physics you will all know what an Atom looks like and how it is made up. An atom is electrons spinning around a nucleus full of protons and neutrons. Now again look at our solar system. You'll be hard pressed to say that our solar sytem and an atom doesn't share similar traits. The sun would be our nucleus - it's too hot to actually have a look inside of it so we can never be too sure as to what it contains, so this might all be moot - and the planets would be the electrons.

    F.jpg

The above picture is a picture of flourine - it has one neucleus and nine elctrons. I don't know about you but I think it looks pretty damn close to our solar system ;). So what am I getting at here?

The universe is ever expanding - and as such it's ever evolving to accommodate for all the nothingness that we're yet to discover. The stars are actually suns, big bulls of gas high in the sky, 7 - 100 years in the past (that doesn't go to say they are 7 years away - more like 7 - 100 x the speed of light away), all of which could well have their very own solar systems, and indeed their own entities and life forms. (Going off on a a tangeant >

The reason we haven't seen these lief forms is because aliens and other living things are probably only about as evolved as we are - and even if they weren't there would be no way for them to be able to survive a trip from their home galaxy/ solar system to be able to find us. I'm not trying to discredit the folk that believe in aliens, but think logically, if we can't do it, what makes you think they would be able to.

) What I'm trying to say here is that maybe the universe is like a sea, or a gaseous planet (that's right the universe being part of a different bigger planet .. odd concept right, if you're smoking something you shouldn't be I'd throw that bad boy away now before this gives you a stroke). The chemical make up of any liquid or gas is their corresponding atoms set about in a sparse fashion with a lot of space in between them. Now I think there is a lot of space between us and the next ∞ solar systems. So to me that idea makes a lot of sense. And then this carries on a lot like a mirror facing another mirror does ... each planet is a part of an atom which is a part of a bigger sea of atoms which is part of a planet. Similarly we could all be part of a table or some other object. ~On the same point here, with scientist trying to split an atom and everything - let me put this to you, anti matter is a substtance that lives without any external source of energy, it is in itself pure energy. Humans have a life force that keeps us alive ... an electric current that makes our heart pump, our bowels move in tune to peristalsis and thoughts occur in our head. Could we merely be the antimatter that scientists are looking for?

As to why all of this exists - look up the theory/laws of chance. I'm not saying there isn't a creator, I'm just saying there might not be :) ... and if it wasn't for holy books and all the flaws, contradictions that they hold, I may have a little bit more faith in the idea of creator.

And wouldn't you know it, I just gave you a stream of nonsensical babble xD

  10. I really think you should take into concideration some of the recommendations that were put forth by the other members, because so far you have a gaping gliscor, tyranitar, scizor and to a lesser extent zapdos weakeness. Any speedy pokemon with both an earthquake + fighting attack (Alot of pokemon) can take down a lot of your team. Similarly, hippowdon is going to mess this team up real bad because most of your team is only attacking physically, and the ones that are using a special attack really shouldn't be (because they won't do that much damage.)

Both Scizor and weavile both brilliant fill the role of 'revenge killer' due to their signature priority moves and high attack stats (not to mention their ability to double their attack in a single turn. So my first recommendation would be to pick either scizor or weavile and get rid of the other. and then bring back your togekiss because she is an awesome special attacker with the ever 'wonderful' serene grace + array of flinch inducing moves.

    - Stealth Rock

    Togekiss (M) @ Lum Berry

    Ability: Serene Grace

    EVs: 252 HP/104 Spd/152 SAtk

    Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    - Air Slash

    - Thunder Wave

    - Nasty Plot

    - Roost

There's probably a better way to run this set, though this seems devistating enough. Nasty plot when you come in, Twave the oponant, roost away the damage and then paraflinch them to oblivioon with air slash,

    Weavile (M) @ Life Orb/focus sash

    Ability: Pressure

    EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd

    Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

    - Swords Dance

    - Ice Shard/Ice Punch

    - Night Slash/ Pursuit

    - Brick Break/ low kick

This would be your basic late game sweeper/ revenge killer. Strategy is simple, switch into a crippled pokemon and depending on the circumstances either kill it with ice shard or set up swords dance on it (allow the sash to be activated) then kill it and sweep with either ice shard (for other priority users) or nightslash and brick break for everything else (note: night slash and brick break provide universal coverage, bar spiritomb [i think that is the only one who resists both] who, however, falls to ice punch)

That's all I'm going to do, everyone else has recommended good sets for everyone else :)
